It is a silly question you have asked bro, i would expect this sort of question from the western media but not from an informed bro who knows the reality.........disappointing to say the least.

Peace Caravan v1.1: The coming of the Somali Republic!
Miskin replied to xiinfaniin's topic in Politics
Boys and Girls, As the young generation of this land would you not rather discuss solutions and ways to reconcile rather then support and advocate for this group and that group. The issue here shouldn't be about showing supports but about discussing ideas on how to raise this country from the ashes. I am sure if you put your bright young heads together you will come up with some meaningful ideas. so put your heads to good use!!!! Cheers -
Bro, Who's they? There are no losers in this agreement. We Somalis are all winners if this agreement prevails and (it will insha-allah). I think this agreement is the begining of the end of our troubles insha-allah Lets be optimistic and hope for the best. Cheers

Bro, Do you think Somaliland is immune to this evil exercise. Just a question -
Guyrs, I am strugling to see who is making some sense here.... you all seem to be 'Qabiil oriented'. Peace

Ladies, remember "you get out what you give in" I f you are romantic and encaurage your hubby to be kind and romantic he will respond. But equally if you nagg and yell he will also respond by running to MAQAAYAD and the like. So stop complainig and act Peace

Is there a valid contract here, is Puntland authority a recognised representative of the Somali people (Or even Planders themselves), I think not. To have a legally binding contract one needs to have the vested authority to act. I don't beleive there a valid contract here, and once a unilaterally recognised central authority is born contracts signed with tribal leaders (like this) will be either be withdrawn or renegotiated. Peace

Guys, The young and educated Somalis don't want to get involved in politics, why are you so surprised when these old guys are named. Miskin
-
Roobleh, I don't think Somalis have learned anything from the recent past. If they did things would have improved. I also do not think Clan elders, so called Politicians have the desire to change things. WE NEED YOUNG NATIONALISTS........ What do you say???

Lucky *******!!!!

There is a part of me that wishes that you never shared this topic with us, but then again why not......Shows our sick mentality. Ppl talk about alternative and ways forward and all we do point fingures and condemn others. Time to wise up i guess. miskin

Shite, can you ppl not write in English
-
I agree with some of your point Brov, but the border issue is far from being resolved!!
-
HOLD ON GUYS. This sound too personal to me so i wont get involved. But iw ill tell this, Pland, Sland or whatever else they call them selves are all clan based entities. So stop being childish and argue your points as mature ppl do. You dont have to agree but be sivilised when getting your points across. REMEMBER ...... NO PERSONAL ATTACKS, NO NAME CALLING, E.T.C. Sounds more of a dream than a reality. No one in their right mind will say the TFG is perfect, but hey lets face it is he best we had for the past decade. I heard (if i am not wrong) that it is the only so-called governemnt that all the different Somalis have some sort of representation. Miskin

Abu, Khalaf and others. I though the question referred to the present day. Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Mali, Chana, Nigeria, South Africa.................. We can list as many countries as we want but can we really say they are properous societies free from injustices, corruption, marginalisation and bad governance. Don't tell me the history of thing coz that means nothing at this present moment. The fact of the matter is we blacks are as capable as evryone else but somehow not delivering.

Ibs, There are many Somali organisations in London and infact in other parts of the country (not sure how active they are). I have heard people have already tried to unify these Somali organisations but to no avail. If i were you i wouldn't waste time in trying to unify them coz they will never br unified. Instead i would try and create one from scratch (Dont know how?). Also i think you will need a lot of help so get as many people involved as you can. G Luck
