Maymoona sis There is a verse in the quraan that goes like this: " We were preoccupied with our wealth and Family" That was the answer some people would offer Allah when they are asked why they failed short of their committment to Allah. Allah and quraan should get our priority, even from work and family, else we will be in trouble. Nur

Simply The Best I am not good for sure, but it is interesting that women would marry a man mostly for his intelligence and common sense, while men would marry a woman mostly for her looks, that says a lot about Somali women in particular, most Xaliimos are more responsible and smarter that most Faaraxs, because due to the civil war there is an acute shortage of sane men, to match increasingly sophisticated Somali girls who are challenging the Somali man in every field, not mentioning their solo accomplishment of making the Hijaab afact to live with in the western world, Somali men on the other hand are in bad shape, there are not many intelligent men left around, which makes average men like me shine, here is the breakdown of somali men: 30% Somali elligible Male bachelors died in the civil war. 40% are either physically or mentally challenged. 20% are halucinated with tribalism 5% are Qaat Addicts 3% good men are too timid to ask to marry highly qualified women, so they plan to marry girls who live in Qurac Dheer Baadiye. 2% good men are available in the marriage pool That was scary imaginary breakdown, but you get the idea. Salafi Bro Your article is raising several issues in a bundle. 1. The Issue of meats slaughtered by Non Muslims 2. The Issue of by products of Haram sources. In your post you say That Sheikh Utheimeen was asked this Qusetion: " ma hukm al akalaat allati tahtawi 'ala ma yussammi bilhalaam (gelatin)" ? The Word of Gelatin is not Halaam, it is Hulaam, it the any high viscosity liquid such as the egg liquid. You write: he brings forth similar scenarios from the time of the the Sahaba (radi Allahou 'anhoum)( he uses the term: "kaanu ya'kuluna, which designate a recurring action to prove his view . Brother, A Good question is half the answer, teh qusetion to the Sheikh is as good as the information the Sheikh was given about the gelatin. It is unbelievable that the Sahaabah used to eat processed foods as we do today, also, non of the foods eaten underwent Chemical change that altered the reason it was made Haraam. Therefore, the Qiyaas that the companions used to eat such foods is ambiguous at best, first, it must be proven that the exact gelatin we are discussing is what they have eaten, second, that the Prophet SAWS approved it by knowing about it and allowing it. If those two conditions are not met, the Fatwaa is flawed, no matter the title of the Sheikh who gave it. You write: " As for gelatin that comes from pork, it is also considered halal because even if it is made from pig it has undergone fundamental process of transformation through certain chemical changes that is called “Istihalahâ€" Answer: Istixaalah means "imposible to differentiate" in Fiqh, not food that was processed and transformed to adifferent state, as Kutty claims, his bases of justification should be examined in two ways: 1. Does gelatin processing change its nature, part of its nature, or altogether its nature? 2. If we suspect that certain foods may contain a haraam thing and cannot differentiate, does the Xukm of Istixaalah in Fiqh make it Xalaal if other options are available? First question: According to Sheikh Ibn Taymiya, in His Book, Iclaamul Muwaqiciin, " Before a Muslim scholar gives an edict FATWA, he must know two things vey well: 1. The Subject Matter ( Phyisical Chemistry, Food additives and Processing methods) 2. The Sharia based on Quraan and Hadeeth, Qiyaas or Ijmaac of the Scholars. Does Kutty fit the above? please share with us. Certain foods are always, Xaraam to consume like Pork, and its derivatives, animals killed by mushriks, or killed in a non Halaal way Muslims or by people of the book, or animals who died naturally, The only way to render these foods halaal is: A. Neccesity ( Fear of death, or severe harm) B. A similar verse or Hadeeth ( NOT AN IDEA) In The law, a superior law can not be repealed by a lower law, or interpreted in a way that is not obvious than the original law, so, Pork and its derivatives are Haram by default. Secondly, these foods are not only Haraam, they are very harmful, because business profit drives their aim, not devine rulings, by suggesting they are OK with such flimsy daleels you are comitting a diservice to warn Mulsims of dangers of such foods. Writers Gary and Steven Null in their book : Poisons in Your Body , write: " The aimals are kept alive and fattened by the continuous administration of tranquilizers, hormones, antibiotics and 2700 drugs", they wrote. " The process starts even before birth and continues long after death. Although these drugs wil still be present in the meat when you eat it, the law does not require that they be listed on the package ". To be continued Nur

