  8. Pucca yeah sis I have seen hijabis who smoke as well. It's odd regardless of how many times I see it, it doesn't make it any more normal For some reason I can deal with khamiis dude smoking as oppose to hijaabi that's smoking. I really don't know why lol..but you are right it's bad for both. so many people try to justify smoking, and say hey its makruuh, like God doesnt recommend it but that it isn't haraam. However, I agree with you it's haraam, clearly it says in the Quran to stay away from anything that harms your body. In that sense smoking is haraam since it harms your body.. my heart aches when i see parents smoking front of their kids....second hand smoking is as bad as smoking... I don't know when people will use their right mind and realize there's no point whatsoever to smoke... salaam
  9. haa soma aragtid...iga celi
  10. Well I don't have any reliable statistics done on how many people got killed back home or what not. But, more of a common sense no one can claim anarchy was good for Somalis, perhaps it was good for few warlords who exploited people's wealth and what not.... salaam
  11. walahi i was in tears alhamdulilaah. You can not compare this to an indian movie, even though even when the ending comes n a guy marries the girl of his love...I cry..or if he doesn't and something goes wrong I still cry but come on this is a girl who changed...who started wearing hijaab...who left her bad habits behind.. my tears were happy tears ...alhmadulilah and no I wasn't bullied at school girl, everyone loved me..am like so lovable..I got one charming smile...who can resist that salaam
  12. ^hopefully they went for a cup of coffee only, and eventually huda joined deeqa and started wearing hijaab.... how is that for an ending? salaaam
  13. oh my god deeeqa changed, I was in tears. Alhmadulilaah. Huda is just evil..subhanalah kulaheed...... ‘Nonsense. Hypocrisy has no levels. You are either a hypocrite or you are not! You already proved that you are one, so what is with the coyness now?’ Said Huda. ofcourse hypocricy has many levels, hijaabi who smokes. that's odd. NG, you are a good story teller. I love your stories. The lesson of this story is anyone can change...mashallah....the sky is the limit. So long you are alife and breathing you can repent regardless of how bad you were...Allah is merciful and he guides who he wishes. salaam
  14. How can anarchy be good for somalis? knowing there were millions and millions of innocent people who got killed throughtout the 18 yrs. And, those other millions who are living in poverty...
  15. ^well yeah they should've used b instead of F. right...
  16. Happy b-day Nuune.... May the coming years bring lots of happiness your way... salaam

    Hot and Cold

I don't experience this either and I haven't really heard of this. Having pain on the first day is fine, everyone goes thru that. But, being really cold or hot I don't really know abt that. Inshallah I will make duca for you dear sis. As already mentioned above do get a doctor feedback and Malika's suggestion sounds ideal solution if you are ready for it ofcourse. salaam
  18. Thanks Nephisa for your input. I'll be sure to stay away from it. As for masar I only put it on at night if my hair is oily otherwise I don't. I wear hijaab most of the day so like Lily said one needs to let their hair out for that few hrs. salaam
  19. ^ do they have any side effects? and did you like try them yourself?
  20. oh my god you're pretty tall...mashallah! salaam
  21. lool haneefah wali qarashkii wa jiraa dirici dahabkii iyo roogi casa ma in aan dhaafa mooday...laakin #2 kaliya ma ihi kuwa kalena waxba iga soo galay...markaa he needs to add another category that has a bit of all the other categories salaam
  22. I think there is a genetic pre-disposition to hair length. Unless I made that right up. [big Grin] Maybe you have a point there. But, two of my younger sisters have really long hair. But,I feel like each person has a specified length their hair reaches. My hair is at the tip of my shoulder, regardless of how many times I cut or how many supplements I take lol it never gets any longer.. Cadaan maybe that's why you have a long hair, cuz you wash it daily. I usually wash mine twice a week. I'll wash it every day and see if my hair grows loool salaaam
  23. Am I the only person who noticed it? It doesn't say superman, rather suferman(look @ the arabic writing) but yeah it's funny name.... salaaamz
  24. Lol Haneefah my sincere apology, I'll keep my mouth shut
