Infact on the contrary HornA it is a well hearted wish, cause evidently the lives of the thousands you talk about is no longer hanging on the thread but has gone worst to beyond human comprehension. It is a decline inflicted by their belief and support for their warlords on the basis of linage. There a foreign intervention is a saviour and a gate to saving whatever dignity that remains of what was once called Somalia, but today called Puntland, Hiiraan authority, TNG, Juba Valley authority and last but not least the RRA authority of Bay and Bakool. Marka ha yadheysan faragelinta cidama shisheye..laga yaba in ay dawoo idin noqoto

I understand your view admin and respect your attempts in trying to sort things out, but sorry I have to be blatant in here, your decission in this matter is not wise. As far as my understanding is concerned or the rationale will lead us to believe www.somaliaonline.com is part of the machinary in promoting Somali culture and tradition. Therefore the language is the core of all this unles am wrong. Am not advocating for the total use of the language as I understand you also want to accomodate for readers of Somali origin, but were unfortunate not to learn their language. You are right in doing so, but allienating the language and taking it to a different section and thus limiting to it there, am afraid to say you are fueling its demise. Ofcourse I dont assume you want to do that but such steps will reflect such picture. I support the current use of both languages ( English and Somali) in here. In saying that I will respect any rationale changes you make
  5. Silent Sista am not going to retaliate, nah you dont deserve it. But just ponder for a second what I said in my first post to you and why. Aniga kaga ma bahni af-lagadada, ee hadi aad cadkada gosoneysiid walaga arki laha.

  8. Originally posted by OG_Girl: J11, I don't think education some thing to do with our mentality, I think we should think that Clan never unite us BUT "Belief" will unite us. coming from someone who calls herself Gabadha-OG pleaseeeeee give me a break. What a naked hypocrisy.
  9. My suggestion to the S/landers and others who have a honest opinion to this matter cease to discuss it further and hope we at sometimes in the near future come closer together to merge the different thought for its better Inshalah. Cause the discussion so far has taken the worst coarse it could have with 'gabdho yadhyadhi' being abusive and insultive from every angle. Therefore this does not any longer constitute any valid debate it has turned out to be a school playground in a break-time. Somalilnad is what it is and will be what Allah SWT has destined it to be and so shall Somalia. Bear in mind what ever you write in here will only reflect your attitude rather than have a grand effect on the realities in the ground as some of you perceive. Thus for the benefit of common sense if you are genuinely opinionated in this matter then note your right counterparts are not present in this thread, you will only find the utter opposite in here.

  11. J11 inkasto cimrigeyga ee SOL uu yahey mid gaban, hadana I will try to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge. Answer to Q1: No not all of us (infact majority) think twice before starting or replying to a thread. Answer Q2: Are you serious about the 'wisdom of words' or are you pulling our leg? Infact students who seek wisdom should be discouraged from SOL or should come with a warning sign saying 'here lives the Baro family' Answer to Q3: same answer as above, but on a serious note SOL is not X rated but however it does not qualify to be termed as intelectually nourishing. Answer to Q4: I would have completely refuted that but the topics and some authors, like Nur, in the Islam section comes to mind. They are very benefitial and usefull however argumantative it is, at least you are learning something from two or more different sections. But, boy o boy, a big BUT again. All the praise SOL would have deserved in this category is dwarfed by the political section and its negative, biased and naked lies propoganda. Well there you have it J11 if you wanted straight from the horse mouth, but if you want 'nacamleyn' read others.

  15. Originally posted by Mobb_Deep: Xarago, you are naive na'mean. Jinni is playing a big game. I won't tell ya about the political game being played here so I will leave it to ya to figure that out na'mean Yeah I figure out but has it crossed your mind if Jinni wins the position as the speaker of the house, a Da***d becoming a president or even a prime minister is hardly unlikely. I think the game is being played those making sure Jini is elected. One more thang, Abdullahi Yusuf indicated he will support anyone elected and retire from politics if he is not chosen na'mean. Mr. Na'mean why did he not do it for Ali Jama Ali in Puntland? One thing going for Somalia is that most of the candidates with the exception of C/Qasim are probably better than Riyale Kowneyn it entirely depends on how you measure it . It is clear you bar of excelence needs to be re-adjusted to common denomination.
  16. Personally I would not care to vote as it hardly concerns me, but I came across this article and thought it would be suitable here since SOL users are voting twice for c/llahi Cabdi Cabdulle Jini boqor "Sanadkaan Madaxweynaha waxaa iska leh ****** ******* hadaan nahayna Gudoomiye baarlamaan maxaa yeelay" Please bear in mind Jini Boqor is a close ally of the colonel and was twice in his cabinet. Never the less I pray in wax kheyr qabo oo heshis lagy yahey ay kaso baxaan Nairobi.
  17. Originally posted by OG_Girl: ONLY in your dream inabti... YOU should thank Allah there is NO dream police Gabadha-Og it is not a dream my dear. It is a fact that Somaliland beyond expectation and through many hurdles has managed to create governing authority that has witnessed three presidents since its creation 14 years and has witnessed changes of administration democratically during its time. That is a fact and not abstract. Now if you are going to deny these or come back with a mere question of that it lacks International recognition, please not when we established our governing authority we did so with in mind to have a Nation of a constitutions the safegurads and serves the interest of its citizen, international recognition was secondry and it will come in the time appointed by Allah SWT . In the mean time we do not wait for your approval as it is worthless and irrelevant. If you are going to criticise something have factual arguments which is debatable and not relent to cheap shots that undermines your point ( if ever there was any).
  18. Originally posted by OG_Girl: Baashi step aside for a second and let me deal with these pro separatists. Wa shaash..! Cidanka kaso horjeeda 'pro-separists' in SOL ma rac-rac ayey uu qeybsanyihiin? Gabadha-Og let me ask you what do u mean by this ? You should not ask for separate country again just because you happened to be colonized by the British and you should be ashamed of shouting this Fact aloud; Then all Commonwealth countries who were previous British colony have no right to freedom..according to your understanding. And also this : code: Maybe somalis should divorce you as one does with a bad partner since you haven’t contributed anything to this union accept moaning and complaining all the time! Isnt it the divorce (wonder why you like that term) that we are after. My dear niece gabadha-Og our right and sense of independence is not a bargaining tool, probably if you understood that u will not so cheaply refute it, but then again the thought you never had a sense of independence comes to mind and therefore justifies your lack of understanding our point.
  19. ^^^for those who argue there was no name as such 'Somalia Italiana'.
  20. Lool strange he gets agitated by the words 'beast' but accepts 'warlord'. Cajiib.

  22. Wa bila Somali culture. Ok boys lets play your game. Somali culture does not allow you to hold hands with women in the streets, it does not allow you to take them to dinner or out on a date, it does not allow you get jiggy, well unless. And it does not allow you to make love in bright room and permits only strictly orthodox way. yet you break all these rules and when it comes to holding hands at her time of pain and helping her pushhhhh, you run and hide behind the culture. Besides there are many girls as stated by juuxa who will not appreciate your presence at that time to see them weak, but on the other hand there is nothing wrong with it, and you are certainly not breaking any book of conduct.

  24. I like your sense of optimism Basho, wish we were all nice minded and saw issues from their good point of view. Probably and say in a hypothetical situation if we had you as a Somali leader we would have explored the moon..lets pray your optimism is accompanied by eager, urge and realism
