  1. I'M TIRED OF PAYING TOO MUCH TUITION. AND I CAN'T STAND PEOPLE WHO SMOKE IN FRONT OF THE LIBRARY (like very in front of the library...my biggest pet peeves). AND I ALSO DON'T LIKE BUSH AND HIS LITTLE ADMINISTRATIONS people. RAMADAN KARIIM....have a blessing Ramadan.
  2. JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES AND TAKE YOUR SHOT YOUNGESTER...and just be cool and make sure you get a tic-tac...I'm just sayin' couzin... S_L...com'on give the boy a chance...after all we all went through a similar pressure you feel me...thanks.
  3. Cheehaad, what's up my brother... I just have two questions: 1). What are the Gog and Magog (#32)? 2). And what's said about the buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daws (#40)? Thanks.
  4. OG_Moti...what's happening brotha. Buubto, I feel you sista, understand where you coming from. And it saddens me when someone goes through all these hardships and then becomes disappointed with the outcomes. lol @ Hollywood... Athena, you're funny yo...lol Scorpion_Sista, I agree with you girl...nice response. But anyway, I think people can find love over the net. I heard a lot of success stories and sometimes it could happen when you least unexpected. But these success stories were about non-Somalis...though it could happen to anybody. You can fall in love with their personality and their characteristics but that's about it, unless the person lives near you where you can go out with her/him and then fall in love in both physically and mentally/emotionally...body and soul...you know...
  5. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL....that was very funny...in somali that is... Good one Souty....
  6. Lakkad, the step shows are of the chain man...and plus their Auctions...lol
  7. Yeah...what part of "Feminism" don't you understand...jk...lol. DELA CRUZ...lol...dang...I feel you man...loool.
  8. LOL Jamal, is it that many?...dang...lol But we can talk about Somali women (awww!!!) or women in general...
  9. Basically, women who play hard to get (like the pretty ones who know they're pretty and are full of themselves)...dat is a turn ovv rit dare.
  10. (Surxun's opposite question) Women, pay attention and take notes...
  11. Lakkad, the ones that talked to me where the Kappa's, and the Iota's. And I agree with your response too bro.
  12. PEOPLE, STOP WASTING YOUR TIME JUDGING SOMEONE THAT YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT! I have to agree with SMILEY. You guys don't know anything about these "models" and so whatever they do is their business. Don't be a hater  . She (or they) is just trying to make a LIVING (she's probably supporting her parents). WHATEVER SHE DOES IS HER OWN BUSINESS AND NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO JUDGE HER LIKE THAT. ONLY ALLAH CAN JUDGE HIS CREATURES. Sorry if I offend anyone, but this judgmental topic useless and we have better things to do that just this. Peace.
  13. Yacquub, there are many fraternities and sororities all over the nation. You can find them in any colleges/universities around the nation. They're just about everywhere, like the Kappa Alpha... Tamina, I've seen the love they have for each girl. If you're a member, they got your back 100% and they look out for each other. Even the graduate students and professors will help you find a job if you're interested. But like you said, they have strict rules, like once you join them, you are theirs forever...but then, Thunder brings out this phenomenon point. Peace.
  14. Xafsa, thanks. I also heard from this brother that when you miss an Asr prayer that you can't make it up until the next prayer (i.e. Maqrib prayer)...do you know anything about this opinion? I know you can't pray Asr during sunset when the sun is about to set and the sky looks bright orange...cuzz I heard that's when the Satan spreads his wings...?...I heard this when I was young... Salaam.
  15. Thunder, that's a really good point. I personally don't want to join any fraternities but there are some 'fraternities' who want me on their organization but I can't b/c, one, I don't have the time and two, I don't like to get involve with anything like that...plus some other silly or not so silly reasons.. But anyway, Thunder, your response is persuasive and convincing.
  16. I think, as along as you have a good intention in doing something positive, that it's okay. But what do you know about this topic or other related topics....?
  17. Salaamu Alaykum: I just have one question for those who might know the answer: If you miss a prayer (i.e Fajr Prayer), would it be okay to make it up during the Duhur Prayer or do you just have to make it up whenever you wake up...like 11AM? And maybe someone who understands the question can reiterate it... Salaam.
  18. Muraad, I don't know the answer to your question... My Question: Who was the Prophet's (pbuh) poet? Salaam.
  19. I would have to say her physical appearance (her eyes, smile, hair, clean shining nails, etc.) Besides that, it would have to be her intellects (her manners, how she carries herself, her confidence, all those finer things)... Bout it Bout it...
  20. A little boy walks into his parents room to see his Mom on top of his dad bouncing up and down. The Mom sees her son and quickly dismounts, worried about what her son has seen. She dresses quickly and goes to find him. The son sees his Mom and asks "What were you and dad doing?" The mother replies "Well you know your dad has a big tummy and sometimes I have to get on top of it to help flatten it." "You're wasting your time," says the boy. "Why is that?" asked his Mom, puzzled. "Well when you go shopping the lady next door comes over and gets on her knees and blows it right back up."
  21. I mean all these are good ideas. I'm just tired of seeing these other nationalities doing there own thing here and there...and ain't hatin' on anybody...but I'm saying, why we can't do something like that or even something better. It can be mix of many things and topics. It can be a cultural, religious, general meetings,...anything...it's just a matter of us uniting at a certain place and then going from there...step by step process...
  22. I'm just saying, why we can't have a Somali Organization Conferences like other students have from various countries? If you don't know what I'm saying, for instance, Ethiopians get together every once a year in various cities here in the US and discuss whatever and whatever...Why not us...? And it's not just Ethiopians but other organizations as well...Just a thought... When and How? Probably during our breaks between schools and/or work... If you're interested, we can come out with something...and maybe other people who understand what I'm talking about can further explain this... Wasalaamu A'laykum
  23. TELL 'EM OG_Moti...!!! ...all I need is one mic...lol Peace and Love ya'll...
  24. I heard they are illegal but at the same time I see brothers and sisters taking loans to pay off their tuition for colleges and universities...or what have you. Your responses are appreciated... Asalaamu Aleykum, Abdinuur.
  25. There were two married people who lived on a farm. The man put his hand on his wife's breast and says, "honey if we can get milk out of here, we can get rid of the cow." Then he changes his hand and put it between her legs and says, "baby if we can get eggs out of here, we can get rid of the chickens"...so she takes her hand and put it between his leg and says to him, "if I can get this hard, maybe I can get rid of your brother."
