I have always known that bananas were an important part to most Somali diets. I just never realized exactly how important until I had a guest over for dinner. I had just put a large helping of pasta onto a plate when I noticed that we ran out of bananas. My guest exclaimed "Oh my God! God forbid there aren't any bananas!" This person was dead serious. I on the hand hand couldn't stop laughing. What is it about bananas that the majority of Somalis love to eat it with many of their dishes? I can still remember the day I saw someone eat a banana with pasta. I remember thinking that it was utterly disgusting....until I tried it. Let me tell you, you have never experienced real Somali pasta or rice if it wasn't eaten with a banana. lol Yeah we can not survive without banana.

Alhamdulilah you should do whatever you do for Allah swt alone and not to please another human being. But, Amina's point was that men can easily change themselves and people wouldn't care abt his past. However, at the end of the day sister Amina if a sister was bad and changed herself to a better sister and became more religious and became pious and devote and repented. Her Lord would forgive her and inshallah she would be rewarded immensely for her good deeds. Allah swt is merciful and forgives....qofkasta na ha ku duceesta khaatimo fiican, your last deeds is all that counts!! so sister dnt worry abt those girls who r walking around in inappropriate outfits. Inshallah Allah will guide them.... If possible talk to them and see if you can correct them. salaam

LOL ADAM thanks for the laugh. ibti my hair is a lil bit under my shoulder and it took me forever to get them to that length. My hair grows at a very slow rate so no waa diiday I wont cut them. Give me more suggestions though as to how to grow them even longer. I want them to be all the way down to my back inshallah.. salaam
