    lol @ Alpha,

     

    I hate the word 'Playa' and over the years I came to understand that there's nothing called 'Playa' only young boys running around with loads of moneky business. I guarantee you, no man can play women all the time, you might get lucky once or twice but trust me eventually you'll be the one crying foul and in misery because women can easily tell when a guy is lying to his teeth and there's never been better pretender on the planet then bilcaamaha and their game is deeper than any man's wallet marka I always distance myself from the word 'Playa' because I know it does not exist...maybe ONLY in naive boys' minds.:)

     

    I'm an old school young blood and I don't mean to brag but I can teach you one or two things about the fairer sex but I'm afraid that you might label me Alex Hitchens.;)

    So who you’ve met that has rekindled this forgotten deed?:)

     

     

    Like I said we are all capable of loving someone so truly and faithfully that it defines logic and those closest to you will seriously question your sanity and rightly so, however, some are lucky enough to share a lifetime with their beloved while others will forever be slaves of regret even if they never admit it because they’ve forever lost their beloved, the one they thought they would spend the rest of their lives with!!

     

     

    LOVE...the most beautiful word in any language but sadly for me.......I'm allergic to it.

    Boodhari’s name has become synonymous with love amongst Somalis just as much as Imam Gurey and Sayyid M. Abdulle Hassan’s names have become synonymous with patriotism.

     

    His tragedy seduces your conscience and fulfils one’s ideal romanticism and fantasy but with a different fate of course, every girl would love to be loved totally, fully and wholeheartedly just as much any guy would love to be madly, fully and completely in love with his chosen abaayo macaan and whether you want to deny it or accept it we are all capable of loving just as much, it’s just that we haven’t been cursed with Boodhari’s destiny which is the most tragic one I’ve ever heard.:)

     

    As a nation we are all inspired by Boodhari’s unconditional love towards Hodan, his commitment, bravery, loyalty, dedication and above all faithfulness, you can’t help it but admire the man’s bravery even if in the end it caused his untimely death but I guarantee you, had he been given the opportunity, he would’ve done it again but this time I am sure he wouldn’t have fallen sleep and miss Hodan.

     

    After Imam Ahmed Gurey and Sayyid Muhammad Abdulle Hassan, Boodhari is the third most famous Somali man amongst the Somalis from all corners of the country, that is how much people adore him and I don’t think people will ever stop talking about him as long as there’s one of us on this earth.

     

    I most certainly won't...

    LOL @ Chelsea fans rating Lampard higher than Gerrard by revealing his biggest flaw as his strongest point...the guy is as selfish as C. Ronaldo, he scored over 20 + goals for several seasons by sacrificing team glory over personal glory, the guy shoots from all angles and distances and the let’s not even get into how many of those shots he’s scored because that’s beside the point and oh yeah few weeks back when he (Lampard) scored the two goals, one was pen but his second one I was screaming for him to pass it to Torres who would’ve scored with a tap in but true to his nature he went for personal glory and before you lot even start making excuses for him, I watched Steven Gerrard in same position pass it to Torres who returned from an injury and remember Gerrard did not even score in that match...I don’t know how many of you actually played a proper and organized football even in semi-professional level, believe me you can’t imagine what a simple tap in goal would do for a striker’s confidence and I believe Stevie Gerrard knew that when he allowed Torres to have it but can we say the same thing about Lampard? Not in a million years and without even that, for me I will always choose Gerrard over Lampard and I’m an Arsenal fan.:D

     

    Stevie G = Team player.

    Jacpher, THANKS a lot bro...but I'm ashamed to admit that I can't tell where exactly the first picture is, I know it's Calanley but I don't know where exactly!!! I remember that boat too...the owner is called Sheikh Ibrahim (forgot his surname)...I forgot about Kismayo to be honest after all I left there in 91 and haven't been anywhere near my city since!!!:mad:

     

    it's sad when one spends almost two thirds of one's lifetime in a foreign lands away from his homeland, isn't it? Well, that is me!!!:(

    You don’t have to be good in literature to understand the meaning of this poem unless you mean reer Kismayo lama fahmo,:D .

     

    (I’m allergic to literature by the way) if you look beyond the rhymes and his trade-mark short lines waad fahmi doontaa inuu ka hadlayo dagaalka foosha xun ee waddankeena ka dhacayey 20kii sano ee lasoo dhafay oo illaa iyo maantana ka socda waddankii, wuxuu ka taabanayaa caqli darada kan wax dilaya oo aan ka danqaneyn dilka uu dilayo walaalkii, wuxuu ka damqanayaa dhibaatada iyo halaaga uu dagaalku galiyay ummadda Soomaaliyeed, wuxuu ugu hanjabayaa all these brain dead warlords in one day people will get fed of their dirty antics and manipulation , all in all Stanza is saddened and you can sense his pain and grief.

     

    PS. He’s my homeboy by the way and we were even born in the same hospital and his full name is Mohamed Abdikadir Daud oo waa laguu yaqaan.:cool:
