two corrections: one is that this conflict is not nationhood vs clanhood. both these regions are clan entities. every part of somalia is now. the difference is should clan form its own country or should my clan seek autonmy within somalia. second, anwsering the not so obvious question: no Abdullahi yusuf is not trying to rule over another clans land while advocating for the independence of his clans region.