Caveman bro The iman topic is one of the most mportant topics that is least discussed. Many of the Hadeeths referring to iman do not mean the same thing, in the case of this Hadeeth, interestingly, The Messenger of Allah SWT included actions to words of Shahaadah. So, when the Prophet SAWS described iman numerically is it a definite set f numbers or merely a reference of plurality and diversity? Again, if we exhaust the said numbers does that mean that we have completed iman altogether? To answer these questions and more, let us look at the meaning of Iman from past articles: This article was also prompted by a similar question that I have answered in plain English, My way is always keep things as simple as possible, because the majority of people are indeed simple, not scholarly, again enjoy the simplicity of Aqeedah, brainteasers are not my cup of Caano Geel, so enjooy reading: Levels of Faith. A viewer named Johnny Jake asked me on another thread if there are different levels of being a Muslim: Here is the answer I posted 4 Years ago: Bismillah, wa bihi nastaciin Islam literally means submission to a higher authority. As such, one gives up his power over his life at will, taking direction of how to live from that higher source. To be a Muslim, just like graduating from college, there is minimum requirements. Once these minimum requirements are met, a person is a muslim. Islam is composed of a word to utter and actions to perform The word to utter is further divided into two categories. A. The word of the heart, which is belief in what has been revealed. B. The word of the mouth, which is uttering the manifestation of the singularity of the authority that created the universe and everything in it, and following the course of the messenger who delivered this mesage. Deeds are further divided in to two parts. A. Deeds of the heart, which is the intention that drives our actions. B. Physical deeds, like prayers, fasting etc. If a person does not utter the word of the heart, meaning he does not believe, he is not a Muslim If a person does not utter the word of the mouth, eventough he believes in his heart, he is not Muslim, he is like Sheitan, or Abi talib , the uncle of the prophet SAWS. If a person's heart does not do the deeds of the heart, meaning he has no intention to do something, that person, is not a Mulsim, The prophet said " (Inamaal aamalu bil niyaat) the validity of deeds are conditional to having the right intention(NIYA). That is why manslaughter is a lesser charge than murder, because the accused did not intend to kill, no (NIYA). If a person does not do physical deeds, Like salaat, fasting etc. then, we look into what motivates that person to do or not to do what he is been ordered or prohibited from. If he does not do what has been ordered to do, that person is usually driven by disbelief, arrogance, or he is Mentally Challenged (SAFAAHA). All of which make him not a Muslim, except for a Mentally Challenged person, which wholly or partially makes him unaccountable to his deeds ( SAFEEH) If he does something prohibited, he is more likely driven by strong desire or Lust, arrogance, disbelief or being Mentally Challenged( SAFAAHA). All but Lust will make him a non-Muslim, Doing something prohibited because of lust and uncontrollable desire, is called a (MACSIYA) a SIN and it does not make a person by itself a non-Muslim. Accumulation of sins lead to disbelief in the long run though, just like sand pepples form mountains, A Muslim, therefore, does not trivilize sins, but looks up to the importance of the authority that he/she is disobeying. Anticipating popular Demand e-Nuri Wordcrafts Creations Old Posts Presents : The Qiyaamah Position Finder Calculator: I am sure that you use a CALCULATOR for computing numbers, formulas etc. Many disciplies have developd their own calculators, for example, real estate professionals have their quick calculators for computing the amount of Ribaa you have to pay for the next 30 years. Every industry has developed a similar one, and I thought why not one for the next life. I Call it the Qiyaama calculator. It will tell you with precision of your whereabouts in a day that no one has a zip code, A tribe, a nation, A president, a King or a Warlord. That day we would only worry about saving our little rear ends from hot temperatures, and painful torments ( if you have ever sat in a parked car in Berbera, Djibouti, or Kismayo in hot