  2. Bishaaro, i have stacks of examples echoing your frustrations some which i am a victim or the victimizer .Recently i have borrowed some Somali CD's(am trying to step up my Somali songs knowledge ) from a female freind of mine.I can not trace them where i put them.I am feeling guilty on how to approach her and tell her about the mystery of her CD's.She has any number of reasons to be mad.I personally don't like people to misplace my stuff! We all need to learn how to reciprocate hospitalities that we are given.Still grieving about the loss of the CD's
  3. May Allah give Sabr to the family of the deceased. We are apt to become so used to life that we take it for granted. We forget that when your time is up it doesn't matter where you are or what time it is! The particular restaurant where this incident occured is my popular food joint.I was actually there the night before having a dinner with my cousin at the restaurant. This morning when i passed by the restaurant the deceased individual car was still parked there. This incident really hitted close to home;It did really torn the community apart.May Allah grant Sabr and Iman to the family of the deceased!
  4. I hope you all celebrate the Eid with a great eclat; It should be a hearty enjoyment.Happy Eid to ALL my brothers and sisters in Islam. PS If you happen to be fasting today that is a big Plus!

  6. ^^^First time i supported someone because of his skin color(Racism in the making ha?).I was cheering for Vince Young because he was a black quaterback and that he really runned the ball .You know the myth out there that the black quaterbacks can't run the ball(Heh?)or was it they can't throw the ball (ehhhh?) . The dude tackled the overated Southern Cali with great gusto.Boy do i love when the underdogs win except of course when My school lost the sugar bowl to West virginia on monday night   Back to the topic, sorry. The current Somali government should learn the distinction between diplomacy and force. They need sheer strength, skills an ingenuity to win the so called warlords(hoping the warlords will understand humanity). You might think that country has had no enough suffering to feel the pain of lose.I am sure loosing hope with somali politics as the days goes by!
  7. This morning when I opened my news web page I couldn’t help but laugh at this religious diluted shmuck called Pat Robertson. How in the loving hell can such a loving, caring and compassionate religious leader wish another human being a death just because he divided “god’s landâ€. Pat Robertson as you know is a well known TV preacher(the 700 club).Pat Robertson is suggesting that Aerial Sharon stroke is a retribution from god. This is the same guy who this past august called for the death of Venezuela president. He also said that the citizen of Dover County in Pennsylvania should not expect god’s help because they rejected the intelligent design. Who in the loving hell gets a morbid pleasure out of a hurting other souls? This is why I pray to god that people like Robertson shouldn’t be given any power around the world. Sources
  8. ^^^She meant that women are atleast not ceased from the Ovarian activity and that they are transmiting the genetic code unlike their parners! PS Shehe, your skulking comments will scorch you one day !
  9. Jamilah, if that one line had the gradual power to eat away the whole thing I said then you are not a lonely heart. I enjoyed reading the moral resolution of the cases that has been raised in this section. I was dashing away from the general section reckless outbreak of the Hijaab issue and the ever dreary political section. I am not imputing the lonely heart to you in fact not to any one but I enjoyed the reading the matters of the heart and the loins
  10. ^^^I do agree with FF since We normally create our reality within our behaviours. It is difficult to think our way out of pain by changing our behaviour. It is good to observe your partners character by observing the world around their big head. You can do this by observing their habits and behaviours. PS Time out for my women section quota today ...I enjoyed reading all the lonely hearts stories
  11. Hodman, My track record in SOL has little to be desired for; No one will take me that serious like DR.Phil . In life your partnership selection has to be accurate like this

Heh Hodman, am afraid to say that you need to work on your perception Saaxiib.I was speaking for myself! Your refutation has nothing to do with my little anacdote.
  13. The whole relationship thing is tainted with moral obliquity! No one is impeccable. You will one-day experience the dating scene whether you like it or not. The marriage courtship thing will be marveled on your face by your family members (if they haven’t yet). When that day knocks on your door, try to look for the greatness of the soul, the generosity of your partner, the nobility of their mind and their worldly philosophy! You have to be a daring and straight forward when you are dealing with your partner (Something am afraid to say most of our people lack). You don’t have to use your sweat and blood to prove to your partner that you are committed person. In relationships you have to always avoid being an obdurate person. Be flexible and try to mend the fence with your partner. Try to elevate yourself above all what is petty! I am gonna stop now before i sound like Dr.Phil.....

