  1. CL,I have clearly written down a description of myself. I doubt if I’ve any inferiority complex that I’m hiding. I wasn’t making a bid for advertisement. However now that you mentioned that how about I send you a private picture?
  2. ←←←←←←6.1 feet.205 pounds.Less body fat.Heavy frame.Can't beat that.
  3. I just couldn't resist waving at you VAL. *****Hi Val...****
  4. Aliyah, I’m starting dental school this Fall Insha-Allah.I just got accepted. The DAT exam is not that bad if you put the time. I think if you have taken the General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biology you will be fine on the Science section. Now the Perceptual section does require practice and time because it is a concept that is foreign to every applicant. 3 D dimension tactics are required. This is why Engineers will do excellent in this section methink. I personally had to practice this portion of the exam every day! I think you will do excellent if you keep your head up and never get discouraged by the practice exam. I can see from your signature that you are in Toronto. University of Toronto does have a good dental school. See if you can visit the school and talk to the Faculty to show that you are interested. You must also do shadowing at any of your local dentist practices around you because this will strengthen your application. It is competitive to get into these schools due to the competitive nature of the profession.I saw few Canadians when I was interviewing at schools.Definately apply to American dental Schools too.Its a great profession.Keep up the good grades and Insha-Allah you will get in somewhere. Let me Know how I can be of help.
  5. CL..lol. I'm not one yet. What if I flank out of school, ha? On a serious note I think Ibti would not appreciate you on capitalizing(is that a word?) on her back.
  6. I guess the days of "go getters" are over.It must be supplanted by the "go givers"
  7. CL...Naona mzigo wa mwenziwe ni kanda la usufi kwako
  8. Ibti, sorry had to go grab a bite. Its lunch time down here.I think this is the only thread you can snub out of mental inertia and zigzag around people talking about dating corpses
  9. Lilly, I'm checking it right now. Thanks for the info...
  10. I'm planing a trip back home this summer.I've been cruising on the internet the last two days to find a cheaper ticket.I can't beleive how expensive the tickets are after May.Does anyone know any websites with cheap good deal?I'm thinking of staying a week in London and then finishing my trip in Nairobi. In my search of the ticket I'm not looking for a miracle, but anything cheaper than two grands.I'll be on a student budget  .
  11. Ngonge, remember its not the lawyer who knows the most law, but the one who best prepares his case, that wins.Although I firmly suspect that Jacelka is somewhere in Europe and not Somaliland I still think that Jacelka will make a good professor with pleasing personality! Through the aid of his imaginative mind the man can create a perfect harmony between his love stories and his students PS: Although I got a fair share of bonus today I still feel that I have been cheated by my big fat CEO.Why do they always get the highest pay while they did the least work? Other being the power house of personal magnetism what good are CEO's For?
  12. Jacelka, I occasionally took a whiff of the Bacardi .If I never drinked while in college-Having gone to a school which was known for a American football and drinking - I doubt if I will ever try it now. PS Ngonge, I will take back my former name then-Stoic
  13. It was a great weekend for me. I hooked up with twelve of my old college (University for you Londernistans) buddies. We tear up the California Pizza Kitchen(the best place for a pizza- you should try the Greek one if you ever go there) and headed upto the clubbing scene of A-town. Being the only non-drinking person in the crew I had to drive all ****** drunkards to their apartment. PS I love the troll corner. The only place you can write nonsensical things PSS Ngonge I try to work smart, but not hard
  14. The dynamic which embedded the Somali politics with tribal affiliation is slightly different than in Kenya. There is a continual loyalty and rivalries among Somali clan which pre-dates back to before colonialism. Yet in Kenya the clan rivalries stemmed only from uneven-handed allocation of land and resources after the colony left. I doubt if this contention has been settled squarely yet.The recent election in Kenya must have sufficed to illustrate a deep seated fear and mistrust among the different Kenyan ethnic communities. Kenya seemed ill equipped to cope with the political deadlock that has hold the country in hostage after the recent election. The European Union and the US threat of dire consequences of those who obstructed the process did play a role.Koffi Anan did a great job too for sticking out even after the talk was heading nowhere.
  15. Serenity, More than likely, this interchange sounds familiar to many girls who don’t wear Hijab.Yes you can ignore the brother every morning and go through the security line with a speed of light or you can sit down with the brother if he ever brings it up. You need to ask yourself what spiritual influences are important to you at this time and how have this feelings been informing you about your dressing style? Are you happy with the way you feel about your choice of not wearing a Hijab? If you are happy with your choice then the issue now is not about you, but how you will interact with the young man in question. The art of getting along with people is an art of negotiating differences; this will require both parties to be accommodating each other views. Some differences maybe so principle oriented that they may not be amounting to any negotiation. You need to realize that you are dealing with an individual who maybe judging individuals by their looks. Although it makes perfect sense to him to do so, it may irritate you and any non-Hijabi wearing woman. Each society builds a relationship on the bedrock of shared values. It would be wise to have a spirited discussion with the individuals if he ever raises the question why you made your choice the way you did without resorting to counter-attacks that may sound more like dysfunctional family. PS Serenity, if you see Val in the street of London pass my greetings!
  16. I didn’t had to be a Clinton supporter to feel her pain when she uttered these words “"Well, can I just point out that in the last several debates, I seem to get the first question all the time? And I don't mind," .I’m sure this was the last straw of confidence she had on her shoulders. What a petulant whining that was. She did little last night to change the minds of those people who were listening to her at Cleveland State University. I loved it when Obama blasted Hillary how she equated Longetivity in Washington with experience . Lastly do I need to mention about the utter nonsense squabble about Hillary attempt to clarify the word denounciation from the word rejection about Farakhan endorsement.
  17. How to be the Perfect girlfreind
  18. I spread the virus in my office when I came down with the flu last week.Today I'm paying the price. Two people in my department are bed ridden and you know what that means I've to do all their mini-assigment. For my North American trollers Stay at home if you have the flu.Have flu-free day, woun't you?
  19. Libax, The dark art of campaign is in full swing. The tactic of negative campaigning spares no one.I was laughing at Hillary on the weekend when she was on airwaves complaining about Obama camapign mudslinging her stand on NAFTA policy. This is the same as the email that have been circulating about OBAMA refusing to cite the pledge of Allegiance.Every one knows that negative campaign are designated to diminish positive effect of the opponent. The above picture doesn't constitute a convincing evidence to the average educated person that O is a terorist.High visibility negative effect like this doesn't work.It is like Obama picking the news about Hillary being bisexual from the web and circulating it.Every one knows that it is ineffective and untrue story!
  20. I’m excited about the premier of A Rising in the Sun by ABC tonight.Phylicia Rashad is phenomenon ( Clair Huxtable, for you oldies, remember her? ) .Isn’t she still hot a mommy ? I heard she and Puffy did a great acting on their roles .Sana Lathan is part of these Smash hit drama too. I will be looking forward to watch it tonight on ABC.Its on TV , what I gotta loose? Raising in the Sun
  21. Either I'm cold person by nature or I just love drama to unfold.I was rooting for Fatima when this other contestant said," I have never met a mean African like you" Its compettion and get on with it woman! The sum and substance of that impulse shows that Fatima is getting under their skin. People are influenced in this world not much by reason, but so much by emotion. If Fatima can bring the FGM to her advantage so be it just don't abuse it.As long as she can move that long neck briskly with grace and ease she got my support
  22. ^^^Lol.Atleast give me the credit for attempting it