season you can get the idea, 50+ is not rear end friendly). But, how about a calculator for our future worth, I mean, our spiritual worth, after death, any thoughts bro/Sis? Well I have the calculator for you, it is easy to compute, after entering couple of facts, you will immeidately see your place in the next life. Because you are still here, you can use the UNDO button of this calculator and reset it so that you are on the right track again. It is like traveling to the future, coming back and correcting your mistakes. First Function: Location Finder First Function : To calculate your location in the day of judgement : 1. Enter the ten top important things to you in this life. 2. Answer: Your location in the day of judgement is relative to where you have placed Allah in your list of important things. For example, if in the calculator you have entered Allah in # 7, in the day of judgement, your location will be # 7, relative to other people who placed Allah as # 1., fair enough. If Allah's demands was not in your list of important things, then, your calculator will show ERROR, because Zero in the denominator generates error. Second Function: Path Simulation. You see, your compliance with Allah's commandments is called SIRAADUL MUSTAQEEM. ( The Straight Path) meaning the shortest path that will take you to Allah SWT. There is another Path in the day of Judgement, it is called ( AL SIRAAD) The Path. In the day of judgement, all of mankind will walk on this path toward their final hmoe or jail. Walking on this path is not easy, for starters, it is razor sharp, below the path is balzing fires of hell, hanging on its sides are hooks proportional to your sins committed in this life, so whenever you commit a sin, an error record is generated on your record and a corresponding hook which is proportional to that sin is placed along the path of the day of judgment, that hook will have your name written all over it, and if you do not repent from that specific sin, it will catch up with you when you least expect it and throw you in the pit of fire. So you need a lot of ballance as you walk along this thin and sharp path, so 1. If you were balanced in this life's Path, you will be balanced on that Path in the day of judgement, 2. If you were firm on following the commandments of Allah in this lifes path, Your feet will be firm on that path in the day of judgment, you will not slip and slide away. 3. If you were responsive to the demands of Allah SWT in this Life, The Path will be responsive to your movement, you will move on it like a lightening, on the other hand, if you were reluctant or hesitant to respond to Allah's demands in this life, you will crawl like a beetle on the Path of the day of judgement and good people will be passing you right and left. How much is this calculator you may ask. This calculator is absolutely free. This calculator is handy, easy to use, and it guaranteed to work for you, I have enough quantities to ship, but you may not have enough time to live, so I advice you order your copy today, if you have an interest in a better life than the current one. If you are satisfied with current life and do not see the point in thinking about life after death, you need no order, just stay chill'n. Please submit your order on this thread, the calculator will be shipped to you as soon as I hear from you. Simply The Best ( Like all other Nomads) Wiilo sis Before embarking on a pseudo-Fatwa on yout aspirations of club wielding crowd fighting Mulim police woman and a female version of a Cofe Anan, let us look at the our religions vision for life on earth, afterwards we would have to allign our endeavors to aid our faith, not like other faiths who are made to follow the whis of their nominal followers. Unlike how they say, "a woman's place is in the House, and the Senate" , Our faith, Islam divides roles for the sexes by assigning men to do the most physically demanding jobs, while women do the most mentally demanding jobs. Most successful men in history are like parrots, they only repeat what their mothers taught them as kids, ( If we exclude George Bush Senior, who made a mistake by saying that he wouldnt eat his Broccoli since he is the President of the most powerful Biological Colony Known as USA_) So, since men and women have different roles in society, Women wi do well in areas that require emotional intelligence ( which most men lack) while men excel in problem solving skills ( since they are responsible creating them in the first place). So, if your passion for joining the police force is based on a desire to enforce the law, As a woman you can raise a good citizen who willl not have to be policed, because the answer fro rising crime is not more police and