  2. Let us shape how Islam is perceived by Non Muslims, through our kind actions Every action we do is representative of our values and belief system. If the action is favorable, the observer's subconscious will tie our actions with our declared beliefs, if on the other hand our actions are not representative of what we claim to believe, then, we have just committed a sin against a fellow human being by confusing them and as a result denying them the chance to join a great faith that teaches all that is good and forbids all that is evil. Unlike American Soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan who are there with a false claim to preach freedom and Democracy, ( Real Objective, slavery and Oil) Th Muslim armies in the seventh century, once they have conquered their adversaries militarily, they immediately led an austerely humble and piously brotherly life, which won the love and affection of the conquered nations. The behaviour of the Muslim soldier in these early days was driven by the search of Allah's mercy, not Salary, and to rid humans off their corrupt rulers who have dealt with their subjects with disdain, once the Muslim armies liberated a nation, The new conquerors lived by their book, The Holy Quran, in effect becoming a living example for the faith they came to share with their conquered fellow man-turned brother. Today, Islam as a concept is still winning hearts and minds across barriers of deceptive western media and unfair adversaries, however, nothing can verify any false accusation against our faith worse than our actions. The intention of this thread is not to recreate a past glory for Islam, my honest desire is not to confuse the honest non Muslim into believing that Islam is what our adversaries say about it, thereby denying them the right of true information of our great faith, so in that sense the we need to reevaluate our behaviour as Muslims when we come in contact with Non-Muslims in their own backyards. It is easy to cry and complain that there is an orchetstrated effort to defame islam and rightfully so in these days, but, it is our duty to show through our actions and words that we mean good for fellow man, not annihilation, caring for their wellbeing in this life and next, not blind animosity, cooperation, not confrontation, only then can the non-Muslim begin to understand that our faith is for his salvation, and not his annihilation as the daily media dosage prescribes. Once we cross that mental barrier, what naturally follows is a sympathetic dialogue, and as person who made positive relationship with Christians , Jews and Hindus, I must admit that we Muslims are the worse enemies of our own faith when it comes to how we project it outwordly through our actions or the lack of it. In New York, I had the pleasure of talking to a Jewish American about current affairs, the man could not help but hug me at the end of the conversation, I told him about the story of the Israelites in the Quraan, how Allah SWT has honred them, and how much gratitude they owe Allah in return for his favors, reading verse after other, the man was humbled, did I sell Islam out? nope, did he sell out Judaism? Nope, it was like a frisbee game, winning was not the end, understanding each other well while having good time was the objective, and for me it was one of the most memorable moments I can remember of a person who belongs to a faith that is in conflict with our faith. We need to observe our faith from the point of view of others, from the start, some of us place barriers between them and others they come in contact, and because of that barrier, the other person does not feel comfortable enough in asking questions nor understanding our faith as it relates to their faith, specially with the risidual prejudice the media has painted Islam in their minds. The solution is to open up to others, invite them to our homes, discuss with them and address their fears about our faith and people. What do you think will happen if you knock next doors neighbors door and offer help with their fall cleaning or their lawn? inviting them for a cup of tea in your house, or attending the graduation of their son or daughter? remember that these are key Sunnah behaviour of our Prophet SAWS that have been forgotten. To reach and chat with your neighbors and be of help to them.. I believe if Muslims in the west kept that positive attitude that in a matter of few years the same media we complain of always writing unfavorable articles about Muslims will change its language and write positive ones. You may say, that as Muslims, no matter what we do, the media will always interpret our actions as negative, and the following joke best illustrates that fear: A Pakistani guy is sitting on a bench in Central Park New York in a nice day when a dog attacks a little boy, the Pakistani jumbs out to help the boy and ends up saving the boy and killing the dog, the new York Time reporter shows up and tells the man he will write a great story about a New Yorker hero who saves life of a little boy from attack of a fierce dog in central Park, The Pakistani politely tells the reporter that he is not a New Yorker, then the the Reporter suggestes, to write about an American Tourist hero who saves a little boy from a fierce dog in central Park, the Pakistani guy again tells the Reporter that he is not an American tourist, that he is a Pakistani tourist, the next day the new York times headline read " A Pakistani terrorits attacks and kills a pet dog in central park" That joke and similar ones show the Rodney Dangerfield anxiety of Muslims in USA, they just dont get enough respect no matter what, but that notion in addition of being defeatist is wrong, on the average no day passes in which an American convert does not embrace Islam, why not dwell on that fact? the fact that, with all of our framed "bad image" , some wise non-Muslims are still sifting through the rubble of disinformation to get to the bottom of the issues of our faith, and then making an educated choice to join the rank of this embattled faith at the worst time ever. The question to ask is what can each and everyone of us do to project a lasting good imppression of Islam to those we encounter at school or at work, regardless of their attitude toward us? The answer is simple, and the rewards are immense, we can for one, be a living example of what we say we believe, and what we do today matters, because the mess we are in today, is what other Muslims have done yesterday, we need to take the pieces and move on with positive outlook, and frankly speaking, is there a substitute to that option? 3. Ramadan Kareem Nomads Here are my thoughts on Freedom We often hear this buzzword on a daily basis, from ancient times to the present, freedom remains to be a concept that people are willing to pay for with all they've got, including their very lives, just like Patrick Henry said in the 1700s: " Give me liberty or give me death " as down payment to guarantee freedom for future generations. The Great pyramids, one of the oldest shrines built for false Gods, were built by the labor of Jewish slaves of Pharaoh, they were built to immortalize the Kings of Egypt, Khufu, Khafrac and Manqarac, indeed if these edifices immortalized anything, it was the oppression of the Israelites and the robbing of an entire nation's dignity as human beings. Pharaoh, in his right mind believed that he was superior to the lowly Jews, that their suffering was justified as long as they served a purpose to the masters of Egypt who in turn faced their Gods with their offerings of the blood and toil of the captive slaves of the children of Israel. In the story of Pharaoh and his subjugated Jewish slaves, we read in the Quraan how Moses led his people out of bondage, how he risked his life for seeking freedom for his people and how Pharaoh fearing the imminent rise of a great leader of the Jews, ordered