  1. So you agree with Aristotle and believe that women are inferior to men as well? PS. Waxba ha cabsan ee runta sheeg...waan is naqaan aniga iyo adiguye..lol Peace, Love & Unity.
  2. For Abdihafid. We tell tales of joy in our days gone by in tears how cruel your fate was by dealing you a deadly hand the tears of pain burn our eyes and eat away at our soul your demise stained my pulse with sustained sorrow whose strength could I borrow to see me last until tomorrow? your sudden departure stuck a dagger into our fragile hearts you were a humble being, noble among men of honour another true friend deceased meaning life's joy decreased how I wish I find a relief and never relive the horror I can't weep in the dark and pretend to be sleep life ends in death, pity you took your last breath before I if I could elaborate, I ought to celebrate your long legacy my loyal friend & brother that merited my royal treatment blessed with the most beautiful wife that brought joy to your life a genuine father figure long before you tasted fatherhood your sweet memories flood my mind and become food to my thoughts your broad smile is what I see whenever I look at your baby even in infancy she possesses the grace of her beloved parents ever since you've been gone didn't want to come back, not in black I'm in a dark library, this action is my flashlight,my memory's books my heart pounds in confusion I can never say goodbye I grab tighter trying to hold on but the stress burns my fingers. May Allah s.w Have Mercy On Your Soul Insha Allah. Peace, Love & Unity.
  3. If you read most of Plato’s works you’ll realize that he favoured aristocracy over democracy and believed that poor people were there ONLY to serve the rich and as far as people that class are concerned his views were different. Aristotle fully believed women were INFERIOR to men and he believed that the difference between men and women is not only in quantity of their ability but also in the quality. There's a book called The Pleasure Of Philosophy but I must warn you though...if you have a weak Iman I wouldn't recommend it for you...not that I'm professing in any way that I have stronger Iman than any man or woman out there but Allah s.w knows the best. Peace, Love & Unity.
  4. Paul Kagema waa nin raggeedi ah oo Soomaalida aad u jecel show ninkuba wuxuu ahaa nin Soomaali ah. He finally found his long lost brother now he will finally come home... Peace, Love & Unity.
  5. Guys marka hore Salam Aleikum. I'm not COMPARING anyone to anyone here...I just stated that I would've given my vote as the Best Player In The World (Last Year) to Xavi because he's doing for more than what Zidane has ever done for Juventus which is create goals for your strikers. Di Livio used to provide more assists for Del Piero & Inzaghi than Zidane yet people would never give Di Livio a time. I laugh when people claim that Zidane is the most talented player of his generation...! What about Ronaldo Luiz Nazario Da Lima? Yeah Zidane is few years older than him but where was Zidane in 96,97 & 98 when Ronaldo was ABSOLUTELY the most consistent player on the planet? I know we'll never know for a fact but I higly doubt it if France could've beaten Brazil with healthy Ronaldo. As far as I'm concerned Ronaldo is the most talented player in his generation and that includes Zidane...just imagine what Ronaldo would've done and achieved had injury not plagued him. I know my brother Northerner would never accept this but that's my opinion and I stand by that comment simply because Ronaldo was MAGIC. PS. A&T...adigu meel walba ceebtaadaa loogu tagaa...bal Rooney maxaad ka doontay? they say FORM is temporary and CLASS is permanent...Messi waa wax kale sheydaanka gaaban...I can wait until people start to speculate about his age because ninkani ka weyn 22. Peace, Love & Unity.
  6. Bias comments and banters aside...in the last 25 minutes Van Persie showed us a glimpse of what we've been missing for 5 months. Man Utd COULD NOT cope without Rooney for a single week and can you imagine Chelsea without Drogba for 5 months? Liverpool with fit Torres would've challenged for the league never mind the fourth spot...that's how crucial world class goal scorers are. Spurs are a joke...no wonder they couldn't beat us for 10 years. The goal was one off...FLUKE, he could never score a goal like that even if his momma's life depended on it plus Almunia  Gggrrrrrr the less said about this clown the better. I'm glad to see Robin back...I love the guy. Peace, Love & Unity.

  8. I haven't had tears in my eyes for a long long time until I read this tragic and heart breaking story but on the other hand its amazing to know how strong this little girl's Iman is...Maasha Allah. May Allah s.w ease her suffering Insha Allah. Peace, Love & Unity.

  11. Bara’a is a 10 year old girl from Egypt. Both of her parents are doctors and have moved to Saudi Arabia for better opportunities.Bara’a is a very sweet and intelligent young girl and she succeeded to memorize the entire Quran along with its proper rules at this young age. Her small family are very religious and happy. Unfortunately, one day her mother felt a lot of pain and after some medical tests she was diagnosed with a deadly form of cancer. Then her mother began to think about her young girl’s future and about how she can tell 'Bara'a' of the devastating news. How she would wake up one day without her mother besides her. Afterward the mother decided to tell her daughter and began telling Bara'a: 'Mommy will soon be going to Heaven, ahead of you, sweet heart' She emphasized to her that she should continue reciting the Holy Quran everyday which would protect her and keep her safe in this life. At this time Bara'a could not fully comprehend what lays ahead. Soon after, she began to recognize the gravity of the matter when her mother's health deteriorated and she was admitted to the hospital. Then Bara’a began going to visit her mother at the hospital every day after school and recite the holy Quran next to her mother’s bed until late in the afternoon. She keeps doing that until her father would come from work to pick her up. One morning the hospital called the house and asked Bara'a’s father to come to the hospital immediately for his wife’s health has gone for the worse and she was near death. The father immediately took his daughter Bara’a and left for the hospital, but he did not inform his daughter what was going on with her mother. When they arrived at the hospital he thought to himself that he should leave his daughter in the car so that she would not be shocked of whatever is waiting to happen for her mother. Therefore he asked his daughter to stay in the car while he finds out more of her mother’s situation and he assured her he would be back in a few minutes. He stepped out of the car and he was very bewildered of the grim news of the fate of his wife. While he was walking away from his car Bara’a was watching him crossing then another tragedy hit; he was struck by an incoming bus and was killed immediately. She ran out of her car hysterically and threw herself at her father‘s dead body. Bara’a’s tragic events do not end here. The hospital staff did not tell Bara’as sick mother, who was fighting for her life at the hospital, of the death of her husband which occurred on his way to see her. Five days after, Bara’s mother lost her battle with cancer and died leaving Bara’a alone in Saudia Arabia with no relatives. She lost her mother and father in the same week. Some friends and good people who were touched by the tragedy of Bara’a story attempted to help her to return to her grand parent family back in Egypt. While arrangements were under way to send Bara’a home, another tragedy came her way again but this time she was the target. She experienced a sudden pain and after some medical test sure enough she was diagnosed with same form of cancer which killed her mother. At this point, when Bara’a was told of her diagnosis of cancer she smiled and said: all praise be to Allah, at last, I will be seeing my Baba and Mama soon. It is extraordinary to see this young child welcome death and accept the decree of God which has befallen upon her. Bara’s tragic story became known in Saudia Arabia then an anonymous Saudi Man, a good Samaritan, decided to send Bara’a to London for medical treatment. While Bara’a was being treated in the hospital in London she was interviewed by an Egyptian TV station, called al-Hafiz TV. She was asked to recite verses from the holy Quran aired for a special program dedicated to Quran recitation. Her recitation was powerful and heavenly sweet and brought tears to the program anchor. I am certain it will bring tears to anyone who listens to her beautiful recitation (see link below). The cancer has taken its toll on Bara’s health and she went through a lot of pain and suffering in the hospital. She was going into commas periodically. During these difficult times, another TV station interviewed her in the hospital and asked her to recite a song about the Mother and orphans. She made millions crying in the Arab world while she was singing . Days past and she continues living at the mercy of the cancer which by now has spread to her legs which doctors decided to amputate in an attempt to limit the spread of her cancer. During these difficult times she has continued to go into comma periodically but when she is awake she begins to recite Quran to keep her spirit alive. Days passed, the cancer spread to her brain and doctors decided to perform brain surgery to remove the cancer cells. She is still in the hospital fighting for her life. So please remember her in your Du'a Insha Allah and May Allah the most High save her life. You can listen to her recitation on the link below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnNS9ID9Ecw&feature=player_embedded Here is an orphan song sung beautifully by young Bara'a...unfortunately the link is broken but I found the english lyrics of the song. O tear of the Orphan O painful letters My father has died so tell the merciful souls O tear of the Orphan O tear of the Orphan O painful letters My father has died so who is there for me to throw love around me O tear of the Orphan Tell them so that I may Get a generous hands Get a generous hands O tear of the Orphan O painful letters My father has died so tell the merciful souls O tear of the Orphan Tell them the story of the young Who have gone to bed without guardian O broken tears O tear of the Orphan O painful letters My dear fathers the speech has frozen in the mouth and we are left with an orphaned tears with an orphaned tears with an orphaned tears with an orphaned tears Be Good, Stay good And Disapprove Wrong. Peace, Love & Unity.