prisons, rather more family values and faith which you can volunteer to do as a mother, and the more good citizens you can raise the better. As for Wiilo The UN is the most corrupt organization on earth, they consume the most resources that were earmarked for the poor, in the news, while hundreds of Iraqi kids were dying during the Embargo, Kofe Anan s realtives and friends were making millions in kickbacks managing the Bic Mac for Oil Program in which Iraq oil was being stolen Ali Baba style. So, if you want to help the disadvantaged people around the world consider becoming like the Muslim vesrion of Mother Theresa". For starters, this Summer you go to Somalia, help with sanitation, childcare, education of Somalis, you set up your own " Wiilo Benevelonce Center" and let Nomads know which Xawaalad to send their contribution for your work, so that 90% of the procedes reaches the needy people, women and children ( The UN delivers less than 15 cents for everydollar they spend on their phony programs, the rest goes to maintain their extravagant lifestyle) Caaqil The Dameer Development Business is an excitng business, a lot of our people would need your services, The Dameer can be trained, I wonder if some of our people can be? Allah u baahne bro Since you have not read my writeps, this one is one of the oldest posts (4 years), when I was a regular at Snet before my defection to SOL. Initially I wanted to complete the series by beginning with Prophet Noah all the way to the Hegira and the Islamic era, but I gave up due to time constraints. Rayaana sis Where is sister Lateefah? Diamante walaal Thanks for clarifying; This woman should seek justice, according to Quraan, a counsel from her side and a counsel from his side should sit together in finding a solution. If a violent threat is proven to be true, and the character of the man makes it believable that he would walk his talk, it would be advisable that she seeks divorce as her safety and that of her kids are very important. If she resides in a Muslim country, and if the parties fail to agree to grant this woman the divorce, a Muslim Qaadi (judge) has the power of granting her a Khulc ruling for a divorce after examining the evidence and the situation in depth. Salafi bro Thanks for the post Maymoona sis Hold your horses. As I have read elsewhere, gelatin, the substance in discussion is produced from boiling bones, the skin and ligament tissues of animals, these animals are the pig, cows and sheep, cows and sheep in the USA are killed in four different ways, a chemical killing by choking the animal with carbon dioxide, electrical, and mechanical ways by either a striking the animal with a sharp object to the head or a bullet. before we rush to an expedient answer to the Sharia's position on th consumption of gelatin and similar foods, let us first understnd the substance's source, effect of its chemical or phyisical transformation on the ruling of its default state status and the admissibility of analogies made by the Sheikh above to make gelatin halal for a Musilm's consumption. First Allah SWT says: "If you dispute on a matter, refer it to Allah ( Quraan) and the prophet ( Sunnah) The Messenger of Allah SAWS said The Halaal( permissible) is clear and the Haraam (forbidden)is Clear, and in between there are grey areas ( Shubuhaat) whomsoever takes precaution against the shubuhaaat (grey areas), has indeed protected his/her faith. It was reported that the Msseneger of Allah SAWS said to the effect that every King has Ximan ( No Tresppassing Zones) and Allah's Ximan ( No Trespassing zones ) are his Maxaarim, (forbidden things), so by getting close to these grey areas, one risks crossing the zone. Does Yellow traffic light mean slow down or speed up? The companions of the prophet used to avoid 9 out of ten of halal items to steer clear for fear of falling on haraam area. A good treatment of this issue will require: 1. Discussion on legality of eating meats slaughtered by non Muslims, Polytheists, and the people of the book (Christians and Jews). 2. Eating of meats killed by un Islamic method, or animals that died naturally and the use of their meats and hydes or their wool ( vitamin D3 in Milk) in edible foods as an additive as in Milk. 3. The ruling of the hides of dead animals for non edible use. 4. The ruling of using Pig meat for other purposes, such as beauty, shampoo, etc. and its skin and its gelatin. 5. The validity of using analogy of wine and vineger to compare Pig meat and gelatin. We shall discuss these in depth inshAllah in the near future. Nur ------------------------------------------------- Viewers in Kurtunwaarrey, Somalia, and Ijaara, Gabilley Somaliland and vicinities need not worry about these foods.

