I have to admit, I have never ever seen Arsenal being dominated like that throughout the match and United were unlucky to lose but I am not going to apologize for winning the FA CUP, HELL NO. I am bitterly disappointed with our performance as we are capable much more than that and I think the team has proven me right at long last as we tend to struggle without our main man THIERRY HENRY and I thought that theory has never been more evident than today. but over all I think its about time Man Utd felt how Bayern Munich and Sammi Kufour in particular felt back in 99 and as an Arsenal fan I couldn't have wished for a better scenario to beat Man Utd than the one i witnessed today where we've destroyed their soul and I am sure few of them will have few sleepless nights over this which from my point of view is GREAT. Rooney won the man of the match when Ronaldo was the best player on the park, Bloody British. I enjoyed watching Rio crying like a baby, oh what a beautiful sight that was. PS. My fellow Gooners, I told you we would triumph, didn’t i? now can somebody pass me the Camel Milk pleaseeeeeee or better pour on me. "United You Cry Babies, Hail The Champions" Peace,Love & Unity.

Ducaqabe, i was too young to attend the match back then but you can never forget those kind of matches, can you? the guy who scored the winning goal for us is Mohammed Adam "Naw" (my homeboy) against Yemen and yes you are right they beat the Somalia National Team in Mogadishu before they came to Kismayo. it is not Maxamed "Carab" but actually Abdi-Qaffaar "Boostaale" (my best friend) who played for Simba FC "the biggest club in Tanzania" for two seasons before going back to Kismayo. Maxamed 'Carab' is in Sweden and we all keep in touch and A/Qaffaar is now in Nairobi and Abdi "Xaaq" is in Saudi Arabia and as you know he is old now but who can forget him as he was our best Goalkeeper that we've ever had. I don't know about North America but if i was to write the names of those i think are the best players Somalia ever had then i will need days or perhaps even months because, see, I am from Kismayo the city that produced more footballers than the entire Somalia put together and many of them even went on to represent Somalia National team and I am not being bias here but ask any person who has in depth knowledge about Somalia football and I promise you if he/she gives you 5 names at least three of them will be from my home town Kismayo. Even though I haven't seen him play but people from both Kismayo and Mogadishu say that Bin-Shakir was the greatest player Somalia ever produced and then there's Khalif "Riko" and who can forget my childhood idol and hero Omar "Farur",if there ever was a football genius in Somalia then in my eyes it was him. only if he was born in Europe instead of Kismayo, the world would've been talking about him instead of Zidane or Ronaldinho today and yes that is how highly I rate him plus he was the greatest non-professional role model I ever knew as he always had time for me and my friends and he was always willing to show us few tricks and the greatest and most definitely the happiest hour of my life came the day I played alongside him in a tournament held in Mombasa-Kenya in mid 90’s where he personally asked me to inherit his beloved number "10" jersey and asked me to win the match for our beloved Kismayo like he did countless times before and all I can say is I DIDN'T LET MY IDOL DOWN and i thank Allah (sw) for that. Sorry..i got carried away there, but that is how PASSIONATE we people from Kismayo are about this great game called football, no wonder we RULED Somalia. Peace,Love & Unity.

My Fellow Gooners, First let me inform you that Gooners fans are the majority in this site and there are some that you don't even know of the likes of, Dawoco(who is got her Bergkamp jersey), Raula, Nin-Yaaban, Rudy, Qori and not to mention all my friends and when I say my friends I am talking about a whole army including the Admin himself.. i know our main man will be missing tomorrow which is sad but we are still far better team than those bullies called United and they know they can't play football against us which is why they always resort to dirty tricks. Mind Games? What is that got to do with football? That Irish alcoholic questioned our captain why did he ditch Senegal for France when he should be asking himself why the heck did he abandon his own country when they needed him most? I liked the way our captain thrashed him because he simply asked for it and he got a labeeb slap..lol Sis Ferguson is running scared and she thinks Wenger is taking her for a midnight ride and Henry will play tomorrow but we all know that Henry is not known to fake an injury like certain Beckham or Nistelrooy just to get a silly publicity, Titi is as honest as they get which is the main reason why he is the favourite Gooner of the young and old alike. I said it before and I will say it again "ARSENAL WILL WIN IT" and if you don't agree with me then KULA MWITI . Go Gooners, Go Gooners, Go Gooners. PS. Northerner, well said mate and you know we Gooners are good in returning the favour that is why I am rooting for your REDs on Wednesday (Sorry, Viking)lol. AC Milan atakulishuwa na manyasi tena vumbi...Ogopa Liverpool. Peace,Love & Unity.

