  1. It is certainly a good idea to keep contact with your families, relatives, friends, and neighbors. Specially, to keep in touch w/ those who live on their own or have young kids. It is good to help them out whenever it is possible. Sometimes I go to my aunts’ and neighbors’ house just to give them a day off, since many of them take care of kids 24/7 and don’t have time for themselves anymore. Like the old saying goes “ you shall reap what you sow” today I am blessed to live with my large family alhmadu lilaah. But who knows about tomorrow? I might be living somewhere on my own? Or maybe I will have kids and I will need help? So it is nice of us to go out of our way to help our relatives and neighbors and those who are in need, and doing that good deeds for others Allah swt will take the time to never leave you in need, he will remember you, because you remembered others for his sake. p.s. Isseh it makes a great deal of difference whether you die alone, or in the middle of your family and loved ones.

  13. Someone has the hots for Somali ladies. You even took the time to wish them Happy b-day. How sweet of you Cadaan. I assume gifts are in order. aniga diric cas iyo dahab igu so talagal
  14. Modesty calamada qiyaamaha ka mid ah maalinta reer badiya magaalo isku faanayaan. dadka dhaaf gacantooda wax hakaaga cunaane by the way, all guys eat in uncivilized manner not just Somali guys. Let's just say they have a huge appetite, they are growing men dear.
  15. I have seen several Somali girls getting married to reverts. well, lets just say many of those who convert take their religion seriously, and follow it the way it should be. masha allah. That been said, many Somali guys are lacking culture and religion. Perhaps they should work on that aspects of their lives, and I shouldn't be just pointing fingers only at Somali guys. Since, the same applies to many Somali girls. I think it is hard to come by decent people nowadays, both men and women. Anyhow, the most important thing to look in a spouse is faith, that they are religious. Religion is blind to everything else including race. However, there could be some culture gap and that could be overlooked since religion is more important than culture.
  16. am actually 20 yrs old NG, but for the next five years am too young to get married. One doesn't just get married, you should be ready for the responsibility that comes with marriage. at least, that is my personal stand on this issue. lol@ posting here at 2 am...ouch
  17. ^^some of us are too young to get married , but that is a good advice. Jazakalaah marriage will be one of my 2013 resolutions, as for now lemme enjoy being Single
  18. you can live w/ your parents till the age of 25, even it is better to move out as soon as you graduate from college/uni like around the age of 22. However, if you are taking care of your parents in old age, that is great. Masha allah. “Your Lord had decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to parents.” Remember, what goes around comes around, if any of you neglect their parents their time of need, you might be neglected when you are in the same position.May Allah (swt) make us those who take care of their parents in old age. Aamin.
