Ok...this guy is a liar...a bad liar for that case and I'm not convinced his so-called conversion to Islam one bit because the most maximum security jails in S.A including the one he's in are basically run by Muslim gangs mainly from Cape Town...now can you picture him having a chat with his Muslim cellmate and saying...'Oh you know what...I killed couple of THINGS that were Muslims? Believe me he wouldn't last a day in there and oh yeah he doesn't need to confess or confide in if you like...they would still find it out one way or another...so I'm not convinced one bit that this guy is actually a Muslim. Secondly...this so-called Dispatch is a provincial weekly newspaper and its Editor used to be a Xhosa guy who disliked Somalis with passion so I don't know if they still have the same editor and if they do then they're probably doing this for publicity...just to 'Prove' that they've got nothing against Somalis. These so-called gangsters are nothing but bunch of cowards because a real gangster doesn't hide under his mother's bed after comitting a murder, a real gangster wouldn't shoot an un-armed guy in the back and a real gangster wouldn't need to take drugs and a handful of guns just to rob a loose change off a guy who has nothing but a knife...! in S.A every tribe has its own city and town and Eastern Cape Province (Port Elizabeth and East London etc) Western Cape (Capetown) is where you find Xhosa tribe which is also the tribe of Mandela and Thabo Mbeki and almost every famous black South African that you've ever heard...now let's say a foreigner comes to live in your neigbourhood who opens and runs a small but successful business while you're broke and unemployed..then one day you and your mates decide to rob him but since you are coward...you don't have the guts to stand in front of him and demand money...so you resort to killing him first then rob him afterwards...now people can see and they always do but what if those people happen to be your aunt, uncle, your mother's best friend, your father's drinking mates etc...the most distant person to you happens to be your tribesmen/women...do you really think I will be caught by my relatives for killing an outsider? hence him saying 'NOBODY CARED'. One more thing...S.A waxaa monopoly ku heesto Xhosa who isn't even the largest tribe...that honour belongs to the Zulu nation who are the most peaceful people that I have known for more than 12 years but they are made to look the worst through the media thanks to their evil Xhosa cousins...I've lived in every major town or city in S.A and I have picked few words from the official 11 languages that S.A has including Xhosa but I've never felt unsafe until I came to live amongst the Xhosas marka my point is...being an African qabiil waa lagu yaqaan...now imagine when your tribesmen run the country including the justice system...what is the chance of you doing time by killing a bloody outsider? What I don't like about our people waa very naive...I've never met a newcomer that I didn't warn about going to the Townships (Ghettos) without being armed...meel waxee tagayaan meel baadiye ah oo aan even leheen Hospital ama aad ugu gurman karin because gawaari ma geli karto meesha waa ciriiri...I always tell them to stay in the city laakiin wuxuu maqlayaa hebloow baa lacag sameeyay and then he goes there without plan a,b or even c markaas baad maqleysaa hebloow waa la dilay intii yareed uu wateyna waa laga furtay... I AGREE waxaa jira kuwo dulli ah oo gabdhaha ka waxeeya...marbaa waxaa naloogu yeeray anagoo dhowr Soomali ah gar...mid soomali ah ayaa waxey dheheen gabar 15 jir ah ayuu naga kufsaday...gabartii markaan wareesanay waxeyba ku leedahay wiilka waan jeclahay mana uu ikufsan ee waalidkeey ayaa waxaa igula taliyeen inaan wuu i kufsaday dhaho si aan lacag uga helno...bal maxaa iisoo arkay extortion iyo blackmail...marka wee iska jiraan kuwo gabdhahooda ku heysta oo daaya aan laga karin but as always the most guys prefer Abaayo macaan to Sisi...lol Soomaalida ugu lacag badan Johannesburg ayey daganyihiin oo ah the commercial city of S.A now the day I hear a Somali is being shot in Johannesburg and robbed is the day I would really begin to worry about the safety of our people because that's where the m00ryaanta soomaalida ay joogaan...hadee xiniinyo leeyihiin kuwaas ee utagi lahaayeen...meesha aan Johannesburg ka dagganahay waxaa la dhahaa Mayfair...we run that place...meeshaas madoowga wee ka cabsadaan oo waxee ku leeyihiin soomaali waalan aa joogto...my point is Mukulaal Mininkeeda Joogto Miciyo Libaax ee leedahay...I await the day aan ka tala bixi doono Ghettos kooda because I swear I don't know what people see in there as they don't even make as much as those who are in the city...war anigaa aadi lahaa hadee meesha lacag aan nafta halis ugu galiyo ooli leheed but it's not worth it and I know it because I once had a business in a town near Port Elizabeth and East London called Queenstown and those brothers who were my customers always used to complain about the lack of business and some of them anigoo weli deen ku leh ayeey iska guureen... PS. Don't laugh...S.A life sentence is actually 25 years so there's every chance this guy would be out in 5 years now how many of you want to bet that this guy would be lucky to last in the first 48hrs of his release thanks to his big mouth? Peace, Love & Unity. Peace, Love & Unity.