Ukhtee Xanaan Baarakallahu feeki, I was quite moved by your dilemma, you are well on your way taking lifes "live tests" barely before tying the knot. I feel sorry for the brothaz on this board who are biting their figernails, but InhaAllah, Allah will bless them with other sources of kindness ( Hanaan). Your decision to get married is right, dont look back, and pursuing medicine as a woman is a great sacrifice and a life long mission to relieve the pain of the sick, and Kurbah, likewise Allah will relieve your Kurbah in the day of Judgement. Although phyisicians make a lots of money, their lifelong dedication, long work hours and pressure on their families take a toll, without a solid purpose, and conviction, it is difficult to chose it over other fun and less demanding careers. There is an acute shortge in Muslim communities of female OB-gynecologots and paediatricians, if you volunteer to study medicine for that purpose, you would be in state of worship Ibadah eight hours a day in adddition to your regular worship of Allah. As for your question about family planning, before we answer this question let us have a look at the Shaaric's ( Lawmaker, Allah) qasd (intention) from these laws. The Sharia ( Jurisprudence)is made to protect 1. The Faith. (Al Deen) 2. The Sanctity of Human life 3. The Sanctity of Human dignity 4. The sanctity of human property The Caqeedah ( Guides the Sharia) in terms of: 1. Source of Rizq ( sustnance) 2. Source of Happiness ( Sacaadah) 3. Source of Satisfaction and fulfillment ( Redaa ul nafs) Based on the above: Marriage is the union of two souls, and bodies to celebrate life and thus faith, which is the worship of Allah. The Qasd (Driver and intention) from marriage is first and foremost procreation, so each and everyone of us relays the torch of life to heirs to keep the planet populated for the worship of Allah. Mariage planning considering the above logic is reenforcing the Qasd, since spawning a child every 9 months can produce a result opposite to the the Sharias intention and moral of the law that encourages procreation. Therefore we consider family planning as an aiding option and only from that point of view, not from fear of poverty ( King of Brunei has 4 wives and 30 Billion dollars, and some Somali couples with no children cant make ends meet, husband is away earning money and wife is waiting!) So, Family planning can be slippery if we are not careful. 1. Contraceptives without spermicide are analoguous to CAZL (Withdrawal)concept in Islam, it is pemissible. 2. Diaphram is Questionable ( Shubha) 3. The pill is a health risk in addition to its being a greater Shubhaa if not outright haraam. 4. Bio-Rhythem, fertlity cycle management through tempteture detection is by far the best. Wallahu Aclam. Nur

Juba you write "overall, gossip is usually spurred by jealousy, hate, anger and mostly a harmless slip of the tongue." Great analyses, a slip of the tongue is more damaging than a slip of the feet, the latter brakes bones, but the the slip of the tongue can break up a relationship, a marriage, a nation like ours. Nur

Diamante walaal I am sorry to hear such a sad story, before we consider your question, is there a way we can discuss the reason for the problem that casued the estragement and breajup? Caaqil bro Success in life and aakhira is achieved by what we do,( which we have control) not what we are( which we don not control), Somalis are the only nation on earth I know of that takes tribalism to a level not even pre-Islamic Arabia had thought of. The problem of Tribalism in Somalia is embedded in the notion that good character is based on origin and tribe, so if you are Reer Qurac, you are good, but if you are Reer Qansax or Reer Galool, you are despicable, so, we are back at Character Assasination in wholesale. ( The thread was meant to address retail Character assasination ) The funny thing is that I bet that you will not find a single Somali Maryooley whose tribal affiliation does not include at least 30-40 percent of the "Other" bad tribe he defames and attacks their Character. Which shows you that he is made of 40 percent "bad tribe" origin. And because we are paternal tribalists, can you imagine if we declare a new and more rigorous way to prove our tribes by only recognizing our maternal side how many of your close tribal relatives would become your enemies? It will be interesting if Nomads recalculated their tribes based on their maternal side only! The Prophet SAWS was reported as saying roughly " Man yubdi bihi camaluhu, lam yusric bihi nasabuhu" He whose performance" worldly and for Akhirah) slows him down, his speed to catch up is not compensated for by his tribal linneage" Nur

Caaqil bro Just to draw your point towards the issue at hand, whenever these delegates in these conferences disagree, its expected that they defame their respective adversaries in unjust way without thinking that by acting with such poor Islamic akhlaaq, of spreading lies, they are acting contrary to the tenets of the faith they claim to be working to propogate. If the wadaad is acting contrary to the Islamic akhlaaq, how can we blame Nomads congregating at politics section? Nur