MADRID: Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o has been widely criticised for making insulting comments about his former club Real Madrid during Barca's title celebrations. The 24-year-old Cameroon international, who is the leading scorer in the Primera Liga, chanted "Madrid, cabron, saluda al campeon" (Madrid, bast@rds, hail the champions)into the microphone during a speech at the Nou Camp on Sunday. Many of the 100,000 fans at the stadium to celebrate the club's first league title in six years joined in the chorus. "This character is a fantastic player, but he leaves a lot to be desired as a person," president of the federation of Real Madrid fan clubs, Fermin Calero, was quoted as saying on the Real Madrid website. "He has forgotten that it was Real Madrid that first allowed him to escape hunger and with these unfortunate declarations the only thing he has done is to encourage violence." Barcelona president Joan Laporta said the incident had been unfortunate. "I don't think they were ill-intentioned and they should be understood in the context that they took place, at a celebration party and in an atmosphere of unrestrained euphoria, but they are difficult to justify." The player is scheduled to attend a news conference at the Nou Camp at 1530 GMT on Monday to apologise for the incident. Real Madrid said they would be making no comment about Eto'o's behaviour, but Real centre back Francisco Pavon said the player had got carried away. "Maybe it was the heat of the moment, but I don't think you need to insult anybody when celebrating a title that Barcelona thoroughly deserved to win." Spanish television compared Eto'o's comments to those made by Luis Figo when he celebrated Barcelona's last title triumph in 1999. The Portuguese winger shouted "Blancos, llorones, felicitad a los campeones" (Real Madrid, cry babies, hail the champions) from a balcony to celebrating crowds, just a year before signing for Real. PS. That was uncalled for Sammi but i stand by you regardless just as much as i did for Elhadji Diouf because i know you didn't mean to insult but just wanted to rub it in..(we Africans have a unique way of understanding each other) . Peace,Love & Unity.

Final Part: Fifty years ago, society told us that men were superior because they left home to work in factories, we were mothers, and yet we were told that it was women's liberation to abandon the raising of another human being in order to work on a machine. We accepted that working in a factory was superior to raising the foundation of society –just because a man did it. Then after working, we were expected to be a superhuman , the perfect mother, the perfect wife, the perfect homemaker and have the perfect career. And while there is nothing wrong, by definition, with a woman having a career, we soon came to realize what we had sacrificed by blindly mimicking men. Many of us got divorced while the rest of us watched as our children became strangers and soon recognized the privilege we’d given up, and so only now, given the choice, women in the west are choosing to stay home to raise their children, the same women we muslims thought had a far better marriages and life than us. According to the United States Department of Agriculture, only 31% of mothers with babies and 18% of mothers with two or more children are working full time. And those working mothers, a survey conducted by Parenting Magazine in 2000, found that 93% of them say they would rather be home with their children but are compelled to work due to “financial obligationsâ€. These obligations are imposed on women by the gender equality of the modern west and removed from women by the gender distinctiveness of Islam. It took the women in the west almost a century of experimentation to realize a privilege given to Muslim women 1400 years ago. Given my privilege as a Muslim woman, I only degrade myself by trying to be something I am not and in all honesty, I don't want to be a man. As mulsim women idolizing our counterparts in the west, we will never reach true liberation until the day we stop following the footsteps of non-believers and respect and value the beauty in our own Allah (sw) given distinctiveness and I wish my sister Amina should have done that. To answer my muslimah sister Amina, I would like to remind her that being feminist doesn't mean you should go against the principles of your religion, as we know Aisha (ra) even directed an army from the rear in a battle, she was a Mufti in her time and scores of Muslims came to her for Islamic teachings and advice but never led a prayer and never demanded to lead one. It is reported that Sayyidah Aisha (ra) asked to have a slave named Dhakwan lead her in the Taraweeh salaat during a Ramadan, this slave was much less learned than she was, he did not even memorize the Qur'an and used to lead her in salaah whilst reading from the mushaf, her own degree of learning was vastly above his, despite her knowledge and her sublime status as Umm Al-Muminin it was to him that she ceded the right to lead Salaah. If given a choice between stoic and compassion, I choose compassion and if given a choice between Feminist with a worldly leadership and heaven at my feet, Wallah I choose heaven. PS. My Muslim and Somali sisters, don't allow yourself to be praised in a deceiving tone by going against the principles of your faith because if you accept the western ideologies as a way of life then that means you abandoned your Islamic faith and they will praise you for that and put your name on the front page of their newspapers and show your face on their television but remember one thing, some day you will end up in a place where no one can help you but only your Ibada and Amal, so live your life but don't forget the light above in other words, don't forget about the day of Khiyama. May Allah(sw) Guide Us All Through The Right Path. And Thanks for reading this long article. Peace,Love & Unity.

