Salam Aleikum W.W Killing the innocent is a terrible sin and crime against Islam as Almighty Allah s.w said in the Qur'aan, Surah Al-Maida verse 32 says "Man qatala nafs bi ghayr nafsin aw fasad fi al-ard fa ka anna maa qatalan an-nas jamia" (That who kills a single soul except for a soul (killed) or for corruption in the earth, so it is as that he killed all of humankind). Allah s.w will put a person in Hell forever for a single murder that he does not repent (Surah An-Nisa, Ayah 93) now can you imagine his wrath when in his eyes you have killed all of human kind? We should all be shaking with fear of such fate. as well, the beloved prophet p.b.u.h has specifically prohibited the killing of civilians even during a state war, especially the elderly, women and children...in Sahih Muslim its narrated by Ibn Umar that a woman was found killed in one of these battles, so the messenger of Allah s.w forbade the killing of women and children. this is the instructions that used to be given to the muslim army: "Set out for Jihad in the name of Allah and for the sake of Allah. do not lay hands on the old verging on death, on women, children and babies. do not steal anything from the booty and collect together all that falls to your lot in the battlefield and do good, for Allah loves the virtuous and the pious" The Qur'aan has also provided direction what to do when a muslim does wrong and this is found in Surah Al-Hujurat verse 9. "Fa in baghat ihda huma ala al-ukhra fa qatilu allati tabghi hatta tafi'a ila amr Allah" (so if one of the (parties of the faithful) does wrong to the other, then fight against the one that does wrong until it comes back around to the commandment of Allah) the meaning of this is clear, any and all muslims who are involved in the attacks against civilians are fasiq and fajir and we have been commanded to fight against them by Allah s.w until they return to the commandment of Allah s.w. Allah s.w has given another directive and reminding us that we must do what is right, even if its against those closest to us be it mother, father, brother, sister, uncle, aunt or even our TRIBESMEN/WOMEN and this is in Surah An-Nisa verse "Ya ayyuha alladina amanu, kuna qawwamina bi al-qist shuhada lillahi wa law ala anfusikum aw al-walidayn wa al-aqrabin. (O you, those who have faith stand up for justice, witnesses of Allah, even if its against your own parents and close family) I will finish this with a hadeeth from Sahih Bukhari which is narrated by Anas (r.a)...the beloved prophet p.b.u.h said "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one. te companions asked "O Allah's messenger...it's all right to help him if he's oppressed, but how should should we help him if he's an oppressor?" the beloved prophet p.b.u.h replied "by preventing him from oppressing others" Brothers and sisters ilaahey ka cabsada oo dulmiga aad taageereysaan joojiya, by Allah nobody will ever be able to lend you a helping hand when you die and stand in front of your maker marka odayaashaan aan ilaahey iyo rasuulkiisaba inkiray haku daba lumina sababtoo ah dhammaantood nin diin Islaam ogol kuma jiro other wise waddanka gaalo gacanta uma aysan geliyeen maanta ummadda masaakiinta ahna lama gumaadeen. Allah Knows Best. Salam Aleikum W.W Peace, Love & Unity.