the killing of all new born Jewish males, only to raise the very Jewish leader he was afraid of in his own palace to his demise. Six thousand years later, the Children of Israel are returning the favor by doing it to the Palestinians, killing their children, demolishing their dwellings, and confining them like animals behind a wall of " security ". The Palestinians are learning what it was like being a Jew in Pharaoh's Egypt, or in Hitler's Germany, when man inflicts pain and agony on fellow man without mercy. Freedom is a conservative entity, it is an integral part of a wholesome balanced and a just universal system, a system that guarantees equal rights, assigns equal responsibilities and opens doors to equal opportunities for all equally qualified stakeholders. As such, for a human to lose her/ his freedom, it takes another to claim to be more deserving of that lost right due to supremacy of sorts, moral such as a claim of Devine mandate like the case of the Zionist Movement of Israel, and/or sheer might, over his fellow man, by wrongfully claiming that which was reserved for his fellow man to be only his. The false claimant of superiority begins to limit the freedom of the inferior, usually by using a convincingly stronger force to subjugate his fellow human being into submission and in the most primitive sense we have the infamous and abominable institution known as slavery, an institution that was well established back home in Somalia as well as the United States for some four centuries. Freedom in its absolute meaning is not restricted, to time, space or physical barrier, absolutely nothing could limit this type of freedom, that Absolute freedom belongs to Allah SWT alone, Allah SWT describes Himself in the Quraan, " Facaalun lima Yuriid" He executes (all of) His wishes" , and there we have a big wisdom, no one else can claim that trait, and every other form of freedom, lesser than the absolute Freedom of Allah SWT is gradually compromised to make room for or yield to that absolute freedom. So in that regard, the higher up the ladder one gets, through worship of Allah alone, the freer one feels, and the lower one gets down the same ladder by denying Allah SWT or disobeying him, the more enslaved one experiences to fellow mankind who he must serve as a slave . in effect , being the slave of a slave is not a good idea. Allah SWT is the light of the heavens and the earth, His light is like that of a lamp, and that lamp represents all that is good of life and eternal happiness. If we indeed seek that light with all of our hearts and soul, we rise above it all; we became true servants of Allah SWT, thus bypassing the service of other slaves of Allah all together in order to serve Allah SWT directly. As slaves of Allah SWT, we become free of all that hinders our good character. Being certain that Allah SWT is the master sustainer who replenishes our bank accounts, we become more generous to our fellow human being, likewise, being sure of His control of our life as the originator and as the terminator of life, we learn to live free of fear, and so we become free to live a fuller meaningful life while it lasts. During the Islamic conquest of Persia, a companion named Rubciyun Ibn Caamir, had these words to describe the reason for the invasion of the Muslim armies to conquer the Persian Empire " Allah has risen us so we can free mankind from the bondage of other men to the service of Allah, from the injustice of the systems that govern them to the Justice of Islam, and from the mental confinement to a physical world, to the vastness of the eternal life in heaven" In our faith, Allah SWT stresses the term "CABD" or the slaves of Allah, Allah SWT refers to all of His Prophets as slaves, because the term slave specially when it is for Allah alone, is the highest rank a man can reach in the kingdom of Allah SWT. Ironically today, 14 Centuries later, Muslims find themselves being lectured on a concept that they themselves pioneered and taught Medieval Europe, the concept of Liberty, justice and fairness, but because the driver of the new conquerors is not to please Allah SWT, Freedom as presented back to Muslims today does not have the original flavors of the awareness of Allah, it became a hollow terminology that does not stand for anything meaningful, worst yet, all the freedoms that we read or hear about are meant for the protection of the individuals right to disobey his Maker. But because these faithless individuals who buy this idea care less about God, they are often very serious in the service of the institutions that grant them these phony freedoms; suddenly they find themselves having human deities in the form of lawmakers to obey instead of their maker. Freedom as presented today is secular; it does not explain what happens after death, after we decompose, and after we are reassembled back to our forms for an eternal life of happiness and freedom, or an eternal life of suffering and confinement. So, in that above sense, Freedom is like a light above our heads ( Allah is The Light Of Heavens and Earth ), showing us the way below, we can see far if we are way up, taking Allah's light to see, as we descend down, and seek light from other than Allah SWT, we see less, thus we feel confined and less free. To put in a different way, If we seek to take the light of our freedoms from Allah, the highest source, all of our wishes are realized by Allah SWT, if on the other hand we seek to take freedom from those who deny Allah SWT, then the scope of the freedom will be much narrower, and we will end up becoming slaves for other than Allah SWT, so in order to be as free as you can, seek Allah alone in worship, obey Him and enjoy real freedom. Ramadan Topics

Ramadan kareem Nomads Thank you all for taking the time to select your options, I am sure that your choices were pretty representative of silent Nomads who whenever they see an e-Nuri topics chuckle behind their screens but shy away from being heard. Anyway, the tally of choices is in, InshAllah, as many Nomads have suggested, all the topics are good, and time premitting I will share my thoughts on these topics in due time, as for this Ramadan, inshAllah i will make time to write about the top choices: 1. Freedom is like Light, the Higher the sources, the wider its scope. This topic earned 5 stars (Votes), the most, and because it also has to do with contemporary issues in islam and the world, touching on it in this holy month is a great start for us in our search for inner peace and peace with the outside world. The topic is original e- Nuri, I have never heard or read anyone anywhere even hint about it. The title of this topic was trigerred by one of my confrontation with MADMAC of Somalinet years ago, and I did not even realize back then what a great wisdom Allah blessed me with by noting the anaology of freedom and superiority of the granting source. Later Brother Beard, a regular on Somalinet noted it with emphasis in his response post which made the idea a lasting wisdom. 2. Let us shape how Islam is perceived by Non Muslims, through our kind actions. This topic earned 4 Stars, the second choice for most Nomads which shows the high maturity of the audience, a forward thinking collection of Noamds, seeking to take control of the state of affairs as it reates to the image of Islam and hence Muslims. 3. How to avoid sins I have written similar topics before, but this time we will take a practical step further to rise above our weaknesses, inshAllah. ( 3 Stars) 4. Run Away from your problems, literally, Long Distance running and Taraawiih Prayers, Soul Body and Mind tuning, an e-Nuri Analogy. (3 Stars) This is the culmination of years of observation, my obsession with fitness, physical, and my love of service of of Allah swt ( spiritual) and the wisdom to relate the two ( Mind ). This is a motivator, watch out, it may pull you our of your comfortable couch, and connect your disparate life to become a wholesome seamless purposeful life. Nur
