  1. Forget faroole and Xaabsade, we know neither one is really that interested in affairs of SSC but for what they gain out of it personally, this is Silaanyo's loss, he has made a colossal miscalculation that will have push this issue to the point of no return, sewing the seeds of hatred between Somaliland and SSC. In my personal opinion, never has the inevitability of separate destinies between East and West in northern Somalia been more clear...

All we know is what we're told by our elders told by their fathers told by his father and by his forefathers so on and so forth? Think about it. Peace, Love & Unity. 8. am all for fair trade but seriously a 100+ sneakers from ethiopia. If it takes people a few dollars in china, shouldn't be less in ethiopia. another thing, they should have nice but desecrate logo. otherwise am all for supporting african businesses, usually don't drink much coffee, but when I do, I make sure its kenyan or ethiopian. and speaking of supporting African businesses, where can one get that honey from Ceerigaabo people.

  12. am happy at the fate of that useless autocrat but whats next, history is filled with middle eastern revolutions ending in disasters like hamas, hisbullah, talibans and ahmdinijads....the proverb careful what you wish for comes to mind
  13. so there is law in the books passed by the parliament named unislamic behavior in Somaliland? does this law apply if your wearing shorts in berbera too? I was under the impression judges interpret laws, not make them....
  14. LOL@ Sensei, for once in my lifetime, I would like to see a confident and articulate person speak on behalf of Somalis. For a supposed professor at an american college, I for one have been mislead by all the huuhaa surrounding the appiontment of this man. Many come to mind in fulfilling that wish, even on this forum (Ngonge, Sensei and who wouldn't love to see Kool Kat given that chance, lol) Secondly, why all the secrecy with this arms deal, as the head of the of government literally hanging off a cliff, you would think they would jump up at owning up to any effort to beef its forces up embargo or no embargo, wth?
  15. maxa tiri bob? come see me? seriously wat? what grade are you in dude and so much for peace love and unity captain hater, drop that slogan... as for the kid, am the only one that was holding my breath that the Stockholm bomber was not Somali? seriously people, in a world the word Somali is synonymous with christmas tree bombers, alshabaab, pirates, prostitution rings, warlords, lawlessness....i'll be damn if I worry about a Kid doin his thing on the dance stage. On behalf of all sane Somalis, all three of us, thank you mo for showing there is more to Somalis then bombings, beheadings and the commandeering of ships in the high seas.

One can interpret what that fact entails, whether the stability they brought to Merca, Baydhabo, and Kismayo is sustainable, but the existence of such stability should not be a moot point. You know what else is a fact? They have killed innocent people. compared to that, the "facts" you suggest are really a moot point...
  17. i dont know what the heck bob's rant is about but this is a talented kid, best of luck to him...lol@ JB let me know when you do find any solers who know him

  19. I see no avatar yet but I used the option to upload one of Ben Franklin flying a kite. Why did I choose it? He is the perhaps the greatest man to hail from Philadelphia if not the country and because he was a renaissance man and I aspire to be such a man one day...how is it that America such man to lead in it nascent stage and buffoons today was always a life-long un answered question of mine... Was thinking the profile pic and the avatar were the same but never mind, so much for a Kite flying Ben, lol A turkish flag it is, why? Ataturk style secular revolution is what our part of the world is in need of the most in my opinion...
  20. for those complaining about avatars, at least you have one
  21. so can we get a concise guide to the new features admin, moderators? btw excellent avatar for xaji up there, lol
  22. So let me get this right, 19 year old kid plans to kill hundreds of people, seeks the means to do so, is handed a fake bomb, presses the button only to be arrested and people have qualms about the intention of the agents rather then the one who intended to kill hundreds? Really? Am starting to think a few people in here should be taken with him. This very attitude is the reason why we are the only community, despite being the smallest, that headlines on a nearly daily basis with "prostitution rings" "american mosques being used to recruit youngsters" shabaabs and endless piracy and drug smugglers. some of you people here are the enablers for the mentality that leads to these things making the name Somali synonymous with everything criminal. here to hoping that ungrateful little miscreant gets life or is sent back on the first flight to the desert...
