  1. ^ am not trying to be innocent. I'M INNOCENT not violent like you ppl...learn something from me....might help you in the future inshallah am the type of a friend that will put a smile on your face.....now why would you want someone to slap you or what not? god help you nuune.... I could just picture you and your friends fighting..madax is jiidjiidanaya is garacaya is feedhaya ..three minutes laterna casheenaya.....now if that aint crazy i dnt know what is
  2. neph this guy just needs to learn how to debate with someone without getting physical. Some people when they can't debate..gacmahooda kasoo horeeya..like some ppl i know lol....Now when i'm debating with them i make sure three people are between us just incase lol
  3. Nuune luckily there are anger management classes available at this time and day. Make use of them
  4. Like i said some anger management classes could be useful where you'r concerned. And, hopefully, you will come out knowing how to control yourself when you get angery, since the world isn't about just making you happy. USUALLY those who get physical are the ones who cant stand a challenge.is like my way or the high way...what kinda of a friend is that? ...lol ilaahay ba ka hoos galay a friend like you..acuudubilaah. mar hadad igu cadhooto ma ii dhirbaaxi...ama ii feedhi..ya ilahi.. bal askar yaa lugu wacin..hada is haagji
  5. nuune lol you have a weird definition of friendship. To have a friend it means someone you come to with your problems, someone who guides you along the way, someone you consult with when you'r having a hard time. Not someone you fight with...and usually you can have disagreements and argue that's fine no one sees things the same way. But, you don't need to get physical. Makes you come across as primitive...get civilized ku odhan laha and dude enroll in some anger management classes..subhanalah
  6. ^ lol ...I would prefer not to guess it since i doubt "in aad khyr sheegasid"
  7. yeh but it's blessing for those who eat unconsciously, since allah swt knows they didn't eat on purpose
  8. Neph, half way reading it i was like i thought she said i always take the mature way out why did she jump on the girl she could have still walked away regardless...then i read " i had a play fight with my neice"..you got me there p.s. something about guys and remote controls. You can never share that's for sure. My little brother always plays video games with his xbox. Gotta do something abt that xbox, maybe i should throw it out while he's @ school.
  9. lol@ ice cream baa cunay...they are crazy subhanalah.... sometimes though when am cooking for my lil sis or making iftar i forget myself and i see myself tasting the food and going hmmm the food does indeed taste good..i think i added enough salt. till it strikes me that i was fasting and i run to the tap water lol.. I wish i could eat a whole cup of icecream not knowing
  10. friend was telling me she will be staying at the masjid the whole of this week..I am like am sure you can pray and read qu'ran at home, why camp at the mosque? lol@ camp at the mosque maka dhab baa??...it's called I'tikaf, which is basically staying at the mosque the last 10 days and it happens to be what the prophet csw use to do. It's not a must but actually recommended for those who can do it, since all of us want to be closer to allah swt, whats better than worshiping him for 10 days without being distracted with anything else (family, school, work). But, since most of us are busy with work and school. It's rather hard to do it.
  11. Lily looool same here walahi my mosque is over filled...I don't even get space to breath that night.subhanalah it's better to always increase our ibada and pray both tarawiix and salatu leyl. And, not just worship on that specific day...
  12. There is no need to talk the talk and say yes I would die for Somalia. Because, if that was the case most of you would have been back home right now. Instead of being in your cozy house @ the west....just facts...face the truth none of us would die for somalia. and the truth is because we know deep down somalis are killing other somalis and regardless of who you side with, in the long run you are not going to gain anything out of it. To answer the poster's question I consider myself somali, canadian, and a muslim. But no I would not die for Somalia ...specially when I know it is not worth it. that's my two cents.. wa salaamu alaikum
  13. ^can't believe it's already the last 10 days.. Surah 97. 3. The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. 4. Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah.s permission, on every errand. May allah swt inshallah forgive us that night that is equivalent to 1000 months. That clearly shows how our creator is Merciful for those who want to repent...Sol members inshallah take advantage of the last 10 days. wa salaamu alaikum
  14. ..I think they are still using the same saliid since the day they opened...Yuck! Love the three corners of the sambuus though.. KK,who uses the same oil to make samosa? that's both nasty and unhealthy....I would advice that you make it yourself, that way you get to make it however way you want and add whatever ingredients you prefer. Not to mention it's fun ..or to me at least. I enjoy both making and eating samosa... tan kale MMA markasta sambuuska wa necbahay lasoo tagantahay waxa moda in lagugu kaa khasbayo enjoy the remaining days of to this holly month inshallah.... wa salaamu alaikum
  15. nop never had a fight with anyone. And, one shouldn't to begin with. Inshallah we are muslims and need to learn how to forgive a fellow muslim individual regardless of who was right or wrong. sheydaankana iska naara. go back to your friend and apologize to him/her, before you know they will be apologizing back and hugging you.....just imagining you both making up and reestablishing your friendship...what a sight salaaam..
  16. ^suxur is part of the sunnah, and its strongly recommended!!...and yeh you dnt have to eat much. I hate to eat much of anything that early in the morning. But enough to get you going, like cup of milk, a pancake or something alike should be enough. To answer the poster's question, the first half of Ramadan went pretty well alhmadulilah. Fasting makes us reflect on how those who are less fortunate go through day in and day out throughout the year. subahanalah, makes you realize all the blessings Allah swt has bestow upon us. So lets take time to be grateful and increase our ibada now that we are within the last two weeks of ramadan. Let's make sure to be the ones who fill the first rows at the mosque at least for the last 10 days inshallah. Jac, I don't think it's wise to eat all the food and then pray. Usually it's good to pray after you had one date or cup of milk. And, then come back to finish off your food. Since the prayer won't wait for you, bt yr food clearly can....unless cuntadaadu cararaso salaaaam p.s. Red, dadka sanbuuska ku sameeya, ama aduuba hadad sameesatid waxaad hubsata markaa kowaad aaad xidhasid oo qudrada ku gurasid in aad sifiican u xidhid...oo meelna ee ka furneen hadii kale saliida galasa oo dhadhan ma yeelanayo...just a tip..hope that helps

  20. ^it's obvious that the outcome of the american elections could have profound impact on other nations. so we will stay tuned with it.. As for Canadian politics, this time around am not really into liberals. who knows might vote for the conservatives. NOW endorses Obama snubs Palin Wed, 17 Sep 2008 12:27:07 GMT The National Organization for Women (NOW) has given a cold-shoulder to John McCain's pick Sarah Palin, by endorsing Barack Obama. According to Kim Gandy, the head of NOW, Palin's anti-abortion rights statements have given women rights groups a sense of urgency about taking a position in this presidential campaign. NOW with 500,000 members had never been involved in presidential campaigns before. "Palin is being portrayed as a supporter of women's rights... as a feminist, when in fact her positions on so many of the issues are really anathema to ours," Gandy said. In reflection of Sarah Palin's Christian fundamentalist beliefs, other women's rights organizations, pushed along by a spontaneous anti-Palin movement among women, are also campaigning against her. In Alaska over the weekend, a Welcome Home rally for Palin was dwarfed by a demonstration organized by Alaska Women Reject Palin. A group of people in Alaska believe the fundamentalist governor has pushed an evangelical agenda in the northern state, also criticizing her belief in creationism. Some analysts evaluate NOW's decision as a setback for John McCain's hopes of luring the millions of women who supported Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primaries.