  5. Mutakallim bro Thanks for clarifying your point further, your comments on Islamic philosophers is well taken, there is no doubt that Islamic Mutakallimiin have contributed a great deal of wisdom to later generations but if you would allow me, although the aql is the gateway to knowledge, the heart , Al Baseerah remains to be the home of iimaan, and as the Title of this post reads, Believing leads to seeing, unlike the aql method that requires impirical proofs to validate ideas. Muslim Mutakallimiin were somehow unsuspectingly dragged to this turf in their sincere desire and quest to make dawa to non Muslims or refute their claims, but as I will post later in more thoughtful way, Muslims Europe was lost not by Crusade armies, by two factors, Carnal indulgence of the ruleres, and mental indulgence of the learned. In contrast, Allah SWT teaches " Fa bi ayyi xadiithiin bacdallahi wa aayaatihi yuminuun?" " Fa dhakkir bil Quraan man yakhaafu waciid" and these verses are many. The messneger of Allah SWT taught that we refrain from polemics and Jidaal with people of the book, and in the Quraan Allah teaches, " wa jaadilhum bil latii hiya axsan" and if good comon sense does not avail, Allah teaches " wa acridh canil jaahiliin" My point brother is Aql has a place in Islam, without it as I said previously, there is no accountability, and because our aql is limited in its capacity, we need to leverage Naql to aid the aql just like how we use glasses to aid our weak vision. That is why Muslims bedouins rose to world prominence and fame after literally following the naql, and on the way meeting more knoledgeable nations like Persia and Constantinoble, and winning the cultural confrontation with the knwoledge they gained from the Naql. For these bedouins to belive in Propphet Muhammads message Naql, they primarily relied on their aql to come to the conclusion that Muhammad was indeed a Messenger of Allah. Once that fact was agreed upon, they took wisdom from the purity of that single source of wisdom and knowledge, as the Prophet SAWS said " I have left for you two sources if you grasp well, you wouldn't get lost after me, The Book of Allah and my Sunnah" One such aql mental exercise to aid naql was evident when a group of bedouins doubted the authenticity of the Quraan after they heard the verse " Inna haada la shey-un cujaab" in Suurah Saad, the word Cujaab, they argued was not Arabic, thus, Muhammad was making it up. When they actually visited a prominent linguist in his house and he aske them to come in, contraray to Arabic culture, they declined, and the infuriated linguist said " why are you not coming in? inna haada la shey-un cujaab" The dispute was resolved as they heard the liobguist using the same passage as the Quraan. That was a case in which the Aql validated the Naql, and there are many other examples to this effect. Brother, I am busy preparing the Ramadan Topics, please excuse me for not taking the time to express my thoughts as detailed as your post deserves, it is said that Knowledge is limited by our ability to communicate, inother words, no matter how much we know, if cant communicate our knowledge, to an observer we come short of their expectation. InshAllah, I shall come back, as this topic inetersts me. Nur
  6. Mutakallim bro I meant the translation of the semantics. The word pair in context that I pointed out were Phiosophy - Hikmah Philosophy is defined as: 1. n] a belief (or system of beliefs) accepted as authoritative by some group or school 2. [n] any personal belief about how to live or how to deal with a situation; "self-indulgence was his only philosophy"; "my father's philosophy of child-rearing was to let mother do it" 3. [n] the rational investigation of questions about existence and knowledge and ethics In the Arabic language, Al Hikmah is defined as: 1. v. Axkama. (Perfection) " Kitaabun Uxkima aayaatuh 2. v. Autenticated ( Thumma yuxkimu aayaatih" 3. n. Clear, not ambiguous, " Fa idaa unzilat suratun muxkamatun"- " Minhu aayaatun muxkamaatun" 4. n. Axkam, most just, " Wa anta axkamul xaakimiin" 5. n. Ximah, inteligence, firm grasp of issues, the perfect resolution of conflict. 6. n. Xakiim, a person with all above descriptions of perfection. Xikmah in Quraan was manifested by Suurah Al Luqmaan, in which Allah showed us that the best Hikmah is to be greateful to Allah, by not making Shirk, kind to parents, humble when walking, lowering our voices etc. Hikmah in Hadeeth : The prophet SAWS defined Hikmah: Raasul Xikmah makhaafatul Allah" - The fear of Allah as the essence of Hikmah. Based on these we note. That the two concepts may not be interchangeable in most translations, albeit certain specific passages in which a very brilliant idea is said to be a philosophy and a Hikmah at the same time. Wallaahu Aclam. Ramadaan kariim Nur
  7. Revisiting the past post of " The Party" For the Ramadan audience Congratulations! You've just accepted an invitation from Allah SWT, your creator, to come to his House, for a party and the surprise of your life, ever!. Now that you know who is the host of this party, Allah SWT, I feel honored so many Nomads have taken me for serious when indeed the way I presented this thread was rather a contemporary setting of a worldly party, many of you who, in the course of your lives are invited to parties, may be leery accepting any RSVP, but because it was from one of your veteran Nomads here on SOL, you have accepted, some of you with a big heart, some so excited that they could not wait the posting of the thread, and others, who playfully represent the Devil, literally turned down the invitation because, her Mother would not allow her to attend the party, ironically, Allah SWT says in the Quraan about those who turn down this offer that their mother is indeed Haaawiyah, Hell fire ( May Allah protect us all from Hell and the advocacy of Satan ). Another category of Nomads turned down on the pretext of assumption that its a boys night party, while many other dear Nomads who I wished to respond did not, knowing how great this party is going to be, I hope they don't miss the real party that I am going to post. The Invitation: Allah SWT says " Wallaahu yadcuu ilaa Dar es Salaam, wa yahdii man yashaa ilaa siraatin mustaqeem " " And Allah is inviting (you) to Dar Es Salaaam, and ( Allah SWT) guides who He wishes, to a path that is straight( toward the Dar Es Salaam)." " Dar " in the Arabic language means a House, Palace, Mansion, Villa etc. Salaam , meaning Eternal Peace, one of the ninety nine (Asmaa ul Husnaa) names of Allah SWT, the source of peace as we usually hymn His praise after our daily prayers: " Allahumma Anta As Salaam, wa minka As Salaam " , meaning : " O Allah, You are the (essence) of Peace, and you are the source of all of Peace ", so by responding to the RSVP of Allah SWT, inshaAllah, in the day of judgement when you finally approach paradise, it will be said to you " Udkhuluuhaa bi Salaamin aaminiin " " Enter (Paradise ) peacefully " I have read this verse in Suurah Younis many a time, but like a short wave Radio, I have never tuned my focus so sharply on this verse like I did past couple of weeks. When I read " Allah SWT is inviting (me) to Home of Peace, His House , I was really touched in a very special way, when I drove away from the Masjid, the only thing in my head was the RSVP, poor insignificant me!, I am invited to Allah's mansion, for an eternal party, with plenty of food, drinks and permanent youth and beautiful women, (gorgeous men for the sisters, like new me!, no kidding), I was in my vehicle, tears started flowing on my cheeks, so much so that I had to pull over to finish crying, what a soothing effect did I get afterward, Wallahi, I felt reborn again (not the Christian way), once more with a solid mission to do good on earth, to