There are different approaches they could have taken, but the military thinks they can treat the city like a garrison! and so they experiment their power with the civilains. Why not take the guns to the Al-shabab? An alternate does exist to brutal force..If I was an MP from Garissa I'll make the head of that army testify and also send him packing! Somaliland will always be faced with the obstacle of sub-clan loyalty.It doesn't matter if today the president is HC or if tomorrow HY takes the lead. The barefaced reality will always be obvious where loyalty will be placed.The opening of multiple parties was a calculated risk that only encouraged disabling and denigrating politics of sub-clan.It only galvanized and radicalized the people into viewing politics from sub-clan angle. My passport languished in my suitcase for eight years now and not a single stamp..Shiiit is gonna expire before I step out of North America...and now that I have a trailer behind me forget about vacationing alone, but one day I will sneak out and No I'm not going to Somalia (unless of course the in laws decide to push me to visit Hargeisa)

This grumpy old man grates on my nerves with his over the top offensive language.He could have been critical of the president and his government without calling them names or attacking their clans.
