Originally posted by Oz: Bob Your problems is not merely the lack of quality in the back line or the keeper but rather arsenal do not know how to defend as a unit. Inter showed the world how to defend as a team even when they were a man short,as Jose said they did not want the ball and kept on giving it back to them prefering to remain in their position and closing down all the gaps. It is not something new because teams like ManU,Chelsea have employed the same tactics against arsenal sucessfully and I can remember them doing the same during the early days. My point is until and unless arsenal learnt to defend as a team,it does not matter who they have between the post or among the back 4, they will leak goals. The solution is not simply to add or replace the players but in addition they need to employ a defensive coach and go back to basic as far as defending is concerned. The fact is you do not need to have a Nesta,Terry or a Buffon between the stick to keep clean sheets, the fact that your famous 4 consist of players signed from the lower division is proof. the key to their sucess.........Hours and Hours of being drilled to work and defend as a unit. As for Rovers tactics,it was simple, effective but at the same time ugly i.e send high balls into the box, crowd the keeper with players like Samba and Roberts with the simple aim of preventing him from reaching the ball and hope for the best. If Spurs win their next game they will be only 2 pts behind Arsenal, and if they played in the same manner that they did on Sunday there is a chance that they could take 3rd place if you lose your final game. Tuujiye that's more like it. OZ Did you know that our goalkeepers ALONE cost us 17 points this season and Almunia ALONE scored 3 OGs and YES those 3 games we went on to loose. You saw how ridiculous Hilaro's performance was against City when they thrashed you at the bridge right? Oh yeah and don't forget you had both your best central defenders in Terry and Carvalho on the pitch...what happened? now do tou think Cech would've conceded those pathetic goals? my point is you can have the best defenders in the entire world but if you have clueless goalkeepers you're bound to concede few costly goals the same childish goals that Arsenal concede week in and week out because the bloody goalkeepers are rubbish. We have great defenders but the problem is the system we play in and the attitude of our players, do you think Varmaelen and Gallas are worse than Villa centre backs or Stoke yet they conceded far lass than what we have and when I say the attitude of our players I mean, Arshavin, Nasri, Walcott, Rocisky are our wingers, now in 4-3-3 system you MUST have wingers who can do their share of defending and not expose their wingbacks that's why United play Park and Valencia against teams with good wingers and Liverpool play Benyahood and Kuyt but can you say the same thing against Arsenal? Arshavin sprints 40 metres and you'll think he's been running a cross country for years and Nasri and Rocisky are careless while Walcot is just clueless that's why our wing backs are 'easily' exposed because almost always they have to defend against two players at one time, the winger and the left back/right back and yet we still expect them to join the attack...which is the ONLY reason why their crosses are beyond poor both Sagna and Clichy and I believe that's because they're knackered by the time they get upto the final third. My Final point is...Defensive Midfielder. Diaby and Denilson ARE NOT defensive midfielders and Song needs to watch the videos of the likes of Gilberto, Vieira, Makeleke, Xabi Alonso and Essien, there were games where I pointed out to my friends how painfully he was out of position, he was ahead of both Cesc and Diaby . PS. I still believe Utd will win the title. Peace, Love & Unity.

Greetings to you first Walaashiis, secondly ninkan Tuujiye la yiraahdo (belaayo ha tuujiso ma dhahaa) calls ladies all kinds of BAD names. for example wuxuu ku leeyahay "Bajaqyaasha Waxaa Loo sameeyay in la Iska Biyo-Biyesto". Did you know that he's a rotten Chelsea fan and hates your beloved Gunners with passion, waa fuleey iska ilaali yuusan ku gaadin and I should warn you about his dirty tricks as well...yuusan ku qaniinin and he wears long fake nails that he bought with 99 cents (waa toxic and dirtier than Vampire's) hence his legendary status as the undisputed champion when it comes to scratching and hair pulling and if you ever need a help just whistle and I will wrestle him to the ground for you. Tuujiye is not a football fan but a Chelsea fan...hada u fiirso there's a huge difference between the two you can also argue that Ngonge is more of a Lucas fan than the mighty red. Peace, Love & Unity.

Originally posted by Oz: Bob, do tell your fovourable moments of world cup memories. The first ever world cup I've watched from beginning to end was US 94 as I was in Kenya at that time and before that I did not even know anything else but Kismayo existed. in US 94 the game I loved most was Holland V Brazil...remember Branco laser guided-like missile? Brazil V Sweden the semi final one. Nigeria V Italy. Argentina V Romania. Bulgaria V Germany....the best goal obviously goes to Said Al-Owairan...what a goal! Over the years I've watched the classic games in the previous World Cups like in the 82 WC Argentina V Brazil. Italy V Brazil. Italy V Germany. in Mexico 86 I watched...Brazil V France. France V Germany. Argentina V England. Argentina V Germany. in Italia 90. Egypt V Holland (I'd recommend this match for any man and yes the score was 1-1 watch what Ahmad El Kass does to great Frank Rijkaard time and again) Brazil Vs Argentina. Italy Vs Aregntina. Cameroon V Colombia. Cameroon V England. Italy V England. Argentina V Yugoslavia. in France 98 again for me the best match was Holland V Brazil. Argentina V England. France V Croatia. in 2006 only two games stand out for me...France V Brazil (Zidane Show) and Italy V Germany...the most entertaining world cup game I've ever seen Italy play. in 2010...A&T this one is for you....Bafana V Brazil in the quaters where Brazil will be beaten by whoelse? Algeria V England...whatever you do make sure you do not miss this one...trust me it's going to be a great match where England will be spanked and Rooney will be red carded...I guarantee you that and last but not least..the final itself...Bafana V Algeria. Peace, Love & Unity.

Whenever the going gets tough we tend to collapse, we can't handle the slightest pressure as we allow our nerves get the better of us as we do not have the experience to deal with it. Do you honestly think Liverpool, Utd and Chelsea would've lost to Wigan after going 2-0 up? NEVER in a million years. That match we ONLY needed some one to slow the game down and spread the play and let Wigan chase, surely if you can't do that against Wigan of all teams then you do not deserve to win anything. Arsene yesterday blamed the Blackburn's bullying tactics, what did he expect from Fat Sam? Fabianski should've shoved Samba away from his goal line and the defenders should've done more to protect their goalie knowing how fragile he's, if Blackburn and Fat Sam of all people can spot your weakness and exploit it then it says a lot about Arsenal players. The sad story of Arsenal for the last 5 years has been this, if you're playing home against Arsenal (it does not matter if you're Burnley or Blackburn) show more hunger and determination than them, do not give them time on the ball, put few wild tackles in especially in the first 10-15 minutes before the referee remembers he has cards in his pocket just to intimidate them and Wala...you're guaranteed at least a point! Peace, Love & Unity.