dedicate my life to serve Allah SWT by doing what he values most in people, helping others to help themselves, feeding of the poor, educating the ignorant, advocating for, and consoling the oppressed, The Quraan, holds many treasures sprinkled on the pages we read that we may not be looking deeper, this verse, has fundamentally rearranged my priorities in life, and hence the preparations for meeting my maker, literally, accepting on His offer by meeting the requirements set in Quraan and Sunnah. Requirements that form the bulk of the "Pursuit of Happiness", center piece of American Constitution, ( so Nomad readers who reside in The USA can finally say with pride that following Islam as a way of life is protected by the American Constitution), since its goal is the pursuit of happiness, and you never thought Pursuit of happiness was an Islamic thing? ...many people chase elusive happiness in their lifetime, but only few will attain the real thing, and I assure you, it is not going to be in their lifetime. It was reported by Abu Hureirah May Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah said " Those who enter paradise will enjoy and never will they be miserable, they will live forever and never will they die, their garments will never wear out and theirs will be an everlasting youth " Nomad brothers and sisters, isn't an honorable gesture from Allah SWT, to invite you to his house, the Jannah, Paradise? , and because you have responded to his RSVP, you are shortlisted and specially chosen to receive the road map that will guide you to get to the Party in Jannah. So Congratulations, Brothers and sisters in faith. Allah gives you the good news and says to you: " Lilladiina istajaabuu li Rabbihumul Xusnaa " As for those who have responded (positively) to their Lords ( RSVP), their ( Reward) is the Husnaa (the Party in Paradise )" Engineers measure performance to test response times of systems they design, how fast does a system respond to an stimulus, the above verse, specifically deals with the testing of the response time of humans to their Maker's RSVP, because it is within the frame of our life time that we have to respond to the heavenly stimulus. The second measure engineers measure is the quality of that response, and I can not put it in a better way than the following verse: " Lilladiina axsanul Xusnaa, wa ziyaadah " As for those who've performed well (under difficult conditions, as a response to please) their Lord , their (reward) is Husnaa ( Paradise) and some extra ( surprise)" It isn't about what we know only, it is not about what we do, but it is also about the results we achieve with the last two that really counts at the end of this life's journey. Can you guess the surprise in store for you? when Allah SWT invites you to his house and amazingly you beat the odds and show up, you definitely deserve a great hospitality treat, for all that "gimme -a -break!" you used to yell while on earth, here is a big break! of food , drinks, and the greatest of all joys, yours will be a splendid face and sparkling eyes glued on the sight of their Magnificent Lord: " Wujuuhun yawma idin naadwirah, ilaa Rabbihaa naadhirah " What a joy! And you thought that no one cares about you? how wrong were you all along, well, if you could only imagine how much Allah SWT has honored you, and is willing to guide you! whenever you take a step His way, he takes two steps toward you, when you walk toward Him, he runs onto you, and if you are bearing the weight of a gorilla the size of planet earth in sins and mischief on your back, and you come to Allah SWT resolute to start it all over again, Allah approaches you with the weight of planet earth in forgiveness, try Him! now that is some good news innit? When Allah SWT ordered Abraham to invite mankind to visit his house in Makkah as pilgrimage, It was Allah's way of sending you an RSVP to His house , Paradise, to see who will respond and say " Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik " , here I am O Allah, Here I am " as a response to his invitation. When the Muezzin calls for prayer, saying " Hayyah Alal Falaah " "come respond to success" you are responding to Allah's eternal invitation and RSVP to paradise and Allah will say to you: " Fad khulii fii cibaadii wad khulii Jannatii " " Come join the ranks of those who worship Me, come enter My Paradise " In the course of our daily routine, the opportunity to respond to Allah SWT presents itself in concealed ways, the trick is to always be alert and on the lookout and be aware that you are under a test to see if you can collect as many points to qualify for the party. " Wa an leysa lil insaani maa sacaa, wa anna sacyahu sowfa yuraa " Meaning, " man does not have in store in the herafter save the efforts he had earned " Whenever you notice the need of an orphaned relative or a hungry destitute, to respond to their need is to approach and overcome obstacles and hurdles that are on your way to the party in Jannah, are you in good shape for that feat? keeping your cool whenever someone gets on your nerves with a sordid comment, is another way to collect valuable points to attend the party, so is persuading your enemy to be on your side by behaving with a divine character of tolerance and forgiveness. Because time is valuable and life is short, you have to focus on doing what benefits you most, and according to the Hadith, Allah SWT loves those who care for and benefit other creatures, so what are you waiting for, you can benefit humans by helping save them from Hellfire through wise discussions, you can also help them by feeding them or you can help them by seizing your evil intentions toward them, as for other creatures like animals, be humane, because it can save you from Hell fire, a biblical story confirmed by the Sunnah says that a prostitute was saved from hell by giving water to a thirsty dog. This party however, is exclusively for those who categorically refused to respond to Satan's party on earth in which Satan falsely promises happiness, prosperity and longevity to his allies and friends. You can not have it both ways, you need to makeup your mind early in the game. This party is not for those who had previously responded to Satan's RSVP and to whom he will disown in the day of judgment, saying to to them : " Allah SWT promised you and delivered against it, while I also promised you but failed to deliver on my promise, I had no power over you except for your willful confirmation to follow me when I invited you ( to disobey Allah SWT) , so blame me not, but blame yourselves, don't come running onto me for help, because I am not coming running onto you for help" Quraan. Satan's party is short-lived, even if takes a lifetime, the result is always a painful stand in front of your maker to answer for your deeds, Satan packages the glitter of this present life as his party, but life on earth with all its attractions is like a short lived mirage in which we feel that we are in control when in essence, we are not, it is mankind's inherent nature to be aggressive when he feels self sufficient, Allah SWT says in the same Surah Younis: "The likeness of the (appeal) of life on earth is like a rainfall we've poured down from the sky, to grow plants on the ground, in order to feed livestock and hence people ( as the food chain), up until ( the intensity of rainfall makes) earth show its treasures and beauties at which point its caretakers firmly come to believe that they are in full control, (suddenly) our decree is passed( for its destruction) thus we turn (mankind's possession and efforts) to pieces as if it has not been there yesterday, thus we clarify for folks who soberly reflect " Nur Next Attractions The first to make it to Paradise The Reception and Gates of Paradise The VIP Guests Description of paradise .....and More 2004 e-Nuri Softwaano Series Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik!

