  1. I hope that both sides will have an impressivelly conceptualized and well organized talks. The Sharif has also hinted that today..Many Somalilanders may have vowed with their heart to slough off any allegiance witH the south, but now is the time to show the rest of the world that they have reached the full florescence to show their maturity in sitting down with their sisters and brothers.I am sure that SL elected leaders will not tolerate any propaganda that hides anything that is riddled with corruption.Grandiosity and egoism aside the world is watching now more than ever
  2. Xaaji, niinkaan hakaabaqiin.......Did I mention he is married to Sijui lady....I have his 411
  3. Liban, that comment was in referance to comparison of SL news site. I know the limit of hadhwanaag when it comes to general issues about Somalia. You got a quote from another thread without clarifying what I was talking about..........................................................................................PS nimaankaan SSC weydhabadiikteen(sp?)
  4. Talexii, haa niin yahoow........sortaa like thorny to my taste.I was recently reading an editorial contribution where the writer took a trip to Djibouti. He was showering praises on a dictator.I. Think it is whoever the editorial is sleeping with that matters to them and not journalistic integrity
  5. You are right no one has monopoly to that heck just visit any SL site today and have a feel for the upsurge of Silanyo euphoria.Wardheer news editorial caught my attention with their bellyached importance on thwarting SL aspirations
  6. I am waiting for pedantry and misinformation from the contributors of wardheer news site. How the south has become the bellweather of influence in the outcome of the confrence.Too much puffed-up sense of self from the opinion page contributors.
  7. Carafat, I have been warned yesterday by Malika not Muddy-up the sijui name with my opinions.....Markaa magacaa igaareeb
  8. Ngonge, indeed a butterfly has flapped It's wings for Somalia. The truth is NOT hidden. One need only to digest the news to know the profound sense of uncertainities that awaits the Unionists. The difficulties of devising a constructive dialogue with SL is waiting them.Their oscillation between apathy and anger towards SL is NOT going to help them.As for their leaders it is time to stop personal priorities to the detriment of national interest. No more bent recollection for them.
  9. Abtigis, Paragon of purple prose and Somaliland hysteria.............
  10. Talexi, You lot are focusing on my abtirsimi instead of focusing on what is right and working. I have identified what I believed in regard to reaching a stable Somalia, but you chosed to ignore it all.More often than not , people corner others to say what is not on the table as a result of being overwhelmed by the very thing they accuse others of.I will urge you guys to focus on the positve and on the solution that will benefit you.If you focus on my clan this will lead to feelings of utter loathing. The only reason I love this site is because of baning clan
  11. Aaliya, my sister let me make CLEAR to you that I don't SPEAK for a clan.Anything I say here is purely my OPINION.Brother Xiin asked me for opinion and NOT my CLAN.....I understand why you mad and let anger cloud your writtings
  12. Malika, I think i was as clear and honest with my opinion as one could without hiding behind any slogan. Now my opinions may vary from many hardcore Somalilanders..I credit my skills of avoiding conflict and forging compromise to my sujuiness...
  13. Xiin, in all fairness there is nothing i can go by to evaluate his performance. He was NOT a speaker during the conference.I don't know what was said behind closed doors, but if we go by the final communique he didn't sign anything damaging the aspiration of Somalilanders. He will go down in SL history as the new architect for the new edifice of participating in Somalia conference( if Somaliland convinces the rest of the world that Somalia and Somaliland can not forge a peaceful transition to one unified country.)His bold move has rang warning bells from opposition and luckily he didn't sign anything that was going to spark a backlash of resentment. The issue of Somaliland is NOT an easy one.We can trace such sentiment to the aspiration of a whole generation brought up in SL sovereignty.I will be lying if I say things will look rosy and people in their element will rise above the conflict and confusion of Somalia/Somaliland issue, but we can be hopeful that both parties will raise above their inherent limitations and sit down together and solve their issues.I support Somaliland today because i see the beauty of what they have achieved and only when the south can promise a responsible guardianship of their peace and prosperity will i change my stand.... PS: You are asking a sijui for an opinion..Wait now for the guru and crew take on this issue...haha
  14. Che, haha...you are right. Its in our genes..I have visited that site many times during the run-up to SL election they were NOT fair and balanced.I just camp in Hadhwanaagnews nowdays.....