No single day goes by without being taunted...what on earth is SOL coming to? ever since I told the world (SOL) my height and my physical appearance these girls haven't stopped talking about...I'm Pretty...I'm tall...I'm skinny...I'm skeleton...I'm light-skinned...I'm sick and tired of reading a topic full of...I,I,I,I,I,I,I,I for Faarax's sake gabdhoow naga daaya dacaayada aad igu wadaan Allah Yahdeek...maseer baad nafta iiga qaadeen Agaah. Markaasaad hadana sii leedihiin yaan la guursan nin gaaban...balwaxaas ma xaq baa ilaah baan idinku dhaarshaye? I wonder when and who's going to make a documentary about their cheerleaders in the west who riase funds for them so another poor Somali family can be broken and destroyed? Who's brave enough to chase them away when they come to collect your share of the donation? Who can with stand their childish threats (especially when they threaten you with the most ridiculous nonsense you've ever heard...like they will make your clan to disown you...yeah right...go ahead and tell mine to disown me and see if I care? If anything Somalis really made me understand why Allah s.w has created Hell & Heaven...do you actually know that there are so-called scholars who condone the presence of Ethiopian forces in Somalia? What kind of a scholar is that...Munaafiq fowqal Munaafiq. until the day these foot-soldiers (Cheerleaders) are stopped who keep on depositing money to the accounts of these warlords...the same money that we earned with our blood and sweat...Somalia will be in the hands and under the control of our enemies and we will stay divided... PS.I challenge any chearleader in here to name one single good and noble thing that his/her uncle did for their own tribe let alone Somalia...I tell you all these monkeys do is pushyou one step closer to the fires of Jahannam...because let's face it they are Mujrim/Murtad and you chose to openly support a man who's clearly the enemy of Islam and yet you want to call yourself a Muslim...What a joke. I don't know about the 'majority' but I belong to the minority who also happen to be the overwhelming majority for I'm from a poor background...but I used that as my inspiration and never let it prevent me from my goals which is why I'm married to a real Princess today. I have noticed the vast of you are graduates but the vast majority of Somali graduates are working in low paid and low status jobs. you assumed wrong again...I'm no university graduate...in fact I never even made it that far but I'm a college drop-out because they were not telling me anything that I didn't know thanks to my priceless experience that I gained while attending Utange University and then True Hardship University in the streets of Jozi but apart from those two minor errors you're a spot on...there are low class primadonnas here in SOL but its against my principal to name them but you're a smart fellow...read around and in no time you'll come across their comments which tells you more about them. This is another scheme to make a quick buck using the good name of mother Africa! There are so many nice things about Africa worthy of a celebration but not like this and not least in the current situation... Serenity and Ibtisam...send that money to the orphans in Mogadishu or any other Somali town or city instead of helping these fat monkeys get fatter. Salam Aleikum W.W Peace,Love & Unity.

Originally posted by *BOB i expect United to beat toothless Barcelona...I hate to say it but I'm afraid it looks like it's going to be Man Utd's year....I hope and pray that I'm wrong. in my opinion they deserved it especially Ronaldo, guys come on you have to admit that he was simply the best by miles and for that only I think he deserved to win both trophies...no striker can score 42 goals and Ronaldo did it and he's not even a striker...AMAZING. back to the match...it was somewhat a reminiscent of 99 where Bayern Munich twice saw being denied by the bar and the post while they were still leading 1-0 only to end up losing 2-1 in the most painful and heartbreaking way in the history of the gam...and I'm afraid lightening struck twice for Chelsea as they hit the post (Drogba) and the crossbar (Lampard) only to end up losing on penalties...I know Utd created few great chances but you can't shoot straight at the keeper and claim you were unlucky...no no luck has nothing to do with it but hitting on the post and the bar while the goalkeeper was beaten...now that's unlucky. The other point I would like to raise here is...after Alex Ferguson bullied, threatened and intimidated the Ref and this is something the whole world saw when the officials were walking back to the pitch after the half time break...the cameras caught Alex Ferguson saying something, in fact a lot of things to the ref and you could see from his body language that he wasn't paying any complimentary to the ref and after that the ref. was lenient towards them...that's my opinion anyway. Drogba couldn't contain his frustration of failing to get the better of Vidic that's why he slapped him otherwise how do you explain such a childish reaction from the supposed match winner of the team? all I can say is 'I Understand My Brother' . I'm convinced that had Chelsea played 4-4-2 and played Essein in Midfield and Baletti right back they could've exposed the weakest link in Man Utd defense who's without a shadow of a doubt Rio. I would've sacrificed Makelele and Malouda for Anelka and Baletti...I know Grant thought that he couldn't contain Ronaldo but then again even Essien failed to contain him but what I would've done is ask Essien to double team on Ronaldo and help out Baletti and deny Ronaldo to get one-on-one opportunity with the right-back just like Gatusso of AC Milan did and when on attack Essien would've provided you that extra attacking option which Makelele can't and I'm sure he would've destroyed Utd midfielders with his power and energy which he has in abundance...Mekelele gave two of their midfielders bloody noses the ref. proved to the world that he wasn't going to have a good game when he unjustly booked Makelele...but then again I'm only expressing my opinion. The commentator mentioned an interesting statistic last night when he said there are only 5 teams from the European capital cities that ever won the European Cup now known as the Champions league and I got four names but can't seem to figure out the last one and here are those that I got, Real Madrid (Madrid) Benfica (Lisbon) Ajax (Amsterdam) Steau Bucharest (Bucharest) so let's see if any of you can get the the other name. PS. Congrats to Winger for the historic double. Salam Aleikum W.W Peace, Love & Unity.