Charisma Its often close family or friends who hurt most as they know about you what strangers do not know, once they paint you with any character like " she is short tempered" would be friends keep their distance, the cost literally being socially prohibitive just because some evil driven family member told on you, or a friend my spread after a dispute that you are "unreliable" which may reach your boss just before your promotion. Gossip is a serious crime in terms of its long term cost to the victim, you can leave a permananent scar on a good persons profile for life without realizing what you have done to them. Our dignity and self worth is the most valuable asset we have in our lifetime, by damaging others dignity we are committing a crime of gigantic proportions, even worse then cold blooded murder, because to live tainted with a false character is far worse than to die with your dignity in tact. Rayana sis I have written a topic about politicians on the politics section, after you read you would know that politicians are beyound help in their own backyard, Politics is synonymous with lies, opportunism, character assasination, greed, dirty tricks and the list goes on. So, I am not comcerned for these Nomads, I am concrned with Wadaads, and you would be surprised to know that despite the wadaads knowledge of the dangers of gossip, character assasination remains a favorite passtime im many Masjids and religious gatherings. It hurt me many at time to hear a friend discounting another as " Wuu fudud yahay " when in effect he was because he took his remarks lightly while in the eyes of allah they are severe. Ameenah sis you write: "I always wonder of how one who is subjected to such deals with the situation. My reaction is ignore and cut-off those who have this tendency " Sister Majority of people whose Character was severely attacked are not even aware of what is being spread about them, up until one day one of their enemies slanders them with that false Character, that is why your " enemies " are more useful then your " friends " because your " enemies " would let you know what your " friends " are saying about you. And that is if you are still alive! Caaqil bro BaarakaAllah feek walaal, many people miss the essence of our faith which is about improving human relationships, be it family, friends or society, the verses you have quoted are the best safeguard Allah revealed that we do not violate the sanctity of others rights and dignity, our tongue if left uncontrolled can damage more than an invading army, have you ever thought about why the area in the brain that controlls the tongue is so huge compared to other organs control centers? NGONGE bro One of the conditions for a statement to be considered to be gossip, is for the subject person to feel annoyed, or does not accept the allegation. I have yet to meet a person in politics who thinks politicians are honsest, or that politics is not about dirty tricks. But ineed, if one makes a blanket statement like " all of reer qansax are so and so," then, it is very serious due to the weight of the allegations that touches on many people. Nur

Simply The Best you write: " barasho horteed ha i nicin ". Indeed, simply the best! Walaal, waad ku mahadsantahay maahmaahda wanaagsan. You see, walaalo, there are three evil ways that people take care of their opponents: 1. They physically harm them, or eliminate them 2. They poison the well, by casting doubts on their supporting materials and sources or intentions. 3. They Go after their Character, character assasination, in which they spread negative image to those who have most respect for them, slowly drying up their pool of friends to make them lonely and paint them as not trust worthy. May be in our lives, we have been the victim, may be we were the culprit, anyway, it is an issue we need to face up to and address it in light of our faith. Nur

A Non-Exhaustive List of Muslim Scholars, Recognize Them!!!!
Nur replied to Salafi_Online's topic in General
Salafi bro Your reason for the choice of four scholars links are accepted. To reflect that notion, it would be scholarly fair to change title of your post to " A non Exhaustive list of Muslim Scholars who have benefited the Ummah" When I say the Islamic scholar of all time and suggest Ibn Taimia, of course it is a suggestion, but suggesting Sufyaan al Thowri in comparison for that title needs an explanation. Sufyaan was definetly a pious scholar of his time, but when we rank scholars we rank them according to set number of criteria, in objective way, as an example only: 1. His piety, sincerity and firm convictions 2. Depth of Knowledge, analyses , and contributions to time tested theories ( Qawaacid Cilmiyyah) 3. Diversity of and scope of topics he covered with convincing command. 4. Number of publications and their readership 5. His effect on preserving Islamic aqeedah and Sunnah. Once we set the criteria in that way, we can rank all scholars of Islam to recognize their contribution, and hence their ranks. Nur -
An e-Nuri Point of view about Music and Dancing First Release To Somaliaonline. Dancing Fever! Ever wondered why certain people move with the rythem of music unconsciously? Have you ever seen men and women dancing on a Discotheque platform surrounded with loud music and light effects? Once the Music and the motion begins, their blood boils with lust and passion for each other, and the evening is not over until a lot of drinks are consumed and an orgy of sexual activities is either planned that evening or executed on site like animals. Guess, what is causing this phenomena? Allah SWT says in the Quraan: " Alam tara annaa arsalnal shayaatiina, calal kaafiriina ta' uzzuhum azzaa" " Haven't you noticed that we have sent the devils to the unbelievers who shake them ( away from righteousness) with vigorous trembling " Now , for a moment, imagine of the scene of a disco in a " Modern" country. Freeze that picture in your imagination and close your eyes. In few seconds, we are going to fly you to a remote village somewhere in on the globe. Now open your eyes; What do you see? No, you are wrong, this is not the museum of natural history, the evolution and it is after math, primitive enclaves of tribal habitats and an encient religious ritual. Try again. No, No, you are not in California's Universal Studio's movie set depicting a village in the land of Waaq Waaq. You give up? OK, This is a remote Somali village, in the Somali Baadiye, but I bet you are wondering, who is that man beating the drum? And who is this woman who is dancing to the drum beats? And