Afro lool back in the days my dad said ppl would run after the white ppl..specially lil kids. But, that was back in the days, am assuming ppl are different now and I doubt they would have a problem with accepting muslims from other races. -

^^lol@ you are not welcome.. adiga miya u taliya cida somalia loo ogolyahay iyo cidii kale??...qof baa wax is mooday ma istidhi Gello you need to stop forcing your opinion on others... I would advice those who insulted somali guys to refrain from it. It is never good to generalize, as there are good Somali guys out there. but that doesn't mean i don't support those who married reverts. I honestly believe everyone should go for whatever makes their day.... -

Somali Women and Revert Marriage Phenomenon

Mr Gello stop worrying about somali girls and who they choose to marry, after all it's their lives right. Perhaps those girls just found what they were looking for in reverts. It doesn't have to be due to somali good guys being rare. Couldn't just be their choice and preference. Just last friday I saw this half white/half somali kid....the kid was drop dead gorgeous just another reason i don't mind somali sisters marrying outside their race....there's something adorable about mixing races... -
^ that's exactly what my mom says...those foods are healthy...but really i rather eat something else.Unless, there is nothing else cooked. Then, I am stuck with them and what do you mean you can't cook.. digirta dhaq..biya ku shub. milix yar ku shub...subag ku dar hada rabtid ....ha karkarto for a long time..intey ka jilcaso...markaasna cun....ya ilahi dadkan gacma ma leh miya ..makes me wonder p.s. yup we are certainly blessed to have food, and here we are preferring a food over the other.subahanalah...and amiin to your du'a may allah swt give a blessing ramadaan to all muslims at every corner of the globe..
-
thank god that you were kidding and disapprove of it. thats a relief. well, as muslims we disapprove and feel sorry for her. And, sooner or later she will regret her choice. Whether it's in this dunya or akhira...

haa dhaqan iyo diin celisba wa u bahanyahay....ticketka maka bixin

Like i posted we should leave this to allah swt...but i disagree when one goes i dont see whats so sad abt this? don't you see that a sister is having a child out of wedlock?? what can be more sad than this?...am not talking about cultural perspective. I honestly don't care about somali culture. I was referring to islamic perspective on this issue..what does islam says about this? think about it?.... as a muslim you should disapprove of such thing...no question about that...you should disapprove but not necessarily impose the right choice on others.Ultimately, everyone makes their choice and no one else has a say in it...
-
Zack lol perhaps my answer would have been different. pujah lol anigaba borashka, digirka, shuurta..waxaas oo dhan kama helo..laakin waan iskaga casheeya sometimes.
-
lol@ no too sure what is sad about it... that's what happens when ppl lose morals and become too westernized n brain washed by western values ..
-
I prefer the normal pancakes thank you ..otherwise, if i want somali food..laxoox,mawalx..will do! How sweet of you....jane n finch miya tidhi? meshas uma socdo..bt thanks for the sweet offer.

^^loool sanbuus uun ka gartay waxaad cuntid. subhanalah.... The point you stick to cornflakes because that's the only thing you can eat. You are most likely to lazy to cook anything have a variety dear...eat pancakes, sabayad, malawas,laxoox...eggs...shuro.. borash...it's not good sticking to the same diet every morning. You gonna hate it later... my 2 cents
-
^^ you cook it like oatmeal...just add water, butter, and salt..and that's all ...I suppose you can cook it with milk instead of water if you want. anyways, we use both terms shuuro iyo soor..neither ring a bell miya? how about corn? you don't eat it??....
-
soor = shuuro (corn)
-
^ lol we all know the guy who posted meant afur instead of anfur..you didn't have to point that out
-
yeh we cook soor....bas hadalkaagaba ku qancay wax soor usoo dhow oo la cabayo waa caadi..waxa ka yabay wa hilibka iyo borashka la is daba wado lol.. sheh kan waligi wax ma karin...wa cunay uun yidhi. bal qofkale raadi ku sheega sida lo kariyo..
-
I suppose most of you guys agreed that mushari is oatmeal...and you guys add meat to that...no thank you....now I have no intention of making it lol
-
^ qaarkiin waxay dhaheen wa saren, qaarna borash...can you guys make up ur mind ...ye'll giving me headache sidee hilibka sheegaseena ugu dartaan... someone give me the exact method you guys make it I'm up for something new this ramadan, even though this sounds far from delicious hahahha
-
^^sheh lol i know eh, no one wants to give me a clear explanation of what mushari is and how to even make it...I suppose you should just ask around....am sure someone eats it in your neighborhood.

oh my god I loved her speech. I think she sort of recreated her identity. she emphasized that she loved America to correct her previous speech that was taken out of context. and, how she talked about how they both (she and obama) beat the odds, grew up in hard life, and how their parents sacrificed everything for them and what not. I could even relate to that how our parents did everything for us just so we could have a better life. I mean how many of us actually know that our parents could have been so much happier back home, live even in a blast life. Yet they chose not to...anyways going off topic. Overall the convention went great..

Lily lool as a joke eh? as they say there's elements of truth in every joke. he prolly knew you meant it which is why he took it badly. But, you are right guests should have some table manners, which is eating a normal amount of food.. Pucca I merely meant let the brother eat whatever he wants....
-
^^ lol well I assumed that brother was in his 20s...so he would still be in the process of growing ..
-
Lily lol@ 12 samoasas....well a growing man should eat a lot I suppose. so next time don't call the brother a "pig"..give him more samosas rather
