  1. ^ lol urban who said if u circle a tree three times it will slap you.... Anyhow, jins do exist. And, you all should be at your homes after maghrib. They do come out around then. salam
  2. actually am not crazy abt shoes or shopping either... I need to know that too .. when I go shopping with my friends they take forever to choose one dam shoe...I be like they all look nice just grab one...and they make comments abt each one..ya allah! could it be the media that stereotypes women to be crazy about shopping as oppose to men being crazy abt cars? and like most ppl are living their lives based on those stereotypes. salaam
  3. why are guys into cars? I need to knowwwww .. As long as it will take you where you want, what does it matter how it looks..and so long it looks decent...
  4. I don't think you should mention that your family served in Somalia, or somalis might have second thoughts abt u (since we have the tendency to over generalize..basically anything your uncles/aunts did will backfire @ you hehehe) Qalbi, tell your friend to pursue a professional field. I wouldn't advice anyone to join. salaam
  5. next time just edit your post, instead of posting three times....it's annoying
  6. If you like it so much, just live in a place where avocado is available loool Jokes aside, I don't know if it grows in somalia.I do use avocado though (not for eating though i dnt really like it)...but for my hair. I heard it nourishes your hair. So do lemme know if you figure out where it grows in Somalia salaam
  7. lol@ works for undergrad..it does? ..not for us. You better reference other people's work or you might actually get kicked out of school.
  8. You guys are still talking abt that poor old man. I feel sorry for him even though I don't know him. An old man his age deserves some respect. Between, I have never encountered anything that crazy at hamarwayne...they all look old, and perhaps I look a whole lot younger and only speak english to them. Maybe you guys should refrain from speaking Somali. Or, they gonna think " allah tan yaree dhaqangeda taqaana maan wax u shegto" hehehehe... or maybe your conversations goes like this... aboowe tuna samosa isii abaayo macaan haye waan kuu siina hehehe before you know it the brother has his eyes on you.. I used tuna samosa as an example not talking abt layzie lol You should have this in very neutral way...I would like tune samosa, with no hint that you're somali..and whenver he utters a word in somali be like..pardon me...and he's gonna think tan luntay ya wax ku falaya ..works salaam
  9. ^^ lol i was gonna watch my back...bt yeh who knows might lead him on for a bit and then go.. odayahow kuusan isku xishood I dnt think the weather is that crazy. I have seen worse..... I tried alcruba, never went to madinah. But, am content with hamarwayne---they are my #1 for my xalwad..hehee..maybe i will try almadinah another time. And, am not that familiar with the somali stores at the west end. salaam

  11. If he's old man whose hitting on young girls i can see y peasant would have an issue with him. But all the same lets respect him given that he's old.. btw am thinking of going there 2day to get xalwad.....how does he look?? just to have an idea and I can watch my back heheheh salaam

  15. Ibti no worries....just try to stick to the topic... Ngonge I merely didn't wanna talk about the reasons I know changed his opinion. I just didn't wanna specify as it will bring a heated political argument one that I honestly don't wanna start. I just wanted to point out the fact that he doesn't mind Somalia more like who's leading it...now I hinted a bit more...that shall be all. salaam

  18. You guys are taking things out of proportion. I'm merely stating facts, that apparently some people would like to twist and avoid the subject at hand. oh well let it be. salaam
  19. FYI Treat others like u wanna be treated. Imagine if I mentioned your name in a public forum in a ill manner...how would u like that? even if you are the worse guy alive that doesn't justify my act. It's called backbiting... if u have a problem w/ the dude go to hamrwayne, get it out of your system salaam
  20. It doesn't matter whether HE MADE A NAME FOR HIMSELF OR NOT, who gave you the permission to mention his real name in a public forum. That's uncalled for. salaam

  22. my god the landscape of this city is breathtaking....i couldnt help bt to admire it. where is this city located?? i mean like where in somalia??
  23. ^^I dnt think its nice to name names....not that I would know who u're talking abt. I don't even go to hamarwayne often. But, I do go there whenever I crave for xalwad, I love their xalwad. salaam
