  6. Why do you think they favour folks in xamar from Puntland, do they think they think the block are black Turks? If garowe was the capital of Somalia, they would've done exactly the same, most projects would've come to it and most resource would've been allocated to it. For the conference, look at its agenda, its dominated by development projects, such as water, electricity and sanitation, Turkey always re-iterated that they are fully supporting the road map and committed to it. Buufiska hala iska daayo oo umadda wax ha lala qaybsado.

  8. Fiqikhayre;834767 wrote: Moonlight where have the 400 million USD gone? Please can you tell me? How much has been spend on other parts of Somalia and where's the rest? Turkey is coming in just like the chinese with no transparency and moral compass and thus it's focusing on the centralist clowns and the looters of yesterday who changed shirts. We need to ask what Turkey is there for and what development they brought and how it was put to all the Somali people. I thank the Turkish Republic for coming to the aid of the Drought in southern parts of Somalia but it seems that it's humanitarian aid has moved into developmental and now political front. Turkey on itself cannot change the course of the Federal nature of Somalia. It isn't that powerful neither. First its their money and their cash and they have the right to choose how they wan to spend it, you are a typical somali who's in a rush and will knock anyone who doesn't agree, but remember Turkey is here to help us and we "all Somalis" can not afford to lose her, just wait and relax and they will be there to assist you in Puntland, I heard they already promised few projects like the airport of Galkacyo. Kii yimaadaba hadeynu cay iyo aflagaado kula kacno waa dhibaato, Fudeydkii iyo dagdagii soomaali lagu yaqiinay baa ina haya.

Fiqikhayre;834758 wrote: I really do feel for Turkey as it's faux pas is not on their part per se but ambitious southern politicians who made it a sport of hoodwinking people and nations through actions and words that do not represent the realities in the country. They're using Turkey for political objectives and feeding it wrong information deliberately about other parts of Somalia in order to make them look like if they were opposed to Turkey in their own words. Knowing the folks they will fail. No body is hood winking Turkey, do you think Yalaxow & Qanyare have the intellectual capacity to hoodwink them, you must be joking saxiib. Turkey is concentrating on Mogadishu because, first its the capital city of the nation, secondly: Muqdisho was the anchor which was holding back Somalia for the last 21 years with its wars and warlords and it should be fixed first. Turkey is a powerful nation with lots of cash to spend on somalia,, so Puntland and others should wait their turn for reconstruction projects. Mise Puntlandna waxay qaadatay falsafadii caydiid ee ahayd "Cadkanoow ku cunay ama ku ciidee"

  16. This decision came as a matter of principle, after Puntland and Galmudug recognized that the Turkish role in Somalia is a) misbalanced; b) objects to consulting the Somali people; c) politically motivated, in cohort with the foreign policy of some countries; and d) not transparent enough to for the people to make a sound judgment. Sad if true. Shameful to being the first one to fire on Turkey and accuse it of baseless accusations. We know where Galmudug is coming from, but is Puntland becoming a NOist state, where everything is NO. This is the funny part of the statement c) politically motivated, in cohort with the foreign policy of some countries; are these Somalis, or are they politically motivated foriegners?
  17. A serious Sheikh in Nigeria, Uganda, or Kenya, will have six wives. A Somali clansman will lend another money to start a business or give him credit, and if he doesn’t pay back, some musclemen will visit him and either break his legs, or chop off his head. You don’t find many broken-hearted Somalis who have been cheated out of their wealth by relatives the way you would a Muganda, Kikuyu, Hausa, or Luo. Business risk among the Somali is thus fairly low. Lots of cock and bull. what kind of sheikh marries more than 4 wives, or is he talking about Mormons. secondly, he is asserting that the trust which exists between Somalis is kept by force and leg breaking, he doesn't realize that somalis are muslims and trust is a key part of our religion, also the clan system makes sure you pay back what you ought others.

Even Faroole right hand men, Ilkajiir who always follow faroole with his many foreign trips have difficulty visiting his town now days. While Puntlanders are just asking themselves, where Faroole with Ilkajiir (the interior minister) next trip will be and how long he will be gone this time, the Somaliland defense minister is in Dhahar which is not far from Qardho, reqruiting more suldaans. This is total disconnection which nobody cannot hide any longer http://www.togdheernews.com/v2/?p=23593 Duufaan, your insulting a whole community by making them as if they are being bought & sold on cattle market by the highest bidder. its just east sanaag ppl are not confrontational and are always looking at the bigger picture, Peace.