Cabdoow...I warned you against posting your pic on SOL...rag feero dooro leh aa feero ugu faanee...maxaa laguu daba geli waayey...let's face it...guys simply envy you my brother...I told you before and I tell you again...because that's THE ONLY way they could get one over you by publicly humiliating you and making you look bad...bal maxaa uga galay hadaa Cumar ama Caasho midkaa doonto tahay ama aa la baxdo? ma iyagaa ku dhalay? shaqo la'aantii ayaa dadkaan ka badatay ee don't waste your time on apologizing because you owe anybody nothing...! 'Somalis come here to take our women and behave like this is their country – so I killed them' Convicted killer pleads for forgiveness Andile Tunzana has the blood of Somali refugees on his hands and as he sits in Mdantsane Prison serving two life sentences, he has finally told why he killed them. “We knew they had a lot of money in their shops and had no guns to fight back,” said the 26- year-old killer. He is now doing hard time for killing the refugees – who ran spaza shops near East London. “We shot those who tried to resist and then looked for money. No one cared for them in the township because they are grigambas.” Tunzana’s account confirms how government policy predisposes Somali refugees to become victims in a country which they hoped would offer them sanctuary. Since his conviction by the East London high court in 2006, Tunzana says he has converted to Islam – the religion of his victims – and adopted the name Ismael Junaid. It was his conversion that led to him agreeing to his jail interviews with the Daily Dispatch. We conducted hours of interviews with him as part of a four-month investigation into the killing of Somalis. We lived with Somalis to understand the hatred directed at them; we spoke to police investigators, to witnesses, survivors and independent experts. We were also present when corrupt Home Affairs officials took bribes from refugees desperate to renew their permits. The picture that has emerged is clear: Somalis become victims of crime because of state policy which provides them with limited legal protection, does not allow them to live a normal life or have access to institutions such as banks. They are left vulnerable to be preyed on by criminals and corrupt officials in communities that reject them. At the time of the murders in 2005, Tunzana was on the run, having escaped from custody while awaiting trial on another murder charge. He and his accomplices robbed and murdered Mohammed Nasier Omar and Mahamud Abdi Mohammed at their spaza shop in Mzamo Street, Duncan Village, on July 5 2005. Earlier, he had shot and wounded Mohammed Ismail on the thigh and Mashafa Muhammed in the jaw at their Mtendeni Street, Duncan Village, spaza shop and shot and wounded Daniel Dala, a security guard at a Somali- owned shop at CC Lloyd township. Tunzana said the Somali spaza shops were easy targets. “We got information they were not banking their money and, instead, were hiding it in their shops. Tunzana said they planned their attacks around the Somalis’ prayer times. They knew that while other Somalis went to pray there would be only one shopkeeper. “The Somalis were just other foreign people with money and no one cared about them.” Tunzana said on the day of their rampage they had told themselves they were going to get rid of Somalis. “Ta Ero (Eric Nanto, his accomplice) said let’s kill these things (Somalis) and get rid of them. They come here to take our women and behave like this is their country.” They showed no mercy. Buzani Nkunzana, an eye- witness to the robbery and shooting of Ismail and Muhammed, recalled what happened after Tunzana and his three accomplices stormed the spaza that afternoon. “I heard people shouting and demanding money from the Somalis. I then saw the two Somalis walking backwards and a person was pointing a gun at them.” Nkunzana saw the Somalis gunned down. Despite Tunzana’s conversion to Islam, he still refers to his victims by the derogatory amagrigamba term. “If I had taken up Islam before, I would not have robbed and killed my brothers. I hope for forgiveness now. Originally posted by Nur: If all Somalis in that region agree on the " O" name as their liberation name, I am all for it, but its difficult to restore a land to its rightful owners before restoring the original name of all of its inhabitants. Division is an advantage for the occupier, unfortunately, today we have multiple resistance organizations for the liberation of western Somalia, this division will never help, so its important to resolve the basis for which the movement serves, mainly the liberation of the land from foreign occupiers. Another problem in the waiting is, once liberation is realized, how are we going to govern these lands? Islam or Secular? These questions are not sexy, or appealing at this stage, but what I have learned from past similar movements, agreement in ideology from the start can save us from division in the future. A Somali saying has it " Nimaan kuu furi doonin, yuusan ku xidhin" Nur Brother Nuur I fully understand what you're saying as I've raised the same point to few guys from the ONLF that I've had the opportunity to meet here in S.A and they all assured me that they have invited the rest of the Somali clans in the area for dialogue so that they could find a common ground but unfortunately it never materialised and who knows maybe it's our common enemy that's preventing us from forming a united Somali party that would fight for one Somali cause after all Ethiopia seems to have mastered the art of divide and rule policy thanks to our agreement to disagree as a nation, however, make no mistake...its not only one tribe that are fighting in ONLF as many people would like you to believe...qabiil walba oo Soomaliyeed ayaa ku jira believe it or not. I have no interest in supporting a secular party after all we all know where that leads to...give me Islam and sharia anytime of the day all day as a Muslim that's no brainer because I fully understand the advantages of Sharia which is something you can never say about secularism. Allah s.w Knows Best...May Allah s.w Guide Us Through The Righteous Path Insha Allah. Peace, Love & Unity.

