  1. Aight I hate taking surveys especially when people tag me in FB.I like to believe I'm logical, straightforward, decisive, tough minded, and focused kind of guy. But I still wanna be highly curious, creative, energetic, spontaneous,Imaginative, intuitive, empathetic, and emotionally expressive, and have somewhat good social skills....Hmm is it possible? PS I took the survey and I'm GOLD

  5. Lol@Haneefa.....more like he is the inventor of the genre of Somali music.I thought all you needed to be a Somali music producer was a base, guitar, and keyboard. And ofcourse you gotta own a motorcycle too PS Did they shoot the video in an apartment hallway?
  6. When I read the article the "pirate money" kind of put me off.Though I still believe there are some hard working Somalis who are involved in many legitimate business in Nairobi. I particularly have a cousin who worked all his life in London and decided to buy properties in Nairobi and sell it back to his former collegues and friends in the UK.He is breaking the bank while seating on his behind in Nairobi.Somlis have been the movers and shakers of the Kenyan economy for a long time I'm not surprised that they are ahead of the natives a few steps ahead
  7. Che, I listened to the hearing this morning and it seems like one of the guy was tarnishing the mosque in MNPLS. Don't worry though these senate committees do have the habit of giving their time to any monkey who can raise the Homeland security from guarded alert to Orange level.I thought the whole Somali recruting thing was Isolated incident...

  12. Last day of spring break-I hate the thought of going back to classes on monday.Since I'm a poor student and couldn't afford a trip to Jamaica or one of the Islands I went to the world gambling scene of Atlantic city in New Jersey. There was nothing, but old people who were gambling addicts and people with money and their flashy cars! Trump plaza though beatiful was nothing, but full of trushy white folks gambling...next is NYC night-life today then the REALITY hits on monday morning!!
  13. If I run out of toothpaste or break my toothbrush would I be able to replace them easily? Is the cost reasonable or do I have to pay the equivalent of a family saloon? Ngonge, Forget about your smelly western toothbrush, its all about cadey Somali and I guarantee that your teeth will be cleaner and whiter than its ever been before. And no blooming colgate in sight. Though you can buy it from the shops that and Listerine I truly can’t leave with out Listerine. So fresh and so clean, clean. Love the burning sensation in my mouth I'd advice you to ignore this one and get you a travellers toothbrush and tooth paste package if not send me your mailing adress in Hargeysa I'll fedex you some....
  14. Tonight am off to Atlantic city (New Jersey) gambling my way all the way to the last cents....Aight before some religious knucklehead or a well meaning brother or a sister points out my weakness let me say this its all for fun and I might not gamble a cent of my money, but just want to see the environment....

  21. Malika, Its a bit sleepy town nowdays what I hear from sources.I think there is nothing you could do other visiting family homes. My uncle used to own a ranch there where you could have fed ostriches, but unfortunately the Boranas took over now. My mom was born near that ranch so are all of my mom side of the family! Though many of my family members moved now to places like Kajiado and Meru I still have a sister and some distance relatives there..Just try to stay safe and don't be out of the house after nine pm...from what they been telling me Its not that safe anymore ...