  15. This was an opposition leaning website. It is a good process of democracy to disagree with the ruling administration. Something Somalia can learn from Somaliland, perhaps?
  16. Predictably, nothing changed for Somaliland. The warm reception of Somalis will quickly chill come August when all the issues addressed in this conference come in head with the five hundred or so parliamentarians. The world has made promises and it is up to the Somalis now to make their choice. The only thing that will delay the implementation of all those points agreed on will be Somalis themselves. Contrary to what xiin wants us to believe, In part, many of the insanity of Somalia always emerged as a direct product of lack of one unified voice. It would be great to HOPE that a new crop of leaders will emerge ready to pursue a series of actions that will match, what the international community expect of them. The very process of seating down with the rest of Somalia will require a movement that will invoke vision and energy towards building a new nation. With every indicator testifying to the depth of division within Somalia it would be hard to see that any near future. PS Someone contact me how i can send my hundred dollars re-election of his excellency president Silanyo..hahha
  17. Ngonge, I warned our friend Xiin yesterday NOT to build much hope around this confrence. If pictures worth a thousand words just look at how 4ilanyo kept his distance in that picture. The whole thing is just a flash in the pan hahaa
  18. The supreme irony of Xiin position is that he thinks Somaliland is a country (region for the ghastly propagandist) that can easily be brought back to the fold just because his Puntland enclave has gushed some phantom oil to pimp the rest of the people. This conference is NOTHING more than another useless diversionary goose-chase to tackle piracy and security while entertaining a broken dream of bringing peace to Somalia.Somaliland is NOT a movement that started with a song and a dance on a western city dancehall.Like I said before when the dust settles and everyone goes back to their enclave Somalia will still be the problem child and Somaliland will still be chasing the dream. The imperial prescription of the WEST will NOT solve the bigger broader picture.
  19. Xiin, I will like to muse that Somaliland and Somalia are NOT ready for union at this point.Maybe ten or fifteen years down the road after the quest for recognition fails and Somalia gets its chattering clans into one voice.I will be disappointed if Silanyo throws the towel in so easily and hurriedly signs a piece of paper with a disorganized Somalia.Somaliland is today reaping the benefit of standing alone and faces its challenges far better than the south...let the show begin in London and see how this comes out....
  20. xiin, such stand was broadly voiced by the UK government before, so what is new?Don't be thrilled by what you already know-Somaliland is NOT getting recognized in this conference, but Of course Somaliland is easily accustoming itself to the prospect of convincing the world why it should be recognized after this conference.. There is a considerable obstacle standing in the way of recognition for Somaliland and that is the African union. There is very real-some would say likely prospect that the rift between Somaliland and Somalia will widen after this conference. So don't take solace in the prime ministers words. After the dust settles and everyone goes back to their respected region you will be posting more analysis stories why the London conference failed Somalia (you will forget the system was already broken before the confrence)....I will be the first one to campaign against Silanyo if he signs anything resembling union with the South...dead serious
  21. When I want to curse someone under my breath I use Somali words.I can easilly call someone NACAAS and call him hoyadha buufkeet....When I want to make ethical or even rational decision I use Engish.....When I want to do some Ibada I go for Swahili easy to beg Allah with that languag....Majority of time Somali so I must irrational and abusive most of time....Hauuchochin atitude haha
  22. I don't know if it can be used in all of Africa but it has been widely spoken in East Africa. This is a language that has survived complex history. It is easy and generally big Islamic influence..Maneno yenye asili ya kiarabu ni kama fifty percent.Ni lugha Yenye lahaja nyingi sana. Its a beutiful language with a moralistic tales based on Islam.
  23. My neighbour-reer xamaar-drop some KASHATAA in my house yesterday.Nice lady....Only Sijuis and reer maagaal like reer Xamaar will know how sweet the darn thing is....I have a weakness for Xalwaa and Kashataas.....
  24. Having listen to the clip all I see is vulnerable youth tricked into fighting against a phantom force of evil and unbeleif. These unholy warriors will face the wrath of the merciful creator.Their motivation is political rather than theological. It is hard to reason with people that are holding exclusivist view of the world.