  12. Barca toyed with Real Madrid last night in Bernabeu who had a player who cost more than the entire Arsenal team including the reserves and they lost 2-0 (it should've been more) but at least Arsenal didn't get humiliated and defeated at the same time at home. Peace, Love & Unity.
  13. Xavi Hernandez ALL DAY LONG. Somalis talk about Iniesta while the whole world sees Xavi as the man who makes Barca tick..typical maryooleey always seeing things differently. Don't get me wrong Iniesta is great player with amazing dribbling skills but Xavi has it all and whoever came up with this nonsense that Xavi performs better with Iniesta? Xavi is 30 years old and has been in Barca first team since he was 18 and he has been consistent through out his career, always getting his assists, always keeping position and he was lucky with injuries if you consider he's only been out for 5 months with his cruciate ligament while Iniesta has been unlucky with injuries. Last night in the El Clasico Barca scored 2 goals...who created both? (No A&T it was not Dani Alves )Messi was given enough chances to finish Madird off and get his hattrick and I thought they lost their shape a bit when Iniesta came on because he kept the ball and failed to release it on time thus missing the chance to spot the counter attack. Again I'm not saying Iniesta is not world class but I just think its him who benefits from playing with the little maestro Xavi rather than the other way around and the world agrees with me on this one because he was voted as the best player at Euro 2008 (I thought Senna was unlucky not to win it as well) he was also the man of the match in 2009 champions league final and ultimately he was voted as the best midfielder in the champions league. A&T would argue that Gilberto Silva (Arsenal Legend) or Felipe Melo are better than him...you can just see A&T coming up with the most shocking stats and a long list of make believe players with exotic names for the Selecao. The moral of the story...I'm a fan of Xavi and you know he's million miles ahead of NGONGE's Lucas. Peace, Love & Unity.
  14. As long as Barca have the little General Xavi and his sidekick Messi 'The Midget' Inter stand no chance whatsoever. OZ...Chelsea looking good for the double just don't let me down again because I can't stand seeing Utd win four in a row. Peace, Love & Unity.

  17. A brother of mine related this story where one of his Somali friends found out that he was coming to Africa to visit us and this said friend has only been in US for less than I've been a member on SOL. My brother could not believe all the monkey business that this guy was uttering...waxaad ku dhaaran laheyd in ninkaniu uusan weligiiba Africa cag dhigin and I couldn't help remember few guys and girls from here who some times I need to double check just to see whether they're still the same qaxooti because of all the nonsense they post here so here its and feel free to add more if you can. This is the first Question that my brother was asked. Have you got your yellow fever, malaria vaccination shot yet? Good Luck and Watch out for the wild animals roaming around on the streets especially the lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, leopards, cheetahs and last but not least watch out for the snakes and make sure you check your shoes EVERYTIME before wearing them. (I did not know Nairobi had wild animals roaming on its streets) Don't drink water from the tap, don't shake hands with people including your family members when they rush over to greet you and welcome you at the airport, don't eat their food and don't sleep on their beds. make sure you cover your face especially your nose and mouth whenever you're near those poor African souls and make sure you lock all the doors and windows EVERY NIGHT before you go to bed. Leave your passport and all your valuables at the embassy, don't trust anybody with your passport including your family and have some small notes in hand because every man and his dog would want money from you and you'll be introduced to each and every boy in your qabiil and every mother will ask you whether you're married or not and if you're married they would want to know whether your wife is from the tolka and if she isn't then expect to be offered the hand of the prettiest girl amongst the tolka girls and I must advice you to cover your nostrils because the girls smell strange with all their herbal trees and stuff they use to wash their hair and body. I couldn't take this nonsense anymore...I had to ask my brother to stop it otherwise I would want to throw up on all over that bloody reer baadiye's face...Where's Al Shabab when you need them? Peace, Love & Unity.