Most Somalis seem to have a problem with the word 'O' no matter how long you explain why the word is there and where it originated from they still come back to that same 'O' word which I find hard to understand because Ethiopian army don't rape, murder and imprison only the OG’s but Somalis as a whole and if people want to argue about a name and ignore to see the extent of what the Ethiopian army are doing to the civilians of Somali origin from that area then its unfortunate. Allah s.w Knows Best. Salam Aleikum W.W Peace, Love & Unity.

Originally posted by Nabadoon GASHADE: Bob is trying to bias us with imagine what. All players had their ups and downs, and while Ronaldo was exceptional (his peak with Barcelona), he wasn't as good as Maradona, Hagi, Roberto Baggio, and David Ginola. Grateful someone remembered Ginola. Waryaa adiga waa in Guantanamo lagu geeyaa hadaaba leedahay Ginola wuxuu ka fiicnaa Ronaldo...what has Ginola achieved in Football other than being voted Player of the year in the Premier League? Maradona is from a different planet and Roberto Baggio he was the best European #10 ever…Platini wasn’t really #10 but #9 and Zizou had great players around him in the national team as they’ve proved in 98 World Cup where they have won two crucial matches without him but could you see Italy winning any match without Baggio in 94 World Cup? They couldn’t even beat lowly Ireland without him marka I rate Baggio highly but Ginola? You must be jokin...! Hagi was good but not great because he failed in Serie A and La Liga...he seemed to play his best matches with his national team. Peace, Love & Unity.

I came to the conclusion that Benitez is rather lucky than good coach and you know what they say...I’d rather be lucky than good...because I can never understand how a guy like Kuyt can get the nod each match while Keane & Babel are sitting on the bench and only come on at the last few minutes where the match has already been decided be it win or draw. in his mind he believes that he has given both players good chance to prove themselves when in fact he hasn't...have you ever seen both of them play 90 minutes in 5 consecutive matches? If anyone he's the one that should be sacked because I can’t see Liverpool winning Premier League while he’s at the helm because he will keep on substituting Torres and put on Lucas who's another player that I believe isn't worthy to play a great club like Liverpool. The jury is still out on Scolari...let's give him few seasons and see what happens. I would sack the stingy Arsenal board instead of Wenger because they were telling us that there was Money for Wenger to spend and suddenly they’ve changed the tune and they are now saying that there’s only a limited fund for him to spend which shows you that they are two faced people who only care about making profit while the team is suffering and losing their colour which in my opinion was the main cause behind the booing of Eboue which I found disgusting to be honest and there is no excuse for such shameful acts even if we are frustrated with our team’s performance and their lack of killing teams off. Peace, Love & Unity.

Child Of War: Lost in the deafening valleys of the silence unwillingly ready to embrace the violence children crying as the frightened creatures pass by blind to this deafening & threatening sound of fear war looms and it caresses and threatens my ears it appears these tears will rip through me mindlessly but on a night like this, they'll fall and hit the floor silently simultaneously we'll cry finally famous for the night heroes on their way to heaven...heroes on their way to fight. the quietest night before the wildest day the sun sets to shine bright but then hides away lost in the gaze of the lonesome quiet moon desperately trying to escape this riot...my doom consumed in the hush that has fell all around shaking like a leaf and quivering to the ground my teeth that chatter batter the silence to infinity a metaphor for what matters, my silent misery the cold whispers of the winter blister me distant ghostly chattering of the night come visit me I’m lost in this infamy, this infantry and this destiny I listen to the sounds of the night hesitantly its quietness questions me, deafens me and pesters me helps me, hides me, guides me and blesses me I’m lost in the cold of the quietest night shivers embrace but silence takes hold, I’m alright I’m not fit to fight tonight but my ears will carry on intently right now I’m happy to die...death on the quietest of nights I know my family will mourn my demise but its my destiny. Peace, Love & Unity.
