Salam Aleikum W.W I once had a heated argument with a guy who used to be one my father's students and as funny as it may sound our argument was about whether a muslim could wear a 'tie' yeah the neck tie or not and after he failed to convince me he accused me of being a non-muslim...can you believe that? But on the other hand I came across many many brothers & sisters with deep knowledge of the religion who knew exactly how to capture your imagination and captivate you with their sweet & kind words so I wouldn't let an aggressive wanna-be sheikh dumpen my spirit because I was lucky to have met, spoke on the phone with or even interacted with some of the most prominent scholars Somalia ever had from Sheikh Omar Farookh to late Boqol Soon to the current young champions led by Sheikh Mohammned Abdi Umal and Sheikh Mustafa Haji Ismail to Sheikh Shibli and they all left with a lasting impression on me... Brothers & Sisters let's not pay too much mind to one nasty experience we've had with some guy with no skills at all...as a Somali Alxamdulillaah we're blessed with so many scholars who are always willing to help and they all made themselves available for us for almost all the time...so don't let such experinces be the bench mark of your life and make you believe all the Sheikhs are alike after all it's COMPULSARY for every Muslim to learn his or her religion marka are you going to stop seeking knowledge just because you had a scary encounter with so-called wannabe Mullah?