    Ramadan Topics

Ramadaan Kareem Nomads Like last Ramadan, I have so many thoughts that I'd love to share with you all, but due to the time factor, specially in Ramadan, it becomes difficult to deliver. But, because Sister Rayaanah reminded me of my duty to the Nomads, ( she actually made me look up notes I jotted on my organizer for topics that I wanted to write about ). Below are the list of topics I can share my thoughts with you, so list the 3 topics you wish to read about in Ramadan. 1. You've got a friend, Tackling Pesronal Problems with rock solid convictions. 2. The Value Chain Of Islamic Dawa, An Analyses. 3. A Prisoner On Parole, An Outlook from Inside. 4. How to avoid sins 5. Life is a school, teachers are everywhere 6. Guaranteed Departure, Arrival and Auditing. 7. Obsession with body shapes, and the Hijaab 8. Let us shape how Islam is perceived by Non Muslims, through our kind actions 9. Freedom is like light, the higher the source, the wider its scope. 10. 9. Ramadan kareem Rayyana sis Rayaana! Just what we need, to drink from the river of Al Rayyan in Paradise, one sip, and forever free of thirst. So you are a green lady too? maashaaAllah, Tabaarakallah! ...Somali Green Party in the making, I am also into alternative energy sources ( Qaat is not one of the green energy sources in case some Nomads get confused ) like the wind, waves, and women power! thats right, we Somalis have not harnessed the immense potential energy source in our women, empowering them with knowledge and faith, Somali women are awsome, it is because of them that the Hijaab became a normal sight worldwide, likewise, i believe that they can change the course of events back home, specially now that we Somali men after 14 years have failed to change anything, we have the same old guard reassembled in Nairobi, Kenya, with tribal allegiances swearing on Holy Quraan with intent to disobey Allah verbatum! As for your request of new topics, I keep an organizer in which i jot all my thoughts for future topics, but due to lack of free time ( except for my long distance running training ) I have so many unfinished topics, i pray Allah bless me with the time to sit down, focus and write. Here are topics in my organizer, please help select the best three for Ramadan. 1. You've got a friend, Tackling Pesronal Problems with convictions. 2. The Value Chain Of Islamic Dawa, An Analyses. 3. A Prisoner On Parole 4. How to avoid sins 5. Life is a school, teachers are everywhere 6. Guaranteed Departure, Arrival and Auditing. 7. Obsession with body shapes, and the Hijaab 8. Lets shape how Islam is perceived by Non Muslims, through our kind actions 9. Freedom is like light, the higher the source, the wider its scope. 10. 10. Caqil I've just finished reading your interesting discourse wit PK. Here what I understand. PK is responding to your resolution to abandon philosophical discourses. For PK Philosophical disources are a search for truth, never to be abandoned. For you Philosphical discources are Polemics, non ending brain draining excercise that almost always never deliver a conclusive tangible or practical result, thus futile. As humans, we should never stop search for truth, as Muslims we should never waiver in understanding Quraan and Hadeeth as sources of wisdom. PK Writes: " philosophy issues from the niche of prophecy".تنبع الحكمة من مشكاة النبوة I notice a slight semantics error here, Philosphphy and HIKMAH are not the same. However, philosophical discources may result in reaching Hikmah. Philosophy therefore is a process, Hikmah is the end result. Hikmah is defined in Arabic as the activity of placing everything where they rightfully belong, in perspective. So in that sense, Justice is a manifestation of Hikmah, maximizing desirable good result when prioritizing competing options are presented is an excercise of Hikmah. I agree with PK and Viking that the reason CAQL is tool given to us to find truth, without reason, we are unaccountable for our actions. I also agree with Caqil that sticking with what we already know of truth to deliver what we as Muslims are required to deliver of worship of Allah is a great wisdom. I can see it coming from Viking or PK that the excercice of thinking or reasoning in itself is a form of worship, and i fully agree, Allah SWT says: " Surely in creation of the heavens and the earth, there are signs ( for pondering of the essence of life and creation) for those with pure minds ( not corrupted by wrong reasoning)" But like Caqil noted, at last we all resort to the shortest path, we no longer have doubts, we things clear, it is time to enjoy loving Allah SAWT with good deeds, helping the poor, digging wells, helping farmers with technoilogies that aid their lives, adding value to the human experience. 11. Zainabia First you have my utmost respect for your cool head, I pray for your guidance, you come across like an honest person, eventhough you admittedly lack knowldege due to your limited knowledge of the Arabic language which is the language in which all of Shia literature (the originals) were written. Ijtihaad is a level for those who master the Arabic as a condition and then master the rest of the Islamic sciences. About the lie you have accused me sister, it is not a schoalrly acusation unless you have done enough research to come to the conclusion that ( Vagina Lending)O principle does not exist, it does at least in Iraq, and Ayatullah Sistani is approved it,( do some Googling) I will list below the sources for this " Lie". Next, you amaze me sometimes, when you post arguments about slave girls and then claim that because it is OK for slave girls, then it is Ok for Shia women, do you suggest that free Shia women are analogous in Fiqh to slave war captive women? Below is a past post of mine please read and respond, it may resolve your confusion. The Mutah Marriages ( convenience secret no witnesses marriages) They say ( and they Lie) that the prophet SAWS said " whoever makes Muta marriage with a believer woman that he has the reward of visiting the Kaaba (makkah) 70 times. ???? I have never heard a stronger case for having ones cake and eating it too!!!!! It was reported by Al Saduuq that he said " That Mutah is my faith and the faith of my forefathers, so whoever applies (enjoyes it), he is in our religion, and who considers it wrong is a kaafir" Source, the book, He who Does Not Have An Access To A Faqeeh, volume 3 page 366. Note I like the title of this book, it is like one of those " Do It Yourself : manuals. This Hadeeth makes all Sunnah Kuffaar if it is accepted by Shia. The least times one can experience Mutah to be rewarded? Al Kaafi in the Foruus says at least one session will do to get the reward. Source Furuuc Al Kafi volume 5 page 460. Age limit for women to have Muta with? It was reported by Al Tusi that it was asked Abi Abdulah SAWS " young girls, is it OK for a man to have Mutah with? He Said YES, unless she is a girl that can be tricked, they said " What is the age of a girl that cannot be tricked,, He said, ten years old" source Al Tahdeeb, by Al Toosi, Volume 7 page 255 and Furuuc Al Kaafi by Kuleiny volume 5 page 463. Can a man have Mutah with a woman from Alal Beit? The scholars say NO. Sources Al Furuuc Al Kaafi by Kuleiny, volume 3 page 43, and Al wasaael volume 14 page 449. The Limit of how many woman one can have for Mutcah , shia scholars differ, but it is around 100 women max if one has the stamina.!!!!!! It looks I am making this up? it is all available in their books for verification, be my guest. Mut'cah marriage with minors without penetration is OK by late Imam Khomeini, Shia source available upon request!( Posted Original by Nomad Danger above in Arabic ) If you think any of the above readings is not true, please show me , I will recant if proven, otherwise, I will assume it is an accepted Shia religion. Specially if you do not subsribe to the above scholars of the Shia let me know, so we can get closer even furher. Nur
