^^lol@ almost like a date...whoe your dates sound so much fun On my spare time I love reading the prophet csw and his companions life stories, it is just so amazing how much you can learn from their lives and how much impact it could have on your life. Also, I work out in the gym, and hang out with my friends and go shopping at times. But, am not crazy about shopping. That is all I guess. Habeen wanaagsan

couple of my friends have their eyebrows and tongue pierced, not a funny sight especially those who have their tongue pierced gets to me how the hell they manage lol. bt hey I have respect for other people's choices. I was thinking of getting my nose pierced bt I met this sister and she told me how she doesn't like it anymore, and she is stuck with it cuz if she takes it off it is gonna be an empty hole, so she gota keep it on. Like, I know it is nice at first bt once you get older how abt if you dnt want it anymore? you just gota keep it somaha?....so i dont know maybe it is better to leave your face how Allah swt created it. Besides, religiously speaking hurting yourself for no reason other than hey " I feel like it" doesn't cut it. Just my thoughts. anyways, I fail to see what piercing ur eyebrows/belly or tongue changes. But, piercing your nose sounds reasonable (lol@ resonable I am being hypocrite somaha... i guess piercing your eyebrows sounds reasonable to you). Anyways, getting any type of piercing is not gonna make you prettier than How Allah swt created you, so I would say you are better off without it. But, walaal macaanto do what you think is right for you best of luck. p.s. why do you care what another lady thinks of you? if you made up your mind ,and you are nt leaving something for Allah swt. other ppl shouldn't be on your way...somalida waxa laga raacay sharaf.....islaan hadalkeeda maxay ka dhimasa? Nothing I am guessing.

^^the same applies to me as far as my lil sister goes I have hard time saying no. But, she is my lil sister so it is a bit different I guess. My parents are the ones who are strict with her. so it is good to have those who are strict and those who are easy going sort of balances life. But, I don't think it should work that way when one is a parent. certainly, one would have to learn to play the "parent" role. As a parent you will have to learn to say no. There will always be the sister or the aunt that spoils that child. You just gota be the person with the firm hand, like be playful and what not bt nt 24/7 or that child might end up spoiled brat who thinks the whole world is there to serve them. wa salaam

Khalaf walaal I can understand where you are coming from. Jazakalaah khyr. I just don't think from religious perspective is haram to celebrate that day where your intentions is only to show ppl you love how much they mean to you. and, we are not just talking about buying stuff for your loved ones. Spending time with you loved ones counts as well. Che, perhaps there is some history to it as far as christianity goes. But, at the end of the day it is your intentions. My intentions is not to follow kufar's footsteps, rather to just enjoy myself with my loved ones. Perhaps, as muslims we should choose another day...how does that sound to rest of you ?? Anyways, I will speak to a wadad about this matter. madaxaba i xanuujiseene. acuudu bilaah...ilaahay khyr ha nisiiyo laakin ficnaan uun uga jedaane ...am just confused sort of. Ducaysane am 20 , but AGE IS NOTHING BT A NUMBER wa salaamu alaikum

Malika, thanks for sharing this sweet story ya ukhti. That was amazing. I second Al-muminah I cant wait to be a mother too. I have a younger sister and she gets on my nerves at times, bt thats what kids are for. But, most of the time she brings nothing bt a joy.

lol@ Gedid word? here i thought religious girls were kinda above those petty stuff. Khalaf, there is nothing wrong with celebrating V-day, it is the day where you celebrate with all your loved ones, from friends , family memebers, and even that special person. Everything depends on your niyah (your intentions). Al-mu'minah I agree that you have to show your love and appreciation every single day. But, that won't be possible given that you are busy with school and work. It is good to have that special day where you just hang out ...anyways whats the harm in it? ofcourse, if you guys wanna just be different from the kufar and just choose Feb 15 or any other day...it is still fine with me...I will celebrate that day too lol Almu'minah the chocolates were good yesterday weren't they ...now stop complaining