who are these folks encircling the dancing woman with candle lights with the special scents ( Cadar iyo Cuud)? This cerimony, depending on the part of the disintegrated Somali peninsula you happen to come from, is called ( SAAR, BOORANE, LUUMBI, MINGIS, WADAADDO) etc. The man beating the drums and singing is an exorcist. The woman dancing to the tune is possesed by the devils (remember the above verse). And the folks around her are fellow possesed victims who came to pay for the sessions of axcorcism after her session is over. Now, this SAAR man is making a lotta of dough (Money$$$) every night by purging devils in and out of these women, for which they pay him hefty sums of money and sheep and, at times, they sacrifice their bodies for the pleasure of the excorcist behind the curtain when the SAAR man has to do "special Excorsism" that requires taking off her clothes in order to administer "special soul massage" to purge the devil out of private places in her body. This is how Night Clubs evolved to their present day glitter, lighting and music set up. This is a Satan's Temple, where his worshippers are shaken vigoriously ( Ta Uzzuhum Azza) to the rythem of the music, their money taken away, their dignity compromised , reduced to animal status. Allah SWT says: " Alam ac-had ileykum yaa banii adama allaa tacbudu sheitaan"? "O Children of Adam, have I not taken a covenant from you not to worship Satan"? Satan's Victims, pay to get possessed, pay to stay mentally deranged, and then pay to regain their consciousness, just to earn money to pay for their next session of the worship of Satan, and the viscious circle continues, until they die, to find out what they have always doubted. Just like in SAAR, nightclub owners, singeres and musicians make a lot of money performing their arts to a possessed crowd who are ecstatic with the mixture of sounds, sights and surroundings. ( Satan's Tools) Just like in SAAR, the woman in the center stage is surrounded by a hands clapping croud while she dances her way possessed by the devil with euphoria, displaying and shaking her body parts in a sexually inviting manner which are up for grabs by other possessed worshippers. Just like in SAAR, the victim, at the end of the ritual, is the possession of one of the devil monks who lure these young girls and boys to become their slaves, by intoxicating them and controlling them with sexual messages and music. This is the way of of Satan. And there is a better way. It is the way of surrender to your maker, NOT the suurrender to SATAN adn your passions. Allah has honored you, and made you superior to Satan. Why wosrhip your enemy who is envious of your special status in the Kingdom of Allah SWT.? Why not free your self, and begin to think about your purpose on eath. It is no fun working hard and nit getting paid, worse yet, earning your own punishment at the end because you spent all your life without a purpose, and you died without knowing why you were on earth, it is like taking a train unmindful of were it takes you, and suddenly finding yourself in a horror town, now all fun is over, and the price of your carelessness is is looming in the horizon. Many ailment are caused by Satan, in the Quraan Allah SWT narrates the story of Prophet Ayuub ( JOB) saying: " Innii massaniya sheitaanu bi nusbin wa cadaab" " I have been stricken by Satan with pain and suffering" For which he sought ONLY Allah's help for acure,, not the devils cure. No matter how much fun you have had, or good times you've enjoyed, a time will come for sure when you can not savor the memories of good old days anymore, the pleasure is gone, and depemding on how much illegal pleasure you've had, an equivalent balancing regimen of pain is awaiting for you. Your Dancing Fever on earth, has earned you an everlasting fever that will never go away. Allah SWT says : " A fa ra' ayta in mattacnaahum siniin, thumma jaa' ahum maa kaanuu yuucaduun, maa aghnaa can hum maa kaanuu yumattacuun" " Let us say, we have pleased them with a joyful ( life) for many years, and then, the ( horror) of what they were warned about is finally administered to them, ( Now) how does their past pleasures offset ( the pain and suffereing of the punishment they found themselves in)? Use your head, while you are ......ahead! Nur 2003 Nurtel Communications Paradise is Possible Summer Campaign

e-Nuri Social Services Presents Character Assasination You have always meant good, dealt honestly with friends and family, somehow, you have always been misunderstood, making you even more frustrated. You've always felt that " you know them, but they dont know you" but your day in court is due, but may not be in this lifetime! Word goes around fast labling you with malicious descriptions of character, and as time goes by, the lie takes a life of its own, you have been put in a box, even people who have not met you have a prejudice against you for no fault of your own. It takes only a single person to spread a lie, once the lie is in the air, people fish for that chartacteristic about you in all of your actions, and they view you with suspicion from the start. The more you try to fight the allegation, the more believable it becomes, suddenly, you find yourself in a Rodney Dangerfield world of no respect, no matter what. We Muslims take a credit for every Character assasination we participate in by way of believing or passing of gossip, " Xanta ". We may have altered lives of great people, we may have denied many people to listen to them after we have circulated false allageation or by exaggerating these allegations to poison a well. In this thread, let us treat this social problem together as there are many Nomads out there who may benefit by taking control of their life, and dignity. Your sincere thoughts on the above are highly appreciated. Nur

A Non-Exhaustive List of Muslim Scholars, Recognize Them!!!!
