My tribe: The next wave of terrorism in Somalia
Naxar Nugaaleed replied to Alle-ubaahne's topic in Politics
^ Which door knob are you related to? The Sayyid would turn over in his grave if he knew the likes of you had his image in their signatures. Castro, ciyaalnemada waa laga fiican yahay. And your really getting offinsive. If you think name calling is debate, perhaps there are a lot more better forums were you could do that. Who my relatives are is none of your business, as for door knobs, call it a day already, we got you, you have new vocab. As for the Siyad, I think the mere fact that you mention his name would make turn in grave, may God rest his soul. -
My tribe: The next wave of terrorism in Somalia

Did we throw out the golden rules. Why are now people allowed to advocate for clans? also, is it not against the rules to disguise clan name calling with things like "so and so's cousin and so and so's uncle"? -

Northerner"I wonder how Duke and his cousins will try to spin this one? " Will this is not one that requires a spin. People should be encouraged for trying to get their voice heard in the face of canadian weather of all things. What I want to know, though, is how you secesionist and new-found Mujahids, sheikhs, al and abu hebels now find it acceptable to dan the cloak of Somali nationialism and advocate hostility against a people who's sons you have claim just a year ago were closer to you anf for people you claimed that you did not share the same language and culture, who you also claimed were politically alian to you because you were the orphans of the English Queen. Guess know the sons of xamar are closer to you then the ones of Baidaba, bosasso and kismayo. Or is this a case of my enemy's enemy is my friend? On second thought, that does not work because they are both your enemies. How shameless Somalis and how short their memory is! -
keynan, there is no reason to invade that part of the country. When this government controls everthying from buhoodle to ras kamboni, it will show what farce this somaliland thing is to the world. They will understand that sooner or later, that Burco, hargeisa and berbera can never become a country and they will come to their senses.

unlike some people here, If I may give a realistic hint at what might happen is, this is what I bellieve will happen. First" everything henges wither or not the government is allowed to implement its mandate. Second: if that is the case, Somalia will be divided into federal states: Somaliland, Puntland, Midland, southwestern state, Benadir and Jubbaland. third:These state will each get some amount of reps in an election of a national federal parliament. fouth: The parliament will elect a president That president will form some sort of a federal government.

Oh my god, I see dead people! do you see them too?

mystic, I disagree with on couple things. you say "it didn’t matter what tribe or clan the majority of the ICU leaders were from" why does matter now that it is the government and not the ICU. You say that you did not support either group. I do not know for sure but I hope thats the case. Walaal, for the las time, the TFG is not made up all warlords. it makes no sense. At most we 20 warlords. The tfg Memebership is in the hundreds. Lastly, you ask that we stop comparing the TFG and the ICU. I think that is a good policy, yet I am not guilty of doing that because I am not camparing them but people's reaction the two entities.

MMA, this coming from "this guy dad badan uu ka raaye banooniga". you say this and you want to correct someones Somali? Isku Xeshood mr Banooniga.
-
it that so, sister, or do you want lessen his creditability he has by saying so. Serously though, why were the discussion of the ICU's clan inbalance side-stepped yet know its ok to piont to what clan is doing what. is the "holier-than-thou period of we are nationalist who do not consider that sort of things " over?

I find it really funny that a lot of people that few days ago scorned looking at the Somali politic through the lence of clan interest when we were telling them that the courts were composed of a single clan, who found it convenient to side step this comman denominator of Somali politics for the past 16 or 17 years now feel they should criticize the government of not being cognizant of it, A government composed based strict formula of equality. the hippocrasy!!!!!!! Have you people no shame?

The Clash of Civilizations: Reality or Illusion
Naxar Nugaaleed replied to Xudeedi's topic in Politics
Maakhir, you should try to read "The End of History and the Last Man" by Francis Fukuyama This is a more accurate describtion of what might happen. Even though reason conflict in the middle east, africa and terrorism realted conflict put doubt in this theory, it is more consistant then huntingtons. -
Baashow, waxa la yidhi:Miro faraqa ku jiro kuwo geed saaran looma daadiyo! This is as good as it get as I see it. I am starting to believe that an irreconcilable dichotomy between the wishs of Somlis back home and the diaspora. The first is driven by interest and the other by ideals. One thing is very clear, getting out of the mess that is Somalia will require people to be little bet more pragmatic. How can people demand an ideal salution to a most unideal setuation?

Koshin Mohamed: New Somali Ambassador to Washington
Naxar Nugaaleed replied to Peacenow's topic in Politics
I highly doubt this guy is who the TFG wants to be the ambassador to the US. Honestly dont know anything about the guy but if he 28, he has absalutly no experience to lead a deplomatic mission to the US. There far to many people whole lot more experience for this job but as I understand it , the government did not name anyone for this job. There people who just claim like the guy before him. I also wonder happened the Somali ambassador to the Un which is lately ran by the deputy. -