  18. Originally posted by SeeKer: BOB if your theory is right then somehow someone somewhere miscalculated because now the whites are riled up. Malema is an instigator who is dumb enough to be a catalyst to what many fear will be a civil war. The whites will lose out if that is the case. Zuma and Malema are cut from the same cloth and it seems that Zuma is fashioning Malema to take over. What is Madiba and Tutu saying about all this anyway? The most whites who had small businesses loved Mbeki because he made money for them and helped their businesses grow by taking the S.A economy to an all time high even more prosperous than when the whites were in charge during the apartheid (you didn't know that...did you?) but it's the so-called 'businessmen' whith the huge companies who wanted to get rid of him because he raised the tax and asked them to contribute to the growth of the economy...GREEDY Monkeys. Mandela never says anything in public concerning with the ANC, however, it's always been an open secret that he never rated Zuma as a leader capable of leading S.A and he was proven right when he was convicted of fraud (He accepted a bribe from a muslim 'businessman' called Schabir Shaik) and then few months later came the most embarrassing period in ANC's long and illustrious history when he was prosecuted for rape. He admitted to sleeping with the woman and insisted that it was consensual. (He said when a Zulu woman visits a Zulu man in his own home and then starts wearing skimpy outfits, she wants the man to make a move and he duly did) this woman was HIV+ mind you...If I go into detail with some of the things he said in that courtroom it will insult the intelligence of the minors who read this forum. Tutu was the cheerleader of Zuma when he was going through the two trials I've mentioned above and he launched several scathing attacks on Mbeki in the media which according to some political commentators dented his credibility amongst his old comrades including Mandela. these days he hardly speaks about politics, not in public anyway. This Malema dude needs to go before its too late otherwise S.A will be another Zimbabwe. PS. I know I come across as a Mbeki fan and I am because I benefited from his vision and I made few shillings from it but Zuma is completely the opposite...his plans are to make the rich richer and the poor...well keep them poor. Peace, Love & Unity.
  19. That's what happens when you get rid of an honest, visionary, hardworking and a real leader in favour of a clown, fraudster, rapist called Jacob Zuma. Long before this said Malema came to prominence Zuma has been singing these same songs in every high profile ANC rally or gatherings while he was still the vice president of the country. The whites are such a fickle bunch. I just don't know what they were thinking when they were getting rid of Mbeki in favour of this vile, disgraceful excuse of a human being called Zuma. They fast tracked Zuma from a convicted fraudster and a rapist to the most powerful man in S.A so they could loot the wealth of S.A. Terre Blanche was a clown with no brain cells and some of his comments would've made a 2 year old kid embarrassed...I DON'T BELIEVE one bit that he was killed by his workers. Some of the most 'powerful' black politicians feared that man more than their creator and you want me to believe that a lowly farm workers killed the most feared white man left in S.A? Some of the most hideous crimes ever known to a man are committed by the white farmers against their black workers simply because they know they can and no one would say a thing or these desperate poor workers won't report it either because of fear of losing their ONLY income recourse or worse their life. PS. I could be wrong but I highly doubt it that two black farm workers could murder Terre Blanche with pipes and machetes...PLEASE. Peace, Love & Unity.
  20. I can fully understand NOW why you and A&T get along so well. Peace, Love & Unity.

I would rather be a Faarax than all those girlie, mommy's boys you've mentioned above because Faarax is an intelligent fool who can come up with this. 'Dream of me' she said as she hung up the phone. 'Dream ONLY of me my love and me alone' and later that night when his body hit the bed, visions of her incomparable beauty danced in his head. His first dream of her was after their first ever meeting where she hypnotized his lonely heart. he dreamed of them dancing with the night under the watchful eyes of the full moon and millions of smiling stars, playing hide and seek with the day while the blue sky witnessed their joy and the passing by clouds shared and celebrated their joy. The beauty of her face reflected in his mesmerized eyes, never before had he felt so happy and never before had he felt so alive. His next dream was in Paradise, it looked like a place he'd been to before, a place similar to the sorrounding natural beauty of his beloved Kismayo that he grew up in. There they drank her favourite tea known by the locals as Warikow and lived a life of ease. The never seen before beauty of her amazing and sexy body reflected in the sun. It was then that he knew in his smitten heart that she was the ONLY Xaliimo for him. His last dream was the best of all three, it was the vision of the one thing he hoped someday soon would be. The warmth of her silkey and smooth body next to him reflected in candle light. He longed, hoped and prayed for it to be like this each and every night til the end. He rose from his sweet dream in the middle of the night. Stretching out his arms and rubbing the sleep from his eyes. And as he moved slowly from his tiny bed, he stopped and noticed her head on his chicken-like chest. Peace, Love & Unity.
