UN: Puntland More Populous Than Somaliland---Somaliland Snaps @ UN

seriously that google maps comments cracked me up, am now gonna go see if i can conduct census via google maps lol -
Am not going to pretend that I am privy to some sort of secret information which has become the custom in SOL but few things are clear. neither party going into this conference has a mandate to concede much ground. Silaanyo wont be able to sell to people in hargeisa who have for some odd reason have been clamoring for "recognition" for two decades to return to somalia overnight and president Hassan has better chance of sending a mission to mars then getting members of parliament to accept dismemberment. the likely scenario is a stalemate and a promise to continue these talks in another time and place. If we want to be optimistic though, this is not a Israel/Palestine negotiations, Somaliland can agree to shelf its bid for statehood for a certain period, peacefully resolve issues with its Eastern neighbors and Somalia can agree to a special autonomous status until the end of that period.

paradise is derived from an old Persian word for garden. so in paradise i would want an Alhambra or a hanging garden of Babylon or isfahani palace or a french menagerie such as Versailles. with its flowing rivers of water, milk, honey and wine (Persian gardens are actually planned around a fountain with four canals). it would music and art and genteel people and perhaps one of those winged horses and a slice of the Seychelles for a pool. Basically a medieval king lol

you think that if the government reopen embassies, it would share his with the Somali media, which I read and have yet to see. if you've seen any of this, do share please Chimera;935086 wrote: In 2014, the military will take over security and the economy will be up and running pumped with the investment gathered during the coming joint Somalia-UK hosted economic conference. this part sounds like wishful thinking but again, no one knows what the government's plans are let alone what will be. Oba, go chat with Alpha about his garden please -

The Prime Minister of Somalia, Saacid Faarax Shirdoon
Naxar Nugaaleed replied to Carafaat's topic in Politics
^ lol @ che lets not forget that this pm has been busy causing discord between people in this places his been visiting: Galmudug and Jubaland regions are now suspicious, there have been fighting in marka and might be one in gedo. There are far pressing stuff for this government to do then tours of any kind. from the little i can gleam, there are only two ministries functioning, foreign and interior. one is busy causing problems and the other has yet to reopen any embassies as far as I can till or reclaim national assets. Good luck though, if this government fails god knows if there is any hope for Somalia. -
I don't like this extravagant weddings but I feel the same way about drive through weddings too, either way, its always best to keep it moving

President Hassan must be impeached urgently to save Somalia
Naxar Nugaaleed replied to Abtigiis's topic in Politics
^ the constitution doesn't say don't fly to the moon but we can't lol. What it does say is that two or more regions can form their own federal states. If their are serious about this not sense, let appoint people to hargeisa, garowe, taleex and southern galkacyo. -
lets not go that route and attack each other. if this government wants to throw down the gauntlet over people trying to form a state and waste time and meager resources in fighting phantom enemies rather then deal the real ones at its doorstep and colossal work ahead of them, the only people they are a threat is to themselves. Gabbal there are too problems with your view of things. One, even if the government believes that they are in the right as for as this constitutional conflict goes (which would really lead one to question their competence or that they have sinister plans up their sleeves), is this the way to deal with it? two, you keep referring to madobe (not really sure if he is and them is fighting words lol) as a warlord behind this whole process, are we too believe that the 800+ people, elders, leaders, traditional leaders are all tools of madobe?

either that is the worst analysis in the history of SOL or the people in this admin are really retarded if thats the plan
-
should the admin in mogadishu even hints at such a ludicrous plan as you are suggesting, it will be the end what ever little confidence the Somali people have in that admin and far from turning a page to post civil governance a return to violence that can easily escalate civil era nonsense. Lets hope that attacking jubba is not what the admin in mogadishu is wasting precious time on
-
its funny how everyone sidestepped the misconduct of the federal government. The constitutional conflict between the jubba project and the federal government is not about parliamentary commissions that have yet to be appointed but does the government have constitutional right to obstruct a peace process to form a federal state and can they unilaterally appoint officials for local governments.
