  1. nothing beats fresh made samosa. Guys make use of your hands
  2. muxadara ku saabsan tobanka dambe ee ramadan inshalah take advantage of this lecture.
  3. Urban that explains why you can't get a retail job, learn to give the proper answers regardless of how you feel about it.... Anyways, I second Hayam who wants to fold clothes day in and day out that's pretty trying. I would suggest look for a better job.
  4. ^^I hope you get better sis. Inshallah will make du'a for you..
  5. honestly I would say most, and am yet to meet other nations that lost their culture and religion than us somalis. It's funny we were here abt 18 years and this is what we got..cant imagine another 20 years walaal...Like I would advice myself , I would advice others to raise their kids elsewhere. That way they maintain their culture and religion. and, once they reach 18 you could always send them to the west to pursue higher education. at least that way you did your job of raising them as a good muslims, and the rest is up to them and allah swt. sheh you shouldn't take a nap or you won't feel much of hunger..that's depriving yourself of the honor of feeling what those less fortunate feel
  6. Neph inshallah make du'a before you start your prayer that Allah swt help you to concentrate....it happens a lot that ppl lose concentration. it seems the sheydaan just has his ways to make you think about other matters when you'r praying... just increase your du'a. inshallah that should work.
  7. Che it's not a matter of how I turned out or few people out there. I need to take the bigger picture. Most somalis at the west are pretty.... how do i put it...well lets just say they are not achieving much culture wise, religiously,or even academically. And, you are right there is nothing that will guarantee that your kids will turn out good or perfect. But, its a matter of striving as a parent and then putting your faith in allah swt.
  8. I feel like dubai is the transitional place. It is westernized yet its muslim country. And, I heard they have good job opportunities. they will give you a job, a house, and even a car..like the company u work for will supply all that. So i'm down for that inshallah. And, honestly I wouldn't wanna raise my kids (if i get any) in the west. That would be like throwing your kids in an ocean and expecting them to survive..
  9. So true Ramadan means so much when you'r living in a muslim country which is why inshallah I intend to move to dubai in the future sometime.
  10. I don't have anything in particular in mind ...but we could always discuss religious topics..something that will make us more aware of this month. btw where's all the trollers? i guess it's their iftar time..that reminds me to cook iftar...bt i still have some time
  11. do stay please we are not doing any type of shukaansi here , and if you think this is shukaansi god help you...you need shukaansi101 class..haha okey guys it's ramadan ...so lets discuss something that will benefit us inshallah rather che now i got it so your mom is from LA, that makes me your habaryar....anyways lets drop it..
  12. am not asking you anything...you said i was your habaryar cuz i was from reer laascaanod. And, i merely said are you from LA? as i wasnt aware of that...dnt try to twist the story where you'r the ones who initiated it.
  13. ^ you'r from wherever your dad is from..that's how somali system works ...
  14. ^that one above...@I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow isn’t looking good either....just wondering who you talking to ... lol@ southern wadad...now that answered my question. even though it was not meant for me ...
  15. lol am just curious as to which region you hail from...nothing else...dnt get ahead of yourself dee btw ibti your qoute is harsh ...
  16. lol che that had me laughing....malika haka waalin kualheed khamiis xidho iyo gadh dheereeso...waxaas ilaahay horti ayaa loo sameeya dee horta che adigana reer laascaanod baad aheed miya?...I know malika is mixed
  17. lets hope her mom made a wonderful food..lol.. i will make du'a for you..just dnt spit out her food..cuz that would be more rude than turning down her invitation..
  18. Ibtisam loooooooooooooool I would say dont accept the invitation...cuz once that person cooks horrible food you will have to eat it with a big smile. Been there ..bt won't happen again.. I had to say " walaal cunta fiican karisay maruun i bar bal sida loo kariyo"..the poor sister fell for it...and called me number of times to show me how to make that food,,bt i made excuses and thankfully she forgat abt it after some time. Malika why don't you just take your friend out..tell her you found this nice restaurant you guys can dine...that should do the trick
  19. Malika he's all yours habaryar iyo eedo iyo ayeeyo intaba u noqo
  20. aniga reer laascaanod wa ahay laakin habaryarta ma ihi waxba ha iskukay dhadhajin wa necbahay dadka ii dhaha eedo iyihiin ama adeer marka ogeen meel ee iga so galeen that happens a lot believe me within the somali community. They all claim to be related to you
  21. Che, am just teasing you. Learn the difference between being down right rude, and just teasing I know you are not that old..bt old regardless ...bt not that old mind you malika you should have made an excuse...you were being nice to accept it i would say. I would never accept an invitation by some1 who can't cook unless they are going to get me a take out...(now who would object to free food).
  22. ibti glad to hear that.. Sayid since he cant remember that means he took nothing personal. count yourself lucky and next time watch what you say malika habaryar baad u tahay miya ileen waxaad ula jirtay....walaalaha ha ukala hiilin
  23. Che oh i forgat you were old and cant remember stuff. My mistake, I totally misunderstood you
  24. Ramadan was hard the first few days. Now, am use to it. Even though it's kinda hard to concentrate on my books when i'm hungry. Like i can deal with the hunger bt don't ask me to study Anyways, enough abt me how are you sis?
  25. It's ramadan make sure you forgive one another.....the least you could have said was "you'r forgiven" instead of going " it wasnt worth remembering"...THAT IS COLD BROTHER