  12. Caqil and LibaaxSanKaTaabte I am lost here, if this project is a serious project, then by all means, e-Nuri Venture Capital would like tto look into it in detail, we require a professional business plan, and a due dilligence process paid for by the freinds of the Dameer foundation. Upon examining the far reaching expected contribution of this animal on one hand, and the Animal cruelty Organization's counter points, the need of the community and the Somali mens pride of being associated with this "Democratic Party Symbolic" Animal, we will do our best to structure a financing scheme that will benefit the Dameer, the Donors and the Dadka. Caqil, I think that " The donkey dimension- an entrepreneural perspective " to be the best of the three choices. Caqil Bro, I am speechless to marry into the Garamgarams, this is the best way for me to lay down my roots, and thus my beliefs in the middle of the honest and great Garamgaram people, I need supporters of my cause, I can picture myself as the future in law of the Caqil of Garamgaram. Now can you list the protocol steps for followed by the Garamgarams, i know that they require guns as a gift and I am a pacifist, I do not believe in guns as a means of settling disputes, so how are we going about this?, but on the bright side, I am a great cook, the garamgaram girl will never cook again. 13. Zainabia Sister I have read your CUT n PASTE long posts. First of all you admit that you do not speak nor read Arabic language, the gateway to understand Fiqh in its Purity, so instead, you GOOGLE your way and collect the out-of-context translated artilces that are in no way authenticated as per their relevance, their period, their acceptance by the Jumhuur as the sayings of the unanimous Ahlul Sunnah wal Jamaacah. Second, because you can not read Arabic, the post just above your last response shows the Shia Scholar making muta marriage with a prostitue Halaal, so you counter claim it is the Sunnah Fiqh who accepts muta marriage with prostitutes. Sister, please post the source of the Sunni Scholar who suggested that Muta Marriage with Prostitute is halaal. Zainabia sis Of course at one point in islam Muta (with Witnesses) used to be halaal, also drinking alcohol, nudity in public ( even Quresih women used to make tawaaf around the haram naked in the early days), nine types of marriage, slavery, and all the evils that you can think off. But, in a short period, all of theses forms of evil were made haram by the prophet SAWS, one at a time, the last being the Muta Marriage and the eating of the donkey meat in the same hadeeth. Now, in the Shia Fiqh as I posted, the Muta marriage is not allowed for the Hashemite women, why? because it is not Halal for them, if it was halaal, why do your Ayatullah think that it is appropriate for you?. By cutting and pasting from Shia sites unusually weird fatwas credited to some Sunni scholars whose views were for a different problem, the slavery that was abolished by islam, you are suggesting that the Shia scholars blessed Mutaa marriage considers Shia women today like how early converts to islam considered captive slave women during the early days of Islam, your usage of such logic is pathetic at best, beacause by just pasting and copying, you are doing a disservice to the Shia group you claim to belong to. And if that above logic is your proof that the principle of (Lending of The Vagina)(Icaaratul Farj) in which a Shia husband can allow his house guest to have intercourse with his wive in his absence, then I have no doubt that you can find a lot of old Islamic literature to show that drinking alcohol, nudity in public, gambling, usury etc are all OK and halaal, all you have to do, go to the Shia websites, cut and paste purported materials with some lip service to out of context Sunni scholars statements, to come to the conclusion that having a one night stand in a LOCAL BAR, is halaal. One last question, if you do not mind, I understand that the Shia scholars consider Mutaa marriage to have many rewards, the more the better, can you relate to the audience if anyone shia you know experienced it and how they found it to be, specially these days with the AIDS epidemic? 17. Ramadan Kareem Nomads I am reposting this old page so we can share our knowledge of the Aqeedah issues, after revisiting this page today to see where I left off, I discovered many half baked great ideas in Aqeedah that can deliver sharp analogies of ambiguous concepts, so the strategy is to buyild on these issues like the Iman/computer security analogy etc. I thus invite you all to: 1. Either post a question about the content of this page, since the answers to these questions will create a knowledgebase not confined to that subject matter, or 2. Clarify mistakes or answer questions that were not addressed by anyone. Some of my best works on these boards were answers to questions from my readers, in case you have nor read the following piece, please enjoy, it never ceases to amaze me after all these years, at the time, it was a simple answer, but like all of my aswers, relatively well structured: Aqeedah Basics Note: This topic was generated by a question of a sister on another Forum who asked me if she was a Munafiq since she finds herself doing things that are not in line with her beliefs at times. The answer that I wrote hastely, without even checking punctuation or grammer appears below, and in the days that followed, the piece proved to be originally informative according to many readers who gave me a feedback on my post, so relac and read, and if you have thoughts , please add to it, nothing is complete except the word of Allah SWT." Am I A Munafiq? Well, that is a difficult question, first let us learn the relationship between iimaan, sin and kufr to see where nifaaq belongs. 1. No Soul will go to Jannah which is not a Muslim(a) 2. No one can be Muslim without Shahaada (Tawxiid) 3. Shahaada is information, we are required to believe in and bear witness thereof. 4. The test to see if we indeed believe in information represented by the Shahaada are our deeds: So our faith is composed of a A. set of Information we are required to believe. B. Set of Commands we are ordered to obey The extent of your belief in the information that our Prophet SAWS delivered is measured by the extent of orders that we obey. In other words, our obedience to the orders of Allah, is a reflection of our belief in the information delivered to us. So , Islam is composed of a two sets: A) A set of information to be believed in, like Allah, Jannah, angels, etc . B) A set of orders to abide with, such as Prayers, (Salat), Fasting, Upholding Justice, etc . The orders are subdivided in to two categories: 1.Orders to do something 2.Orders to stay away from doing something If Allah orders us to do something, and we fail to comply, the reason could be: a. We do not believe in the information b. We believe in it but we are arrogant c. We are MENTALLY CHALLENGED If (a) that is clear kufr If (b) That is also kufr, the type of Sheitan If © We may be the same case like a crazy person, Mentally Challenged, no responsibility. If we are ordered to stay away from something, and we do not, we have the following scenario: a. We do not believe in the information b. We are arrogant c. We can not resist temptation d. We are MENTALLY CHALLENGED All but case © are covered above. If case © is the situation, then that is called disobedience (Sin)(Macsiyah) and it is what Adam and Eve , (Hawaa) aleyhimaa assalaam have committed. It does not make one a kaafir by itself. ( The Khawaarij are the only to claim that a sin can make one a Kafir ) To generalize the above. If a person does something he is ordered not to do, the driver is more likely weakness against temptation, and that person is not a kaafir, this is the case of Adam and Eve, Aleyhimaa assalaam . If a person refuses to do something he is ordered to do, the driver of his action is more likely arrogance, like the case of Sheitan . Now we visit a new territory: There is a principle for detecting iiman ( Faith) levels developed by Sheikh Ibn Taymiyah. Called (Talaazumul Dhaahir wal Baatin )( Synregy of the Apparent actions of a person with the Hidden Motives within the consciousness ) I will simplify it for you again. The inside beliefs and the outward actions of a person are always working in harmony. Except when an outside disturbance influences that person attention. When as a result, the outwardly actions of that person projects and acts contrary of what is supposed to be inside . Meaning. In Systems Science, when we input a signal into a balanced system, we observe an output that reflects the shape of the original signal output + the function of the signal that operated on the