This is an article written by Muslimah Yasmin Mujahed, a feminist about Amina Wadud for a monthly newspaper called Al-Ummah in this country that I live in. Part One: On March 18th 2005 Amina Wadud led the first female-led Friday prayer. On that day women took a huge step towards being more like men. But did we come closer to actualizing our god given liberation? I don't think so. What we so often forget is that Allah (sw) has honored the woman by giving her value in relation to Allah (sw), not in relation to men. But as western feminism erases Allah (sw) from the scene, there is no standard left but men. As a result the western feminist is forced to find her value in relation to a man, and in so doing has accepted a faulty assumption. She has accepted that man is the standard and thus a woman can never be a full human being until she becomes just like a man-the standard. When a man cut his hair short, she wanted to cut her hair short, when a man joined the army, she wanted to join the army. She wanted these things for no other reason than because the "standard" had it. What she didn't recognize was that Allah (sw)dignifies both men and women in their distinctiveness, not their sameness and on March 18th Muslim women made the same very mistake of their western and Christian counterparts. for 1400 years there has been a consensus of the scholars that men are to lead prayers, as a muslim woman why does this matter? The one who leads prayer is not spiritually superior in any way. something is not better just because a man does it and leading a prayer isn't better just because its leading. had it been the role of women or had it been so divine , why wouldn't the beloved Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) have asked Khadija or Fatima or Ayesha (the greatest women of all time) to lead? These women were promised Jannah and yet they never led a prayer. but now for the first time in 1400 years, we look at a man leading a prayer and we think "that is not fair", we think although Allah (sw) has given no special privilege to the one who leads. The imam is no higher in the eyes of Allah (sw) than the one who prays behind. On the other hand, only a woman can be a mother and Allah (sw) has given special privilege to a mother, our beloved Prophet (p.b.u.h) taught us that Jannah lies at the feet of mothers. But no matter what a man does he can never be a mother. So why is that not fair? When asked who is most deserving of our kind treatment? Our beloved Prophet (p.b.u.h) replied "your Mother" three times before saying "your father" only once. Isn't that sexist? No matter what a man does he will never be able to have the status of a mother. And yet when Allah (sw) honors us with something uniquely feminine, we are too busy trying to find our worth in reference to men, to value it-or even notice. We too have accepted men as the standard, so anything uniquely feminine is, by definition inferior. Being sensitive is an insult, becoming a mother-a degradation. In the battle between stoic rationally (considered masculine) and self-less compassion (considered feminine) rationally reigns supreme. As soon as we accept that everything a man has and does is better, all that follows is just a knee jerk reaction: if men have it, we want it too, if men pray in front rows, we assume this is better, so we want to pray in the front rows too. If men lead prayer, we assume the imam is closer to Allah (sw) so we want to lead prayer too, somewhere along the line we've accepted the notion that having a position of worldly leadership is some indication of one's position with Allah (sw). A muslim woman does not need to degrade herself in this way, she has Allah (sw) as a standard, she has Allah (sw) to give her value, she doesn't need a man. In fact, our crusade to follow men, we, as women, never even stopped to think to examine the possibility that what we have is better for us, in some cases we even gave up what was higher only to be like men.

Northerner, Yeah it is very sweet to see Barca back on top after six long and painful years without a championship and the celebration in Barcelona streets last night was CRAZY as fans young and old like were out on the streets in their thousands celebrating but you should've watched the match as Ronnie was in the centre stage dancing and singing, it was beautiful just marvelous to watch how happy they all were. I just hope they strengthen the team with few more signings so they can defend their title next year and hopefully win the Champs lge. By the way Southampton,Norwich and Palace just got relegated from the Prem Lge and Birmingham beat us 2-1  ..lol. Peace,Love & Unity.