Fully, Truly Yet Sadly Yours: I freeze with fear amidst the lingering autumn cold breeze watering eyes give way to battering memories of you mind marred with flashbacks that you cruelly barred words pierce my chest like thousands of poisonous swords I float between sanity and insanity in a blink of my teary eyes while sleeping I call out your name for my heart is weeping I shake with sadness every time the head mentions you I tumble with grief and mourn for my shattered dream of us I crowned you with love while you lent me your disowned suffering I wrote you a note with a universal language you understand not hoping your heart would translate my passion before its too late you betrayed my prayers yet I paint your portrait in pure gold blame me not for failing to tame your precious and wild heart I hold you in high esteem and your story will forever be told you add grace to amazing and brought indescribable feeling to me when we converse clouds walk by in wonder and stars wink with joy no ink is worthy enough to draw the shine in your pretty eyes your smile is my sickness that I wholeheartedly yearn and crave for forget not that I shall forever be fully, truly yet sadly yours. Aaaah the sweet wonders of youth. Peace, Love & Unity.

Serenity...My Dear Girl... not everybody in here is a university graduate like you...I know that the rest of us here mix and match when it comes to English language but remember we are not doing it to wind up those superior beings among us but we are doing it because we don't know any better. Forgive me your royal highness...your majesty Serenity but what is face-book? However, a Somali guy will often go through the trouble of writing a long and often could-b-great-otherwise message (like trying to introduce himself), yet pay no attention to his spelling or grammar? I mean, spell check is everywhere if one cant spell, and if one cant write a language very well, why write in it at all? I would much rather receive/read a well written Somali message than a badly written English one any day. Are you asking me to write you a letter in (af Carabi?) ok here it goes. Hi, my name is Jeelle Geelle Dheere, I'm 4'10 and weigh 425 Kg depending where you look...I'm 40ish going on 60, I would like to believe that I have a fair complexion but everybody tells me that I'm navy blue with goofy teeth that is said to be visible from two miles away... My hobby is eating a mass meal 6 times a day and sleeping 18 hours a day...I exercise a lot...a lot more than I should actually because I play Play-station a lot and my favourite game is Ominusha Warlords...I'm friendly (let's face it...some one like me BETTER be friendly otherwise who's going to be friends with ugly, overweight rude fellow like me?) I'm romantic (depending how you define the word itself). I am a 21st century African male with the 10th century ideologies, I believe the best place for women is at home where they're protected from the ills of this sickening world we find ourselves in today...I believe women should cover themselves and SHOULD be married as early as they hit puberty...I believe women should never wear pants and NEVER EVER reveal her body to every monkey on the street by wearing skimpy clothes... If I speak about my personal preference...if she's smoker or chews jaad, don't even bother never mind drinking and women who wear too much make up and end up looking like a ghost disgust me...I'm never attracted to the girls who wear lipstick...yuck wipe that thing off girl...you look like a shimbir...don't wear pants and don't ever wear dirac in public and please cover your hair...you look much better when you do..trust me on that. Other than that...you're beautiful and I would like to make you my lucky Wifey number 4 so if you want to contact me please do so by calling me on this number...089-000-1981 or send me an email at hayaay-bahalka@hotmail.com once you contact me, I promise you, your life will never be the same (I'll ruin everything including your shapely figure by turning you into a baby machine) . I feel your despair but do you fel mine? PS. now how's that for a letter and what do you think of my grammar and spelling? Peace, Love & Unity.

