  1. ignoring such people is the best policy I agree...
  2. well its not nice to talk about other in a negative way..and even worse spreading things that are not true.. salaam
  3. actually a friend of mine was in the same boat as you are, another girl said something abt her behind her back something that isn't even true. So she phoned me and asked me if should call the girl and confront her about it, and I told her don't. sababto ah qof haduu wax xun dibtaada ka dhoho and you asked them about it they gonna think qiimo in ay leeyihiin. I told her to let her come forward and apologize and if she doesn't then just drop her friendship all together. I hate people who backbite people...so basically I wouldn't advice you to call her, don't. As long as you are certain she said whatever behind your back let her come forward. And, if she doesn't ignore her.... hopefully thats what u were asking lol... my 2 cents salaam

  9. Hey Geeljire, Hows things with you? -------------------- ---------- "Do all the good you can, By all the means you can, In all the ways you can, In all the places you can, At all the times you can, To all the people you can, As long as ever you can." -John Wesley
  10. looooool I have a solution for you, since they are certainly entitled to do whatever whether its chewing their mouth open or picking their nose or whatever...you can simply remove yourself from their presence saves you a whole lot of time. I was referring earlier to people you hang out with that you ended up disliking their company for whatever reason... salaam

  19. Surely, we all want to enter Jannah, May Allah make us those who enter paradise... This video just leaves me in tears and speechless... while watching it, just remember all those people who were close to you but sadly are not here today. Take a minute to reflect?...we are all going to follow them....death is true and it will come at its right time. May we all work hard for akhira, ultimately akhirah is all that matters. salaam
  20. Said Rageah is originally from Calgary. But, now he lives in Toronto and he’s the imam of abu huraira mosque (270 Yorkland Blvd. North York, On.) That been said in this particular video, it was really too brief. Just about 10 minutes so he didn’t really mention a whole lot, more or less that the xikmah or the wisdom behind marriage is to feel “Sakan” which basically roughly translates to feel at peace or to feel sheltered/protected. And, then he talks about how woman are emotional and how men should care for them. Anyways, there’s more to this video and it was a conference that took palce in Edmonton. I believe you can find the video in any of the Islamic stores or maybe even at the mosques (I was actually thinking of buying it)... salaaaam ps. one of my favourite shaikhs, cuz he seems to add humor. The way he conveys the truth just amazes me.
  21. Virtues of marriage by sheikh Said Rageah

  23. You can also check out his song, Knaan - Somalia Uh, Yeah, Somalia Yeah, I spit it for my block, It’s an ode, I admit it. Here the city code is lock and load Any minute is rock and roll And you rock and roll, And feel your soul leavin’. It’s just the wrong dance That'll leave you not breathin’. I’m not particularly proud Of this predicament but, I’m born and bred In this tenement, I'm sentimental, What?! Plus it’s only right to represent my hood And what not. So I’m about to do it in the music; in the movies. Cut to the chase pan across to the face I'm right there. Freeze frame on the street name Oops wait a minute, This is where the streets have no name And the drain of sewage. You can see it in this boy how the hate is brewin’ Cause when his tummy tucks in **** the pain is fluid. So what difference does it make, Entertaining threw it. Some get high mixing coke and gun powder, sniffin’. She got a gun but could have been a model or physician. So what you know bout the pirates terrorize the ocean. To never know a simple day without a big commotion. It can’t be healthy just to live with a such steep emotion. And when I try and sleep, I see coffins closin’. (Repeat) Yeah, Yeah, We used to take barb wire Mold them around discarded bike tires. Roll em down the hill in foot blazin’. Now that was our version of mountain bike racing Daammn! Do you see why it’s amazing, When someone comes out of such a dire situation And learns the English language, Just to share his observation! Probably get a Grammy without a grammar education. So **** you school and **** you immigration! And all of you who thought I wouldn’t amount to constipation. And now I’m here without the slightest fear and preservation, They love me in the slums and in the native reservations. The world is a ghetto with ministerin’ deprivation. My mommy didn’t raise no fool did she hooyo? I promise I would get it and remain strictly loyal. Cause when they get it then they let it all switch and spoil. But I just illuminated it like kitchen foil. A lot of main stream niggas is yappin’ about yappin’ A lot of underground niggas is rappin’ about rappin’. I just wanna tell you what’s really crackalackan Before the tears came down this is what happened. So what you know bout the pirates terrorize the ocean. To never know a simple day without a big commotion. It can’t be healthy just to live with a such steep emotion. And when I try and sleep, I see coffins closin’. (Repeat)
  24. Nowadays, Teens are so caught up with fashion, shopping, TV, video games and what not. They tend to underestimate the importance of education. I am wondering the steps the society can take so they can convey how vital it is to be educated in this world so one can get ahead? any thoughts? salaam
