Proffesor Samatar: Only some tribes can be a president in Somalia

Xaaji Xunjuf;929742 wrote: Naxar are you saying reer Somalia ilahay ba u qoray inay mar walba xukumaan reer Somaliland na ay daba fadhistaan, reer Somaliland inay aqbalaan.Lets just say if Somalilanders ruled for the past 50 years how do you think koonfurians would have felt Obviously professor samatar is the last remaining unionist because he thought you could share something with Koonfurians he was proven wrong. The union it self in 1960 was wrong the foolish SL politicians were naive and were dreaming of an elusive Somali empire. I believe if the union never happened Somaliland today would have been more developed in technology infrastructure and even more advanced as a nation. Union with Somalia brought only misery war famine not just for Somalilanders but also for Koonfurians the Somalilanders shock the foundation and the Political culture of the Koonfurians. Sometimes you just have to accept your differences in order to co exist. And professor samatar is slowly seeing the light that there is nothing in Xamar for him. 1, Cigal yuu daba fadhiyah? No thats not what am saying at all. I honestly coudn't care who ruled as for 50 years "konfurians" or "somalilanders". Honest to god I would be happy if a bajuni from our southern Swahili coast ruled us. We have lost what it means to be Somali. From jibouti to Kismaayo, harar to mogadishu. wishful thinking yes but, just because somaliwein is not an option, does that mean we become cannibals and gulp up in mini clan fiefdoms what we control of ardu Sooomaal. The simple truth is this haajiyow, if there is nothing between you and Somaliwain, there is nothing between you and rer awdal or rer bari. Somalinemo is the only thing between us. So when you demonize "Konforians" know that your demonizing people supposedly in your idea of Somaliland. Ruunta! -

yo mintid am done brother, what is the need to know what an ambassador thinks when the facts are right in front of you? lol Oodka, lol, the Secretary of states words are not guarded at all, very simple: nation to nation, sovereign to sovereign, we will let Somalia decide........... never the less I appreciate the effort to turn water into wine. Such a shame madame Fawzia doesn't have on her corner. -

dual track aside are you seriously suggesting that an ambassador or special rep as you put it has more say in policy making? -

Naxar Nugaaleed replied to Mintid Farayar's topic in Politics
mintid am sorry if I came of as angry, that was not the intention. see the us already has a public policy toward Somalia that comes from the highest office in the nation when it comes to foreign affairs. you came in here with an ambassadors supposed to opinion, to be honest i didn't watch. I then tried correct you and point you to the correct US policy towards Somalia. The Good xaaji barges in saying and you echo the same none sense about what the secretary of state said even though I have posted for you to see exactly what Madame Hilary actually said. and for good measure you through in accusations of naivety and grabbing at straws when really it is you that is doing that. I have noticed bad trait of yours that I am too familiar with, rather then presenting your argument, you appeal a supposed knowledge only you are privy to and charger people with naivete. So where did we go wrong, perhaps me interring this debate to began with lol -

Naxar Nugaaleed replied to Mintid Farayar's topic in Politics
why do we have to "believe" anything? The government does allocate aid money its given to all regions. and what are these international actors your speaking of? everything is done with the consent of the government in Mogadishu. All these makes it sound like there is a flurry of diplomatic activity and reconstruction aid going on in hargeisa which is not the case. but good luck with you dual track and international community -
U.S. Dual Track Policy in Place for Somaliland - U.S. Amb.Swan
Naxar Nugaaleed replied to Mintid Farayar's topic in Politics
Mintid not really sure what sort of diplomatic dictionary you are using but we will be a sovereign to sovereign and Somalia will make its own decisions from now sounds pretty clear to me, not sidestepping anything. If there is a "dual-track" dealing with Somaliland, it is with the consent of the Somali government in Mogadishu. and if anyone is grabbing at straws it is you coming in here with this none sense about dual track to console and convince your self that a completely thoroughly shut door remains ajar. -
professor had a bad experience in xamar lol. i know personal experience dont proof anything but I have to say, clan or for that matter sub clan talk is all most never ever absent from northern gatherings but almost never in Konfurian gathering xaajiyow. This could just mean konfurians are secretive (or ilbah as they would) and northerners keep real lol

U.S. Dual Track Policy in Place for Somaliland - U.S. Amb.Swan
Naxar Nugaaleed replied to Mintid Farayar's topic in Politics
So we have moved into a normal sovereign nation to sovereign nation position, and we have moved into an era where we’re going to be a good partner, a steadfast partner, to Somalia as Somalia makes the decisions for its own future. Looool at u guys, no doubt we are known fardaha nugaal but that's not what I was getting at. One would just think all the donkeys in xamar or even a city name after the animal would have more then LA but I'll just leave it there. Sadly according to wiki there are less then a 1000 in the wild.

But there donkeys everywhere

Are they rebuilding the cathedral?

This sounds absurd, that of all the dameer in Somalia, it's concentrated in las Anod or that it's in any danger of extinction. Or do have different breeds.