Nur replied to Salafi_Online's topic in General
Salafi bro The list Islamic scholars that you have endorsed and are encouraging viewers to recognize begins with webpages of contemporary prominent scholars, however, it is not organized in anyway to reflect the weights of these scholars and area of knowledge or their leaderships nor depth and number of publications they have written and the effect their work had on Islamic Knowledge throughout the ages. High-lighting the first four scholars by leading viewers to their websites and then silverlining the list with Sheikh Rabeec Madkhali and starting again with Ibn Taymia as a distance fifth gives viewers a glimpse of how you prioretize Muslim scholars, and right after Ibn Taymia, we go through an intellectual time-tunnel to reappear in our century with a line of scholars that seem to give a questionable notion of the basis of their selection, not showing ranking indicators of the amount of genuine Islamic publications of the overall landscape of Islamic knowledge they have produced. For example; Ibn Taymia died at the ripe age of 35, averaging 22 pages of text per day all his 35 years if we only count the books that were not destroyed by the Tartars and Genkis Khan. Ibn Tayimia alone produced more original work that all of those in the list combined. In comparison, compare him with Sheikh Bin Baaz who died in old age after a long service of islam, but with limited literary contribution compared to Ibn Taimia. From that distance time, Islam produced great minds of knowledge all the way throughout time up until our present time, the libraies in Cairo, Beirut, Baghdad, Zeituna, Lucknow, and many knwoledge centers have all rare books that show bright islamic scholarts who have contributed immense portion of our understanding of our faith in addition to scholars in the peninsula which you have devoted almost all of your recommendations. To lump sum these scholars in a single list leaves a lot to be desired, and leaves great many questions in our minds. for example if you have written your list as follows: 1. Overall greatest scholar of Islam of all time: Sheikh Ibn Taymia ( he even wrote about medicine) 2. The greatest writer of Tafseer ( Al Tabari ) 3. The best source of cilmul Hadeeth ( Ibn Salaah) 4. The Best source for Maqaasidul Shariica, Al Muwaafaqaat by Al Shaatibi, Xujjatul Islam Al Baaligha, Dahlawi etc 5. Best source of Fiqh ( Al Umm by Shaafici etc) 6. The best source of Tawheed ( Ibn Taymia ) 7. Best treatment of the soul ( Ibn Qayyim, Ibn Xajar, Ghazaali) As a students of ( Al Cilmul Sharci), we need to become impartial in seeking knowledge, and as ALI RA said ( recognize scholars by xaqq, do not recognize Xaq by relying on men ). The only criteria with which we separate truth from falshood being the Quraan and Sunnah, and understanding them with a contemporary mindframe to solve our problems and be guided by the Salaf as Salihs system of checks and balances for the aquisition of knowledge for safety. I advice that you rearrange the list and produce a list that can win you the credibility of an impartial student of Islamic education ( Taalib Cilm), I was amazed that Ibn Qayyim did not make your list! and that was only one of my favorite Sheikhs, can you imagine how many other Nomads you let down Your brother Nur -
Charisma Well put, and we should all start with oursleves first. Unlike the children of Israel who were given the title of the best ummah, or the chosen people before us, Muslims should realize that the title comes with commitments to Allah and fellow man, if we succeed, we rightfully retain that title, otherwise, we become like donkeys carying volumes of books of wisdom.
