  2. OPERATION DEATH --------------------------------------- By G.H.E Vanker It was early in the morning at four. When death knocked upon a bedroom door. "Who is there?" the sleeping one cried. "I'm Izrael, let me inside." At once, the man began to shiver, as one sweating in deadly fever. He shouted to his sleeping wife, "Don't let him take away my life." "Please go away, O Angel of Death! Leave me alone, I'm not ready yet. My family on me depend, give me a chance, O please prepense!" The Angel knocked again and again, "Friend! I'll take your life without a pain, It is your soul Allah require, I come not with my own desire." Bewildered, the man began to cry, "O Angel! I'm so afraid to die I'll give you gold and be your slave. Don't send me to the unlit grave." The man held a gun in his right hand, ready to defy the Angel's stand, "I'll point my gun, towards your head. You dare come in, I'll shoot you dead." By now, the Angel was in the room, Saying, "O Friend! Prepare for your doom. Foolish man, Angels never die, Put down your gun and do not sigh." "Why are you afraid? Tell me, O man, to die according to Allah's plan? Come, smile at me, do not be grim, be happy to return to Him." "O Angel! I bow my head in shame, I had no time to take Allah's name. From morn till dusk I made my wealth, not even caring for my health." "Allah's commands I never obeyed nor five times a day I ever prayed. A Ramadan came and Ramadan went but no time had I to repent." "The Haj was already fard on me But I would not part with my money. All charities I did ignore Taking usury more and more." "Sometimes I sipped my favorite wine with flirting women I sat to dine. O Angel! I appeal to you spare my life for a year or two." "The Laws of Qur'an I will obey, I'll begin Salat this very day. My Fast and Haj, I will complete, and keep away from self conceit." "I will refrain from usury, and give all my wealth to charity, wine and wenches I will detest, Allah's oneness I will attest." "We Angels do what Allah demands, we cannot go against His commands. Death is ordained for everyone, father, mother, daughter or son." "I'm afraid, this moment is your last, now be reminded, of your past. I do understand your fears but it is now too late for tears." "You lived in this world, two score and more, Never did you, your people adore. Your parents, you did not obey, hungry beggars, you turned away." "Your two ill-gotten, female offsprings, in night-clubs, for livelihood they sing. Instead of making more Muslims, you made your children non-Muslims." "You ignored the Mu'athin's Athaan, nor did you read the Holy Qur'an. Breaking promises all your life, backbiting friends, and causing strife." "From hoarded goods, great profits you made, and your poor workers, you underpaid. Horses and cards were your leisure, money-making was your pleasure." "You ate vitamins and grew more fat, with the very sick, you never sat. A pint of blood you never gave, which could a little baby save." "O human, you have done enough wrong, you bought good properties for a song. When the farmers appealed to you, you did not have mercy, 'tis true." "Paradise for you? I cannot tell, undoubtedly you will dwell in hell. There's no time for you to repent, I'll take your soul for which I'm sent." The ending, however, is very sad. Eventually the man became mad. With a cry, he jumped out of bed. And suddenly, he fell down dead. O Reader! take a moral from here! You never know, your end may be near. Change your living and make amends, for heaven, on your deeds depends

  4. A traveler was stumbling through the desert, desperate for water, when he saw something far off in the distance. Hoping to find water, he walked toward the image, only to find a little old peddler sitting at a card table with a bunch of ties laid out for sale. The parched wanderer asked, "Please, I'm dying of thirst, can I have some water?" The man replied "I don't have any water, but why don't you buy a tie? Here's one that goes nicely with your clothes." The desperate man shouted, "I don't want a tie, you idiot, I need water!" "OK, don't buy a tie. But to show you what a nice guy I am, I'll tell you that over that hill there, about 5 miles, is a nice restaurant. Walk that way, they'll give you all the water you want." The man thanked the peddler and walked away toward the hill and eventually disappeared out of sight. Three hours later he returned. The man at the card table asked, "I told you, about 5 miles over that hill. Couldn't you find it?" "I found it all right. They wouldn't let me in without a tie."

  12. I don't think a 'Men's Forum' necessary cause there is nothing to talk about. We don't have those emotional feelings that 'women' express, that's why they have their own 'forum'. Can you dig it? But anyways, my point is, in my point of view; that men have to have some legitimate issues to talk about, then it will be necessary to create such of their own 'forum'. Much Respect.
  13. Seriously, arguments are bad and pointless. And why would you want to argue something that is already mentioned in the Holy Quran. Fellas, those of you who are pro-hijaab, leave these sistas, muslimas, alone. Who are we to judge? If they don't wear what you have expected them to wear, just mind your business and respect that individual. There is no repulsion in religion, period. Everyone is account for his or her deeds. And only Allah is the absolute Judge. Much respect!

  16. I agree with Petite Not a lot of people know the definition of the word DATING, so basically, it's a good idea to define the word before using it. dat·ing [dáyting ] noun 1. the activity of going out regularly with somebody as a social or romantic partner 2. a special social meeting between a man and a woman; or boy and girl.
  17. WOW! What can I say? I love your creative thinking. It's not a joke; it's a serious matter. I'm willing to support whatever we decide to do whether it be writing a letter to Congress or to the President, making donations, spreading the word---I'm all for it! We can target certain groups of people, usually some rich folks, and persuade them to support us financially. Communication is the key. If we can talk the talk, I believe we can walk the walk. It's just a matter of persuading people. Commitment is also another key point to emphasize. If we plan on doing this, we need to stick to it until we accomplish it. We should be reliable and count on each other. If everyone brings forth something different from the rest of us, then we can rule the world! Much Respect.
  18. I want to buy this country when I become rich. I mean richer than richy! jk.

  22. I don't think there's nothing wrong with interacting people of different background. They are human beings and we ought give them a chance to interact with them and get to know their culture. This would be a great experience and gives one a different perspective towards society. It can also be a learning experience so that one can get along with others and build his/her interpersonal skills. Much respect.
