What is it about people hiding their real names from other people...especially internet users? I used to see it in chatrooms (though I dont chat anymore), various topics, websites,what have you...and even sometimes when you ask the question, what is your name, people tend to use other names of whatchumacallit. Is it a security purposes? If so, security about what/who/where/how/why? Who are you hiding from? Some people use their real names in SOL but majority of SOL members have nicknames... I am not against anyone who hides his/her real name or prefers using a nickname, but it's just a curiosity that made me ask this question. Aight cha'll.

I gotta give you some props! May be you can help me built my family tree. On the side note: sometimes when I learn about other cultures, they aren't unique as our's. There are a lot of beautiful elements about our Somali culture, and I don't know why some people take it for grant it or whine about it. You see...we gotta think outside the box! You feel me. lol.

This is interesting b/c it involves a very critical thinking in analysing things. Simple Woman, This is very strange for me as well. I used to have dreams of that sort, but thank God, I don't have them anymore. It was weird and I know exactly what you're experiencing. I haven't a dream where I see things that aren't human 'screaming at me'...but that only happens whenever I see a scary movie like the RING (scariest movie I've ever seen!). Sometimes I wonder what causes such dreams you know. What mechanism drives it, besides being part of the human nature? Anywho, hope you have a good positive dreams. BTW: who said were not suppose to share our good/bad dreams? Anyone?

What type of things we should do when were out? What type of things we should do when were not out? And when is the perfect time to ask when the relationship can exceed to the next level? :cool:

I think there is a difference between "loving someone" and "being in-love with somebody." Loving someone is similar to the love of family like you guys already described above. For example, you can love more than one person. "Being in-love with somebody" is different in that you limit yourself to love that "one" particular person. Sometimes it's hard to tell if that "one" particular person feels the same way or loves you the same way as you do towards him/her. Sometimes you can be in-love with a particular person forever.

I can read Arabic nonetheless, I can't translate it...that's why they came up with Arabic-English Dictionaries...furthermore, I can't read arabic without the "HARAKS," you smell me? On the other hand, I can speak: English Spanish Math - is that a language? (is X+X a language?) I don't know! My own version of Somali language like Scorpion_Sista Isn't it interesting to know different languages? I would probably learn Arabic and become fluent at it, so I can move to Baghdad!

There's no such thing as SOULMATE. Seriously! Most of these people are describing what is known as LOVE. SOULMATE is just a term made by some fool who had a lot of time on his hands...thinking, wondering, and stuff, etc. you know. So I don't believe there's a thing call SOULMATE. I don't care about what other somali guys think or believe, however in my point of view, what does believing has to do with anything? I don't care if you're virgin or not. Most philosophers are atheist and sometimes they say and ask very awkward questions and they try to explain the world as the eye sees it. My philosophy teacher is a crazy 'cause of the stuff he wonders about and imagines about. Philosophy got some interesting points about the universe and life in general but most of it leads to atheistic. For instance, they strive for the life after death and that they tend to view this worldly life as a materialistic one...there is nothing wrong with that...but again, when they go deeper into these ideas, it leads to atheistic or whatever you wanna call it.
