Saalax;992245 wrote: Latest news the police officer has refused to be transfered to Zeylac in defiance, he said he is not going anywhere and will stay in Burco and doesn't want to hold any position in Siilaanyo's government anymore. And rightfully so, he should not go anywhere. Burco is his home, his family is in Burco, and he wants to serve his people in Burco.

I think the regions should elect their own governors and mayors. I don't like the idea of Hargaisa deciding the affairs of Sanaag or any other region, the constitutional powers needs amendment ASAP, the regions deserve more powers.

1. For a man to die over the sacking of a Police chief waa ayan daro, hopefully the authorities/community leaders are able to defuse the situation quickly. 2. This president should really learn to stop engaging in activities that might create the perception for a Conflict of Interest, he has a long history of doing this bs. 3. I'm also really disappointed in Warracade, Silanlyo uses the the interior ministers (who are always HY) as his foot soldiers. 4. I find the none-Somalilanders discussing Somaliland internal affairs annoying (I don't know why)

Somaliland set to usher in major multi million port investment

Xaaji Xunjuf;990665 wrote: Ofcourse there are concerns the amount of investments what company should it be leased to how will it be managed for how long, berbera has allot of potential its located in a very strategic place. Maybe foreigners are able to manage it better? I say we give the lease to a reputable port managing company ( a short lease, maximum 10 years) under the conditions that they hire locals only so that a smooth knowledge transfer can occur when their lease is up. -

This is a non-profit organization ('m guessing) and you're dedicating a lot of time in this project (so it seems) how do you plan to cover the operations/maintenance cost of the facility? The construction of Somaliland national library is taking place now, are you working with them?

I suggest you guys share as little as possible about yourself on this public forum, Somalis are typically nosy and nasty people - if you don't want people to know your business be as vague as possible and avoid the cross-examination style questions.

Peter Raymond is known Somali christian? That's a first - the man is a private man, and his family is extremely private, his not a public figure, so refrain from typing his name, you have no idea who he is and who he is related to. Night

Safferz;987667 wrote: lol you know the guy behind it all? Is he responsible for the Christianity of historical Somalis like Michael Mariano, Anthony James, Peter Raymond, etc too? Out of curiosity, where did you get Peter Raymond name from? Do you know who his family is?

Haatu;987212 wrote: AfricaOwn is such a tribalist. I reject that claim. In other news, the HA are protesting my government, they say that is not representative. I gave the Gar-and the mother-love members high positions, but as far as we know, Alpha is the only representative from the HA family. I will do something to correct this in the near future.

Since I don't contribute much, I'll just share my thoughts on few cats here: Ibtisam : She’s a critic, always seems to be preaching Alpha: Jumps around for attention often like a dhocil. Often sits on the fence when it comes to debates. He is also a self-proclaimed "culture critic", but this dude is far from that. Safferz: Exhibits an attitude of being superior because she’s not a “douchebag and a moron” like the rest. Has Extreme liberal values and often relies on social science research heavily. Apophis: Perhaps too smart for his own good that believe in God is over his head like a bulimic on a seesaw? But aside from that, I would say his someone that’s not easily fooled by the propaganda that’s spread by the liberals. Wadani: Cosigns often, he needs to develop his own arguments, but aside from that, his my sand-dwelling cousin Talaabo: Often follows around Safferz, I’m beginning to think they’re the same people? Or is this guy a sucka for love? DoctorKennedy: I like this brother, we’ll agree to disagree on Somaliland.
