This discussion is a repugnant reminder of past we were supposed to have left behind. As stake here is a fate not of only kismaayo but three regions.

Hold on a minute though, as a only homogenous nation in Africa where the people share the same ethnicity, language, culture and religion, can any inter-Somali violence ever be discribed as genocide? I think not because us a fundamental misunderstanding of what the word means. Further more in the title, the date and location is very specific, it does not say a genocide between years so and so where one group was targeted for this and that. This is a rape of the English language in my opinion.

What exactly is he wrong about?
-
Yet am not if this is do to sheer ignorance or that gross exaggeration has become normal among Somalis. Not really sure which would worse

Your argument Abwaan, should be that this government is fully representative and is capable of building a national army that is equally representative of all the segments of society and you said this and did that. FYI during Abdullahi Yusuf presidency, it was sink or swim, a fledgling government that was fighting for its life in provincial capitals. This Government has full international backing and controls large portions of the country directly or by proxy. Sure it has enough breathing room to tread carefully concerning this issue, why would anyone be against that? In all honesty, I am personally undecided about this, I do not have enough information to say this admin is not ready or is. Yet there is a ring of truth and logic in the arguments of those calling for more deliberate steps in the formation of a national forces.

Simpletons, one can support this government and it's attempts to bring Somalia back from the cliff and at the same Criticize itfor not being representative. Hasan has declared that he will no longer abid by the 4.5 formula. That's all fine and will unless that means that you mean every and all things will be filled by "your people". Overcoming past mistakes requires fairness 4.5 or no no 4.5. So far, this president has failed in this respect. In our eagerness to see Somalia stand on its feet, lets not forget the fairness that is required for this country to stand in its feet again. Injustice and unfairness is a bad start. Be it the formation of a national armed forces or political appointments. wish this president all the luck in the world but would still like to see him acting like a national leader rather the the governer of a region.