system. In the absence of outside disturbance, we can always predict the output. But when an outside element disturbs the system, the output will not be predictable. A person who is a kaafir therefore will normally act as a kaafir. Sabeelul kaafireen And a person who is a muslim will always act like a Muslim. Sabeelul Mumineen In general, if you leave anyone alone, what he/she does is reflecting what they believe . But the minute that person feels that he/she is being observed, that feeling will somewhat effect the action of that person. An example is when you catch a child making funny faces on a mirror the child will immediately alter his behaviour to an acceptable manner. This is called conforming. So, when a Kaafir lives with Muslims, he may act like Muslim, to avoid problems. He is called a Munaafiq . And a Muslim who lives with Kufaar may at times act like kuffar, to avoid problems. He is called Mukrah . Now, a Somali Nomad who lives in Somalia, USA or Europe, is free to practice his faith, so if that person does not practice, or he acts contrary to his faiths tenets, his actions are an indicators of what is missing in his heart. In this case the actions or their absence are an indictor of the iimaan inside that person. However a Muslim who lives in tyranny, his actions may not be indicator of his belief. Because, if this person practices his faith, he is afraid for his life. As a result this person conceals his faith portraying himself as non Muslim, when in effect he fully believes his faith and is willing tp practise it to the fullest if he was not afraid. His fear, though could be justifiable or may be unjustifiable, in which case he is in grave error. Allah says : Are they same he who spends all his nights praying and prostrating, alert for aakhirah, and the one who is in darkness..............................." Nasalu Allaha al caafiyah. Aamin Walllahu aclam. Nur Complements of The Archives of e-Nuri and Company . Nasalu Allaha al caafiyah. Aamin 2000 Nurtel Communications Old Edition Paradise is Possible Summer Campaign Second Aqeedah Question : This article was also prompted by a similar question that I have answered in plain English, My way is always keep things as simple as possible, because the majority of people are indeed simple, not scholarly, again enjoy the simplicity of Aqeedah, brainteasers are not my cup of Caano Geel, so enjooy reading: Levels of Faith ( IIMAAN). A viewer with screenname Johnny Jake asked me on another thread if there are different levels of being a Muslim: Here is the answer I posted 2 Years ago: Bismillah, wa bihi nastaciin Islam literally means submission to a higher authority . As such, one gives up his power over his life at will, taking direction of how to live from that higher source. To be a Muslim, just like graduating from college, there is minimum requirements. Once these minimum requirements are met, a person is a muslim. Islam is composed of a word to utter and actions to perform The word to utter is further divided into two categories. A. The word of the heart, which is belief in what has been revealed . B. The word of the mouth, which is uttering the manifestation of the singularity of the authority that created the universe and everything in it, and following the course of the messenger who delivered this mesage . Deeds are further divided in to two parts. A. Deeds of the heart, which is the intention that drives our actions . B. Physical deeds, like prayers, fasting etc. If a person does not utter the word of the heart, meaning he does not believe, he is not a Muslim If a person does not utter the word of the mouth, eventough he believes in his heart, he is not Muslim, he is like Sheitan, or Abi talib , the uncle of the prophet SAWS. If a person's heart does not do the deeds of the heart, meaning he has no intention to do something, that person, is not a Mulsim, The prophet said " (Inamaal aamalu bil niyaat) the validity of deeds are conditional to having the right intention(NIYA). That is why manslaughter is a lesser charge than murder, because the accused did not intend to kill, no (NIYA). If a person does not do physical deeds, Like salaat, fasting etc. then, we look into what motivates that person to do or not to do what he is been ordered or prohibited from. If he does not do what has been ordered to do, that person is usually driven by disbelief, arrogance, or he is Mentally Challenged (SAFAAHA). All of which make him not a Muslim, except for a Mentally Challenged person, which wholly or partially makes him unaccountable to his deeds ( SAFEEH) If he does something prohibited, he is more likely driven by strong desire or Lust, arrogance, disbelief or being Mentally Challenged( SAFAAHA). All but Lust will make him a non-Muslim, Doing something prohibited because of lust and uncontrollable desire, is called a (MACSIYA) a SIN and it does not make a person by itself a non-Muslim. Accumulation of sins lead to disbelief in the long run though, just like sand pepples form mountains, A Muslim, therefore, does not trivilize sins, but looks up to the importance of the authority that he/she is disobeying. 18. Nomads As you argue on mundane side issues, Kofi Anan is setting up a corrupt proxy government to maintain Anarchy for the next 20 years in Somalia. Read below Miss Piggy's Nairobi Report, this is hilarriously serious, your thoughts please. The Nairobi Report Now that a Speaker of ther House has been officially elected ( he is a direct decendent of the Prophet SAWS, I am not suggesting that the original Islamic Caliphate is back on track in Somalia until he assumes the highest office ), The office of the President of Somalia and the Prime Minsister is up for graps, the funny thing is as the role and value of these offices are changing these rascals who dont even read the fine print dont realize that Somalia is heading to be a United Nations Protectorate fro the next 20 years, just like the one we had prior to Independence in 1960. Somalia will have a government by the UN, executed by the Tribe, for the Rich businessmen, an ideal Democracy, the Annan-Bush edition. The Presidential hopefulls who are buying delegate votes are paying $1000 up front and $4000-5000 in escrow account to guarantee that delegates deliver the winning vote for the Presidential hopefuls. From a purely business perspetive, ROE, return on equity which is a measure of the sustainability of the Anarchist Government of Somalia is defined as the net bribe earnings per MP Votes divided by the book value of the Somali Government which is broke, usually a ROE of 20% and higher is considered healthy for any business, but in the case of Somalia, business is so good, the ROE approaches infinity, for just few thousand dollars, the Presidential hopefulls are buying votes to steal public money in the form of foreign aid, but are they? Not quite These smart politicians who dont even read the fine Print of my friends plans ( That is Cofee Anaans guidelines for Governance ), the new Somali government will be a municipality, no financial mandate will be in their hands, the next Somali Prime Minister will share power with Kofee Annan, the Ministers will share power with respective UNDP officials ( Fisheries, Aggriculture, Civil service etc) so, writing checks will not be as fun as it used to be, unless? Unless what? Well unless the UNDP officials ( the most corrupt organization on earth ) and the Somali Cabinet Ministers agree to steal the public wealth together, but how Thats easy, because they will write the checks together, they will agree to give contracts to XYZ Company who will be indirectly owned by the third cousin of the Minister's second wife. But that is better than outright theft of public coffers for which these politicians are paying thousands to buy votes. 