  1. ^^Just like how you support the practice of gerrymandering to gain disproportionate power in Burco, You really think the clans in east Burco is bigger than those that reside on the west-side (population wise)?
  2. ^^ The President is the one who was alleging all of that, is not me, you're making no connection.
  3. ^^ I still think he'll be a better President than the current one. Silanyo who has been complaining for 5 years about a lot of things he accused the UDUB party were doing when they were in power, just to do those same things when he became president (sabotaging the media). A President who got in between NEC business (apparent conflict of interest) the process of drawing electoral boundaries in Burco.

Never ever elect anyone not a learned wadad, a long-term philanthropist, an anti-corruption crusader/activist or at the very least an humble clinician (an intellectual wadad/DR is best though a bit like Dr Morsi in Misr). Dr Gaboose had no real chance, really, both Norf and Jac peoples disliked him strongly. I don't think he can be a president for the whole country. Ummada voters should be going over to Wadani next.

Ileen af aadan lahayn ma qabatid.. We're all clanists at the end of the day then, right? Your clan shouldn't mean anything to you, you should be on the winning side (whichever the winning side it may be) form strategic alliances.

  8. Poor guy looks uneasy, like they put the gun on him and demanded that he speak to the camera - pool full of sharks, swimming for his life. But it takes a true man to apologize, Good for him.
  9. Attention.......I'll be banned if I were to say it. His as annoying as his cousin Jac, somebody tell this grown man to take a seat somewhere.

Sadly and contrary to the wider perception that's Somaliland's democracy is peace and development in the region it represents insecurity, fear, death and a curse for the communities in those regions. puntland pirates are trying hard to obstruct democracy

  12. ^^ I'm in indifferent, we all want to see the triumph of democracy in SL. I would like the ruling party not to win it again though.
  13. N.O.R.F;890363 wrote: The NEC is doing nothing wrong and is going by previous results. Not their fault some areas decided not to vote in the last elections. Of course they're doing nothing wrong to Norf The people had their reasons why they abstained from voting at election time, surely NEC could have used a different method. What they have done is marginalized a major sub-clan, that's why they're going back to the drawing board and trying to fix this ****** thing.

The barefaced reality will always be obvious where loyalty will be placed. The opening of multiple parties was a calculated risk that only encouraged disabling and denigrating politics of sub-clan.It only galvanized and radicalized the people into viewing politics from sub-clan angle. People are much more attuned to siding with their sub-clans.They should restrict the parties to only three maximum Good post, I agree totally.
  15. N.O.R.F;890276 wrote: Why didn't they vote in 2010? . You should be saying that's a no way to draw-up electoral boundaries, we all know that you're a big fan of the President, but c'mon. And Odewayne was questioning a while ago why the sub-clan was meeting in Erigavo last summer.

Report by Progressio ....... http://www.progressio.org.uk/blog/ground/somaliland-elections-everything-fine-except-when-it-not That's some crazy sh!t, unbelievable....How long are the HY going to accept this?
