I think you forgot group #4 #4 The narcissist * The narcissist feels the need to have a lot of attention, adulation, admiration or subservience from others. * The narcissist is preoccupied with himself/herself, his/her preferences, needs and aspirations and with his/her fantasies of unlimited success. * The narcissist is devoid of empathy. * The narcissist often criticizes others. * While a narcissist might criticize others the narcissist strongly dislikes to be criticized by others. * While a narcissist might interrupt others in conversation the narcissist strongly dislikes to be interrupted by others. * A narcissist feels entitled to special privileges. * While a narcissist will often ask favours of others, he or she will feel no obligation to return favours and may strongly dislike it when others ask favours of the narcissist. * A narcissist will often expect others to fit in with the narcissist's plans. * When a narcissist is interrupted, confronted or contradicted, he or she may suddenly develop narcissistic rage

Aah, End of the week - I must say this week just flew by. Got a chuckle out of Larry King and Janet Jackson last night. I'm sure if Larry was a woman the words "Eating disorder" would be used. I propose he never again leaves his desk.

Raise a stink about what? - Killing Iraqis, Taking photos, or trading the photos for porn? Would you feel better if they sold the pictures for cash?

Not at all. 3rd watch was a cop show. so every episode had to have some sort of climax. The Wire is an on going story, some times there's action, some times not.... and its VERY GRITTY.

A&A, Intuition is a powerful thing and very intangible or quantifiable. It is one of the most important tools Allah (SWT) has given us. The ability to recognize right from wrong, or feel compassion or hate or fear even though no visible causes are present is sort of an Internal Alarm clock that should guide you. However, Logic and reasoning too are abilities Allah (SWT) has given us. Intuition works in flashes and independent of your control. However we cannot ignore the logic that we have to use to implement and action to the what needs to done. Intuition may have woken up that guy in the Village but Logic and reasoning made him try to save his neighbors. There's a 3rd element that just as important, and is INTENT. The truth behind everything you feel or do. Intent may not be visible, but it eventually shows in who you are and what you do. It easily overrides Intuition and hijacks logic.

I have my own explanations on these alleged crisis'. First off, Don't believe everything you read in a study. The sh!t ALWAYS has a slant depending on what they set out to prove. It makes sense to me that self confidence is a major factor in determining how you feel about choices you make in your life. If your unsure of what you're doing now, chances are high that you'll face a period of regret later in life. The feeling of "I could have done more" and "I'm not happy with where I am". Especially when the people compare themselves to peers who seem to be doing better than they are. Then there's an issue of Imaan. If you're in a general state of "Alxamdulillah" chances are you won't feel the need to be disappointed at where you are what you have. All those feelings of Mediocrity, inadequacy and inequality are rooted in a deep lack of faith on oneself and base human greed. Thats my take on it. .

Hope you didn't try to catch it in the middle. You should give it another try Che...start from season one. I've been with it since Season one...it starts off slow, But hands-down Best show on TV . Only 2 episodes left till its over for good. Season 1 - The streets Season 2 - The docks Season 3 - City Hall and the Politicians Season 4 - The schools Season 5 - The Media Its the realest portrayal of whats plaguing a lot of American cities. Corrupt politicians, indifferent teachers, frustrated cops and journalists that bend the news. Highly intellectual show. I doubt HBO will find anything as good as this. Best TV shows of ALL TIME

Westernizing Somali names as part of a new integration effort
underdog replied to Libaax-Sankataabte's topic in General
I was under the impression this was something only Pakistanis and Arabs did. "You gotta Get in where you fit in" may dheheen? "How about I just call you 'bob'?" "How about you don't?" I'm a lil confused about what the dilemma is... Is it some people trying to assimilate because life is easier when Tom, Dick and Harry can relate to you or are some of us immigrants/Muslims/Foreigners ashamed of where we come from and who we really are? Remember ? . -
Its 2008 people, World Laws have unanimously removed personal responsibility for acts of violence making Jealousy and Insecurity acceptable excuses for women. She's the real victim here. In a world dominated by appearance and social acceptance, she was emotionally and psychologically assaulted in her own home and was forced to defend herself. Like Naomi Campbell said “I just feel like I am a target,” the 36-year-old supermodel told Britain’s Sky News. “People have told me for months and years, ‘You’re a target’ but it’s only just kind of sunk in that I am a target.”