20. Kowneyn Bro you write: Nur: I would press our shia brothers on a concept which worries even the sympathisers of the shia I beleive you called it "institutionalized Taqiyya", taqayya is understandable under certain conditions but institutionalization means abuse and making a habit of down-right khiyana. This is a distinctly Jewish character and unacceptable in Islam. Answer: Kowneyn Bro You have just stumbled on the tip of an ice berg, if any religious group has ever succeeded in institutionalizing deception in the name of Tuqyah, the Imaamiyah have perfected the art to new hights, now, when you add this to a plethora of their invented concepts together, starting with wosrhip of the imaams, The Rajcah concept, and the Bidaa, and featsing with the Muta marriages, how can one ever trust what they say, worse yet, how can they trust each other? In one of the Iranian cities, a female Iranian social worker documented the result of this social epidemic, more than 250,000 Mutaa marriage children abandoned by their fun loving parents to the state, at times, it was reported due to the secrecy around this purported marriage, that a father and son have married the same woman, and a man married his daughter by mistake because of a fatal attraction. 21. Zainabia OG Girl I am back sisters, excuse my absence, of all the Aqeedah topics that I've posted it seems that you are more interested in Mutaa than princiles such as Imaamah, Rajcah, Bidaa. So OG Girl sis, you are talking about kufr, how about the belief of the Shia of the Kufr of Abu Bakar, Omar and Othman, Aisha and the rest of trhe companions, can you please shed some light on it without religiously lying using your tuqya gear? So before I answer this topic and dig the background of the Mutaa principle, its history, occurance, definition, and how it found home with the Shia, etc, I assume that OG girl is an Arabic native speaker, so I am posting a live lecture and Question and answer session between students at Dearborn Michigan and a prominent Shia scholar from Qom, held in Dearborn Michigan on 20 July 2002. 22. Miss Piggy Reporting For the Anarchist Magazine 2004 e-Nuri Political Satires

  24. Sakina sis Shia is a school of thought, complete with their fiqh, histortical interpretation of events and aqeedah. When you write that after researching their claims that you find the Shia are very accurate, an open check to all they stand for, it is you who have called to be questions on youyr belief of the Mutcah concept of the Shia, not me. So, if you have read my thread, I have divided the Shia int three periods, the first being the best, the second being questionable, but the third I showed that they have a new religion created by Abdullah Ibn Saba. The question about the Mutcah marriage is a key if a person indeed believes in Shia, but to claim that Mutcah is against chastity, it means that you believe it is a Zina, and if indeed you believe it is Zina, then, please be careful that asking a question is not equal to making a claim against a virtuous woman, so please do not interpret a question as if it is a claim which is not, anyway, I am extremely sorry for asking you this question sister, I apologise whole heartedly, consider me a fallible mortal, who can make mistakes unlike the Shia Imaams and their Wilaayatul Faqeeh who are Macsuums, who are a place holder for the missing 4 year old imaam. On the Muslim Hadeeths, InshAllah I will come back at length, but it is one thing to show a different perspective of events, however it is whole different thing to suggest Khiyaanah ( which you you yourself refused to accept as Buhtaan) that the best companions of the Messneger of allah SAWS have conspired to do evil and deprive the ummah of the rightful imaam, which the Shia say was Ali, and no where in the Shia literature did Ali himself, in my knowledge ever complain that Abu Bakar and Omar stole imamah from him according to the above Hadeth or the Shia sources which you say you do not believe. So, taking you on youyr words, that you do not accept Shia sources, we will only use Sunnah sources, since you are Ahlul Sunnah wal Jamacah like you said previously, I would like to discuss with you the Shia issues from Sunnah perspective in a brotherly way. 1. First Political issues The Imaamah of Abu Bakar, Omar and Othman was it a fraud like the Shia say? 2. Imamah ( is it a devine assiganment for 12 imaams, or a choice for Muslims) 3. Aqeedah Please answer all the aqeedah issues I posted Again, much respect Your brother in Islam Nur
  25. Viking bro You still have not answered why you believe in the absurdities of the Shia I posted, if you have no access to Al Kafi by Kuleiny which I doubt since you mentioned the Rawdah, you can say that if indeed these are found in the Shia literature they are indeed damaging to the credibility of the rest of their concepts which was the reason I posted these materials in the first place, but brother for the sake of fairness, why not take what the Sunnah say and defend the Sunnah against the Shia who blaspheme agianst the most revered generation who ever walked on earth accusing them of heresy after the death of the prophet SAWS? it is OK to lean toward the Shia, but at least categorize what they say, agreeing with some, but the obvious absurdities, ........, you need to take a stand, even hypothetically bro. Now coming back to the theoretical relativistic physics and space time relationship. Once more I feel that you are desperate to discredit what i write about Islam by cleverly using my discusion with Mr. Feinman, as an example. Brother, I did responded to his remarks in length with examples, here it is just to show the audience what my answer was: The answer was for a writer who asked specifically about the Soul and hence inquired if it has to do with a Fourth Dimension, my answer was not to delve into a special area in theoretical physics and its accompanying K-Theory of non commutative Geometry in search of a quantum geometry, neither was my response about Super String Theory and the on going reserach on Cohomology mathematical tools that are employed for that quest . My response in laymans langauage said that In Islam, the seen and observed natural world around us known in Quraan as DUNYA is composed of the the space and time, if a final dimension existed which the enquirer referred to us the fourth, I said it is the Ghaib, which Allah alone holds the keys to its myteries . The Ghaib is the unknown, in that regard all unproven theories for which no one has a laboratory big enough, tiny enough, heavy enough, light enough, hot enough , cold enough, fast enough, or slow enough to undertake an experiment is the Ghaib, it is immaterial to suggest nine +1 dimensions theory or 10 + 1, the strings are so wishy washy that nothing is detereministic. But those scientists who carry on these research know their limits and are humble, they dont call people foolish, no decent reseracher uses that language, scientists learn from their reserach assitants and students who at times get confused what their mentor is doing, a "foolish" observation I made in a research environment qualified for a patent application and an IEEE student government grant . Finally here is what Scientsis in the Space time Superstring theory say about their works : " We still don't know what the fundamental theory behind string theory is, but judging from all of these relationships, it must be a very interesting and rich theory, one where distance scales, coupling strengths and even the number of dimensions in spacetime are not fixed concepts but fluid entities that shift with our point of view ." Afterwards Mr. Feinman who threw the first stone by delving into the highly theoretical relativistic phyiscs conplained this way: " I do not think that was helpful in just throwing big words, which very few people understand, and I am one of them. The guy sitting opposite me spent a year of his lifetime trying to test some of the idea of NCG and did not get anywhere! Let alone me, who did not spend a single day except what I heard in seminars and you expect me to understand it! In this thread, we discuss Islam, why bring physics into it like Feinman did and later complained that I was using big words even his coworker is confused about? and is it fair of all the goofs I make, and I do, to pick the most complicated topic for a lay person and then build a case against me? If scientists are all out on this topic, to show that I made an error in such a scientific issue and use that to cast doubt on what I write about islam is malicious at best, and not to respond to any of the meticulously researched materials I posted, makes me unable to think that you are honest, and it is sad, because, if you knowingly distort a truth or side with falshood, Allah may punish you that you may never recognize truth again. Wallahi, I made Duaa for you brother, May Allah guide you to the right path, amin. Nur
