This is the guy Ngonge was talking about? Makes a lot of sense.I thought I was reading our resident SSC supporters shrill attack on SL with usual bewilderement and anger. Not surprisingly, his main argument rested On SL being a one clan project. His second point, though a bit exagerated, viewed as if Awdal and his state as independant from SL influence. The author fall short of flattering and wooing me to believe that SL cares for current or future Somali constitution. In a country where already exist its own constitution they will see no need to be dazzled by its opponents constitution. The road is long and bumpy. To reject the influence of SL as a failure is leaving some difficult questions unaswered by the supporters of state formed on a dancehall. The answer is to be found, of course, when one understands what it takes to build a state.

Khaatumo complains about the garowe clan enclave interference
STOIC replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Swahili sayings comes in mind when I think about the three president....Wapishi wengi huharibu mchuzi...too many cooks spoil the broth.I try to avoid commenting directly on Khatumo issues, their supporters on this site take SOL banter too damn serious -
Yaa Ushegaa...lilke a high school romance, youthful attraction to an unlikely team can linger for a long time.We clearly understand that as sports fans, but damn the romance is Over....hahha

Somaliland has become a fixture of the seemingly endless loop-hooled argument by the Pirateboys.Just when I thought their ideas will dry up like a slug in a Mogadishu pavement, they come with the old tiring unflashy arguments.Their crusade is as much envy as it is political.

This mini-enclaves will soon sink down the memory hole.Soon or later they will shuck off this cursed treacherous road they taking and embrace peace .I didn't once dispute there are noises coming from those communities. It is something that SL will deal with it, but you guys want to compare SL to this mini-enclaves.I'm not surprised the widespread revulsion emanating from the Pirate-land also known for dictatorship and nepotism.

What the professor said broke no new ground. He just merely stated the FACTS. Contrary to the incessant bleating of the bed-wetting unionist the man just said how the history of the union was formed. There is little we can do for them if they keep deluding themselves to think that SL is equal to states formed on dance-halls and facebook groups.....

There is no goboosho. We just giving our boy a cautious winks before we loose him to deluge of oil money and he becomes an enigma wrapped in riddles. He is incredibly energetic, if not slightly crazy haha

Despite best of his intentions, he is a confused Mole J/K......Good guy with plenty of youthful innocense

Nassir, I wish it was that easy brother. Many in this forums may have taken my words as a hate towards Somalia, but i just didn't see anything that wins me yet to support that Kumbaya. We are just afraid in giving up our tangible peace and prosperity for unassuming marriage with south Somalia.I'm sure you support Makhiri state for a reason and a conviction deep down your guts (I Plead ignorance as I don't know where your border ends) and rightly so to its own merit.I'm doing the same here for my support of Somaliland. Somalia is stubbornly incapable of learning from its past mistakes, but I'm optimistic now that the worlds eyes is on the Somalia price.

Nassir, Despite your best intentions, you fail to realize that NFD today is far better than South Somalia. The very process of them dreaming in joining an embattled Somalia will evoke fears in them.Granted they have suffered many injustices under Kenyan rule. They have endured and today they have a new crop of leaders displaying great leadership for the rest of Kenya. From judicial autonomy building to election engineering mechanics. With this new crop of educated leaders being shepherd and moral voice of new Kenya, the future is bright for NFD......

There are good articulate people on this site the likes of Odweyne and Ngonge.Keep reading their opinions and you will be sold to idea of SL or you can choose to keep appeasing the bed-wetting unionist on this board abidingly...Many, participant and observers on this boards wil testify that the people i mentioned above have explained the SL stands clearly....Just keep reading and soon we will convert you from appeasing the benighted Lots

With the deluge of free oil money coming towards Faralo I think he got the lubricant of what it takes to win if he runs....Just imagine the Imam being the leader of Somalia and his son running as chief of staff....they will be dueling fatwas on opposition parties....joke

Carafaat;795597 wrote: Adeer, they are desperate for our help. Where in the world does a piece of land and a garde become a political issue with even deaths and firing of military leader(Seemaal). Instead of having a proper land law you would rather see illiterate's governing the land. How ignorent. I thought sijui's made sense. Carafat, you need political sobriety. It is hard to follow your stands on SOL.One minute you are sleeping with the bed-wetting Unionist the other minute you want to infuse your political vision on SL.Carafat, Swahiliga waxeey yerahthaan "pole pole ndio mwendo" (A slow pace is the way forward)....YOu just can't come out of nowhere and convince people how you have the key to their success. There is a Reason to believe that the likes of Warabe have a swagger that has a far more communal affiliation with the greater public than our SOL banter. For now lets bet on the stronger horse that SL elders are.....

Carafat, Warya if one might draw on history for why the like of Xaaji Warabe and other old respected othayasha are STILL important just look at how they assembled the people of SL under one place today for the last twenty years. To achieve the level of popular consensus anywhere near the level of Somaliland one can't ignore the importance of "typical Qawdhan" mentality. At the end of the day me and you we don't live there. It is them that will define the contours of Somaliland unfinished journey. We all know in Somali culture ends often conflict with one another when one doesn't get what he/she wants. If the underlying conditions are highly favorable i think they don't need our help.
