In my opinion, Cali Khaliif is a very poor choice. Your opinion is clearly biased. As "ME" already mentioned he's threat to you since you know he will certainly put his homecity in the agenda, and by that am referring to LA laascaanod. However,if you look how the current politics is fairing you will realize that there's a great likelihood that he might be the next pm regardless of whether that idea sits well with you or not. I do agree though that the first thing this transitional government should emphasize is to establish peace at the south. And, mainly that's the reason why Sharif shiekh ahmed is being supported by the international governments. And, I do wish him only the best on that goal. salaam

Obviously cuz he has to, they chose him and he will do as they tell him....not a rocket science But, he's a good man and I hope he succeeds in establishing peace in hamar and somalia at large. salaam

I think the next pm would be Cali Khalif Galeydh... Or, Maslax Maxammed Siyad (he would make a good pm too) salaam

I really think learning somali is pretty easy. Since, it's all about sounding it out. My advice would be reading Somali newspapers. It's all about practice, practice makes perfect. And, theres this one book that I own. It's somali proverbs written by a russian man Georgi Kapchits, and I love reading it. It actually improved my somali a whole lot. But, I don't know where you can find it, it was actually my dad's. But, yeah I guess buying books in somali would help you. You should check out somali stores at your local place. I see you're in canada? where in canada would that be? if it's toronto ...there's this somali store at lawrence/weston..check it out, I know they sell cds and movies. But, am not sure about books, bt am sure even watching somali videos can help your somali.. salaam

SOL Projection: Shariif wins the race for the presidency
Aaliyyah replied to xiinfaniin's topic in Politics
^ Yeah Koolkat I also congratulate maslax maxammed siyad. The man is split image of his dad my god. He was a down to earth typa man and spoke with class mashallah. Truthfully, He would have won if things were different. But, apparently we all knew what the results of this election would have been. And, definitely sharif shiekh ahmed is an excellent man with character and it seems he's a good candidate to restore the choas happening in somalia. I wish the best for him and lemme make more duca for him.... "ilaahay ha caawiyo sharif shiekh ahmed in uu dalkeena ka dhigo nabad iyo dal horumar iyo midnimo gaadha.." amiin amiin amiin salaam -
^^I don't wear that kinda of hijaab either, and yes its offensive to call it Penguin style I second that. salaam

^^just leave us hijaabi sisters alone.. As for what I said to AAliyah's, that is between me and her, because her response is no longer there, so we cannot comment on it. The only comment I deleted was the fact that I prefer to wear black hijaab/abaya as to wearing bright colors. (deleted earlier this comment cuz I decided I didnt have to share that personal info about myself...bt now you forced me to write it again....soo ppl dnt think I said something rude to bright-colored hijaabi sisters) Anyways, enough said. Everyone wear what you must. hadaan cid meel kaga dhacayna bal xaal qaata salaam

Ibti I said every1 can wear whatever. If a sister wants to wear orange hijaab so be it. How can I be more supportive than that

I'm a firm believer that everyone can wear whatever they want. If you don't like it, well the whole world isnt out there trying to please you. All you gota do is gaze down or gaze up (find a way to not look @ them)... looooooooooool@ turns me off....the nerve of this man.... salaam