I've read many history books and conducted my own little research and I finally realized it is all one big lie after another as there's no way a man born in Europe can tell me about my ancestry when he doesn't even know his? I say he doesn't know his because this is the same man who says our ancestors were Apes.(give me a break) Now how can I trust the words of a man who doesnt even see me as a human and denies my humanity? My point is our Somali history is corrupted just like they corrupted our minds and souls by dividing us into countless clans and sub clans while we're only between 8-10 million and they convinced us to believe that some of us were born to a superior family while the others were born to an inferior clans and we still all look alike, act alike and talk alike and dare I say even think alike (most of the time at least) Only Allah knows whether we have a Chinese blood, an Arab blood or even a Bantu blood in us but the fact of the matter is we are SOMALI now and in the eyes of the whole world that is who we are and we should be proud of it because what matters most is that we are MUSLIMS and we should all be grateful to almighty Allah for that as we embraced Islam before many Arab countries and no Somali soul ever shed the blood of our beloved Prophet Muhammed's (P.B.U.H) companions and in my opinion that is the highest honor any person could get and as a Somali race it is something we should all be proud of instead of a lousy Tribe/s. That's all I have to say. STAY SOMALI MARYOOLEY 4EVER. Peace,Love & Unity.

Barcelona won the Spanish championship with two games to spare after their title rivals Real could only manage a draw against Sevilla in Seville earlier. Barca needed only a draw against the lowly Levante and I tell you it wasn't easy and Ronaldinho was lucky not to be sent off for head butting the Levante defender. it was a rough match and very scrappy one as well and Barcelona played poorly and worse they had to come from behind in the second half thanks to La Liga leading goal scorer Samuel Et'o who was unlucky not to score in the first half after he smashed the ball against the crossbar just few minutes after Levante took the lead. all in all it was a wonderful season for the Catalan giants as they were consistent through out the season and I am thrilled for Frank Rijkaard and for Ronaldinho as well who has never won a championship in his entire career and then there's Et’o what a difference he's made to this talented team. PS. the reason they've won the championship with two games to go is because of their better head to head record against Real Madird. Barca...Barca...Barca... Peace,Love & Unity.

The Light Before The Darkness. (QORI) Deep in an unconscious sleep a man lies alone in his bed playing with the thoughts he keeps all locked up in his big head evils rang off his words and lies and the unholy company he kept unaware his life would pass him by so all the while he was busy sleeping ignorant to the cruel realities of how he was being judged caught up with unclean ambition always forgetting his creator above lived in denial to all that was holy he was caught and nothing he could do he finally realized all that could be and fought to get up and start anew the truth came crashing down on him it was too late his time was up.... (BOB) The good lord was a forgiving God he was already given time to grow up should have went to the mosque and prayed more didn't the years hold enough time? should've paid Zakkah and went for Hajj then he'd be in heavens sublime if only he had more time with less haste BOB would've had a different story to tell but a man's life here has gone to waste his all was lost so sudden in a moment moments he chose to throw away he traveled far from the divine end when he chose to go the other way so live your life to the fullest but don't forget the light above it will pass in a matter of moments and before you know it you'll be judged take advantage of the light before the darkness. May Allah (s.w) Guide Us All Through The Right Path. Amiin.Amiin.Amiin. Peace To My Brother Qori... Peace,Love & Unity.

Viking, Uefa said Milan would play in their away kit which is white while Liverpool will wear the red. Italians are usually superstitious people and I am sure when they hear Liverpool never lost to an opposition playing in white while they wore their traditional red they will go "Oh Mama Mia" what's going on ? personally speaking I believe Liverpool will win it, now don't ask me how and why it is just my gut feeling so let's wait and see on 26th Insha Allah but good luck to you nevertheless. Today we gave Liverpool a footballing lesson in Highbury, we taught them how to play this beautiful game called football properly and killed their dream of finishing 4th on the table in the process while cementing our usual spot which is second but guys don't despair we will beat Everton on Wednesday just to prove that we got nothing against you . I admit I was disappointed in Liverpool performance as they never looked like a team in Uefa Champs Lge final or should I say "Not Up For It" to say the least because after watching a great match in Serie A between AC Milan Vs Juve earlier I was hoping for a similar kind of match with all the drama and intensity but credit to Liverpool for finally waking up after perhaps Benitez gave them an earful but unfortunately by that time it was already too late and young Fabregas just decided to rub it in by making sure Liverpool’s dream remained just a dream but I am sure if you asked Wenger he'll tell you "Zat Vosan't on Ze script ." Juve won today thanks to Trezeguet header which means the title is going to Turin once again but I thought AC Milan deserved to get something out of the game had Mr Collina not denied them what was a two legitimate penalties. Yep Yep Barca won 2-0 against Valencia thanks to the Goofy Genius and the elected Pachichi winner Sammy Et'o and i am sure now the title is theirs as Real will be away to Sevilla next week and i am expecting them to drop points there just like they expected Barca to drop points today. in other words Today Was A Good Day for me. Peace,Love & Unity.