Shaabi: It should be noted that Majengo is no Sarengetti -- you won't risk lion attack goin fron duqush to duqush through kamiinada jaciinka Kulbiyoow or Badhaadhe or even Laheloow maybe but BOB ahem perhaps mistakes curi for lion Haha easy there. These people here have no clue where Majengo is but mind you there are few other ghettos in East Africa called Majengo...Kulbiyoow, Badhaadhe, Leheleey, Canjeel, Cag-Libaax & Habaar-Waalid...those places were full of human eating Lions and my uncle (May Allah s.w have mercy on his soul) used to tell us about the lions he shot...mistaking Curi for a Lion? ...Classic. You would think that you're in Rio De Janeiro' Copacabana when you're at Maputo or Luanda beaches...beautiful weather, beautiful white sandy beaches and beautiful bilcaamo but these days I am Stevie Wonder when it comes to Bilcaamaha...I hear them but I can't see them. in downtown Maputo there's an avenue called Siad Barre Ave because I'm told by Mozambicanos that Somalia played an active role in liberating Mozambique from the hands of the Portuguese and our late president was good friends with Samora Machel. Harare is unbelievably beautiful...it used to be clean with less traffic but these days its overcrowded and there are rubbish lying everywhere and like I said before it's the only country on the planet where one can be a billionaire in dollars and broke at the same time...but Victoria Falls is the place to go if you want to be amazed...your boy Abdi Ali 'Elaay' is the undisputed King of Lusaka. Bro...I'm an African so you know that I'm not good at keeping time or journal that's why I can't post an update of my travels which even Gulliver would've been jealous of but don't worry you will have a ball when you come here Insha Allah...waxaan ka cabsanaa inaa diido inaa noqoto like some guys I know. Biyo-Lily: Well Bob, everybody likes gifts and small tokens but there is something perversely wrong about trying to buy a woman's affection, it shows insecurity and can make one uncomfortable, obliged and at worst insulted. Generosity is not limited to money. I know that everybody likes to be showered with gifts every now and then and that's normal as far as I'm concerned but what would happen if I mistake your generosity for stupidhity? ^^^and about buying a woman's affection is something that you'd normally associate with guys from out of town in other words G’s ama Dhooros because they don't know what on earth they would talk about with Abaayo Heeleey who likes to discuss about the latest Hindi movie and its intriguing plot (like Indian movies actually ever had one) and I totally agree with you about the insecurity...girls dig confident guy but one mustn't over do the confidence thing to an extent that it becomes unattractive quality and could easily be seen as an arrogance and my old man warned me about that as he said..Arrogance Breeds Ignorance and yeah generosity has no limits because Faarax wears his heart on his full of badges macawiis and there's nothing more precious than being lent to one's heart PS. Af Soomaaligaa idilay...If language could talk...the Somali language would've sued you for merciless battery...lol Before you make a quick dash for my throat and squeeze the little life out of me please let me explain...I can never ever make a case for a Faarax as long as Somalia remains the situation that it finds itself in today and there's nothing that I dislike more than the guys who wolf whistle at the ladies...I would beat the living daylight out of any guy I find doing that to my daughter...Am I being a hypocrite here? b I don't know...I may have done it in my adolescence years and I did it maybe because I didn't know better but these days you'd find grown men doing it whish is SHAMEFUL because they can't say they were young..uh-uh they are not...in fact they are too old for such monkey business. Sorry madam...no uh-uh...I wasn't referring to a boy who bought casho for the girl that he had a crush on with his pocket money, no...in fact far from it... my point of this whole topic is purely to re-build the bridges between the brothers & sisters and I don't know if its only me or you guys feel the same way...I feel like we don't trust each other anymore and all we do is point the finger at each other which I find childish to be honest... I don't have a problem with you ladies being Qaali and all that...in fact I prefer classy girls but what I do have a problem with is when a girl makes ridiculous demands just because she saw her fav. actor/actress making oneon TV or she read it in a book written by her fav. author...let's be honest here today's women are influenced by TV and Magazines hence their unreasonable demands that they comeup with every now and then and I would hate to be with a girl who has an eye on my financial status and the other eye on the TV...and yes the ladies from yester year chose their companion for what he was and not what he had...most beautifulgirls would end up marrying a mere herder after turning down to marry his boss with thousands of life-stock...and yes gabdhaha waqtigaas jiray waxey ka karti badnaayeen kana shaqo badnaayeen ragga maanta jira badidood including yours truly here but they were not interested in money or social status unlike their counterparts in modern times...for example my Hooyo's meher was a set of gold (Ok they were Cousins but so what...she had a right to ask for more) and I'm sure there were many Hooyos who have asked for far more less but do you honestly think a girl would get married today without Loui Vittone bags, latest bling from Tiffany's etc...I am not saying it's impossible to find but we both know that's its rare...and the meher?oh my God...some will even ask you for $100,000 as their meher...are you kidding me? Rag, waa raggii aabaheeey wallee, iska daa! I totally agree because in those days there were no Gold-Diggers. Salam Aleikum W.W Peace, Love & Unity.

Salam Aleikum W.W Welcome to my domain ladies and gentlemen and please be seated and let me tell you a story... I was chatting with my old girl (my companion, my army of children's mother...the lady whom her parents made me pay 100 she-camels for her company) just the other night while sipping some Waarikow under the stars on a beautiful african night when we started discussing about the courtship of today's young people and I realized how hard they made it for themselves compared to us... Today's courtship is a grueling contest where one is expected to buy expensive casho, flowers, chocolates, perfumes, lingerie, remembering birthdays, feminine day, masculine day, manicure day, pedicure day, hair extension day, waxing day and all the other silly dates that never meant anything to you and when the inevitable happens and the courtship ends as they usually are...you will realize you spent fortune on monkey business and like the true sorry Faarax that you're...you start spreading sick lies about the girl and end violating her honour simply because she kicked your dusty behind that's only good at being a multiple employee on various companies around town to the curb. These days its very expensive inaad bilcaan shukaansato and even more expensive to keep her unlike our good old days where one wasn't expected to treat her like she was your child (let the parents buy her what she needs)...but we used to sacrifice a lot just to have a glimpse of her...we'd walk miles in the predator infested jungle so we could hear her sweet voice...singing like an Angel in a dreamy voice that cause goose pumps to all over your body the minute you heard it...some times you would walk half the night to get to her and by the time you got there three quarters of the night has already elapsed and you never get disheartened...not at all...in fact you blame it all on yourself and you make a promise to yourself that you'd walk faster tomorrow night so you'll get there while she's still awake... We never had cell phones to send text messages to let her know that you're on your way and she should wait for you...we never had the privilege to send an e-mail or msn where you could basically tell her how you feel about her and perhaps even make her feel the same way about you (if you played your cards right)...the only time we interacted was when we met at dance gigs...yeah the folklore dance gigs where you had every single guy strutting his stuff and if you were not a good dancer or had a way with words then you had no chance with the Qalanjos...I guess that's why my generation were wordsmiths. Countless guys lost their lives to the predators namely to the Lions walking in the jungle all alone in a pitch-dark night yet I still say we had it easy compared to these city-slickers who have not the slightest of clue how to attract a bilcaan without showering her their hard-earned cash...because to be honest you don't want to be a bilcaan who can't see beyond your wallet to begin with and the same goes for the ladies too. These days when two young people meet...after few hours they declare to each other their unconditional 'Love' for each other and on third day they 'know' all about each other (if you know what I mean) and they get married with a lavish ceremony and spend all their life savings and on their first disagreement...BOOM they throw in the towel and head for the divorce courts simply because that union was doomed for the get go. (Yawning) Mmmmhhh...Darn I haven't had enough sleep las night...I will come back when I'm bit fresher and the mind bit sharper and don't even bother asking me when that will be... Peace, Love & Unity.

You know there are more people in SOL that know your Qabiil than those who doesn't...Think about it. ****I have a friend who enjoys embarrassing me and whenever he meets some one from my Qabiil he brings him to me and even tells them my sub-clan and he'll be like "Hey BOB meet ina adeerkaa and he turns to the fellow and tells him my father's name and stuff...that boy is crazy...I once received a call from him at 3 am in the morning and guess what he did? He introduced me to this guy who was marrying a girl from...yep you guessed it and he said "I thought you should get to know your brother-in-law  ". but wouldn't you know it...I got my revenge and these days he doesn't even mention Qabiil name let alone mine. I got not qualms about Qabiil but what I can't stand is Qabyaalad especially when a grown man beats his chicken like chest and without a hint of a shame claims to be a 'Laan-Dheere'. Goodness me what a ridiculous statement for a man to make and then there are those who claim to be 'Gob' oh yeah if you're Gob...anigana geed talaal aan ahay ka waran hee! There was this guy from my old xaafad who wanted to marry qoftoo in Nairobi back in the day and she told him inuu Aabeheed ka doono...my old buddy went to see her old man and after a while and few cups of tea later...the old man dropped the bomb on him..."Adeer horta adigu qolomaa tahay?" my buddy being the ciyaal xaafad that he was replied "Hehe-hehe Adeer Aniga Beezaani aan ahay hehe hehe" "Adeer Beezaani yuu ku abtirsadaa?" the old man asked naming the three major Somali tribes..."Sadexdaasba shaqo kuma laha Beezaani" claimed my old friend...the old man sensing something was amiss here asked the young man to bring his elders day so and so at such and such time. now being a true Beezaani my friend didn't bother looking for old men whom he wasn't familiar with but he gathered few guys that he was comfortable with and brought them to the future wife's home...to cut long story short the old man lost it when he found out that these guys were not from the same tribe as the guy who was asking his daughter's hand in marriage and worse the guys he brought themselves all belonged to different tribes and the old man thought the guy belonged to the qabiilada ey Soomaalidu yasto and he said it so and that's when my friend hit the roof and told the old man "Gabartaada Wajiga Saaro" after few scuffles and booto iyo I will do this and that to you...the old man was finally told which tribe my old buddy belonged to and guess what? They both belonged to the same tribe...in fact they even belonged to the same laf iyo jilib and the old man happened to have known my buddy's grandfather while still alive...now who's the monkey with the tail between his legs? Salam Aleikum W.W Peace, Love & Unity.

Valley Of The Wolves: I open up a window to my soul revealing what eyes can see not listen to the sad sermon of my heart through its beat I hail from the distant land that Love denounced and death embraced where division reigns over unity and poverty over prosperity follow my footprints as they lead you through the valley of sorrow our children massacred and all that was sacred and scared I am plain is the pain I feel deep inside that is unbearable sisters raped by the blood thirsty enemy brothers brought hush beloved princess and hide your honour in the darkness fate betrayed you in the daylight and I, Somali man failed you Mr President...life without dignity you lead for you lost your sanity you serve our enemy that's inferior for you know not we're superior you bribe him with your brother's blood like the seasonal ripe fruit the blood of the infants you feed on for you're blinded by greed history will tell your tale and all the hell you put us through you lit the fire that destroyed our once mighty kingdom famine followed in the clicking heels of feast of the open season you interrupted the victory parade of the fallen heroes you stained almighty's present with the blood of the innocent you'll reap in the hereafter what you're sowing in this life for destiny improves not in your valley of the wolves. Peace, Love & Unity.