This past weekend I was in Columbus, Ohio. A friend of mine who happen to be visiting from Toronto too had his watch broken. He wanted it to be fixed. We went to a local store in the global mall. The owner happened to be a "Barawani" dude. He promised to fix the watch the same day just in time before we leave the city. The following day when we came back the watch was not fixed and on top of that the watch was not there. The storeowner took it somewhere else to be fixed. It seems he could not fixed it. We happened to storm the shop demanding our watch since we were all leaving the following day. The funny thing is that all my friends have waaqoyi accent. It was hilarious watching a barawani dude arguing with heavy accented waaqoyi kids. I was laughing at their communication barrier. It was a difficult and dreary job of understanding each other. It is true that sometimes when the impulse moves people, they open their mouth without knowing how funny they sound. This incident reassured me that I was not the only one who needed to replenish his Somali words skills (being a Sijui). All Somalis are bankrupt of Somali language in some way! Those of you who think they are sophisticated in the Somali language, you had better not think so because you will one day run into someone who is speaking with a different accent.
  15. Shehe, don't they say all the world is a stage, and most of us are desperately unrehersed. Now you sure not unrehersed in the midwifery department
  16. If the ball will be on my court when I am marrying, she who must be “obeyed†must do away with the 20 inch dress that is cleaning the pavement. I will prefer a marriage whereby my wife will be donning on her latest “diiraac and gabsaarâ€. All I will need to do is come in the middle of the night and take my wife with me. There will be no late night hostage of my wifey by her friends or family members! Of course all this is just a dream at the moment since there is no marriage in my family that ended without any complications coming up after everything has been planned. This is one reason I dislike intensely big weddings. I am praying to god that she who must be “obeyed†will be an understanding one when the wedding stress will build up on her! EDITED: MMA, the dress that your sister got on is so natural and authentic.I will prefer my wifey to put on that dress on the Xeeratha night

    Happy 2006

  18. Damn here comes the bumble bee;Oh noow!
  19. "In the course of history, there comes a time when humanity is called to shift to a new level of consciousness, to reach a higher moral ground. A time when we have to shed our fear and give hope to each other. That time is now." – Wangari Maathai, in her Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech in 2004. Tujiye, I know you don’t want any one to spoil your helium balloon celebration of your new years but we as a human being have to show exemplification of goodness by feeling the pain of any soul that is suffering. People need the light of others to lighten their life of today and tomorrow. We have to be a model of endurance and not a model perfected by embodiments of selfishness. We must show a character held out as an ideal. A friend of mine who happen to be Ethiopian Muslim asked me that other day whether I knew Muslims were dying in hunger in some part of East Africa. I was ashamed that I knew nothing about it but I sure knew what was happening between Brad Pitt and Angelina Joe and not this drought in East Africa. PS I know people are getting bored with my humanity lectures around SOL forums;am sorry if i might be getting to your last nerve!
  20. Warya, if the fuzzy wuzzy hyena is halal how about my cat? My cat is known for its stealth and cunning in hunting prey better than the damn Hyena.
  21. Section6er, what it is boy! Its been a while, check your PM.I did POOPED on this thread long time ago!
  22. It is our duty to improve the condition of others (Beneficence) and to improve our virtues (self improvement). Its great to see such a great news from that side of the world! Thank You Mama Edna
  23. ^^^Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves for they can never ceased to be amused ;So am gonna have to laugh at myself since I haven't watched that movie . PS Thanks for giving credit where its due!
  24. Castro, ever heard "some cause happiness wherever they go;others whenever they go".I think Geisha's are the former while the rest of the hookers are the later So Geishas are the look but don't touch, touch but don't taste and taste but don't swallow (no bun intended ) type of hookers, eh? PS You made me laugh hard till my cousin thought i was about to go crazy!
  25. Castro, if you might let me borrow some words from Wikipedia, “Strictly speaking, geisha are not prostitutes. Because they entertain men behind closed doors in an exclusive manner, there has been much speculation about the underpinnings of their profession. The confusion that surrounds this issue has been complicated by Japanese prostitutes who wish to co-opt the prestige of the geisha image, and by inaccurate depictions of geisha in Western popular culture. Although an individual geisha may choose to engage in sexual relations with one of her patrons outside of the context of her role as geisha, traditional and codified geisha engagements will never involve sexual activityâ€. I think Geisha’s are like an old pajama that keeps your body soft, smooth and trigger happy! There is one catch though; just like the tattered pajama, you and I might love the company of these women in the absence of our spouses and children. The analogy was meant to picturing something you love at the same time you might not want it to be public. I think Geisha’s are for pure entertainment and not for a prostitute work but at the same time it is not on the top of our MORALITY priorities! Edited:
