^yeah you made it quiet clear dear sis, we are very humble and grateful to know there's a sister out there who has such a high regard of us. Thank you lol@ the typical husband..that would be something along the lines of a dude with a bakoorad(cane) expecting a hot casho(dinner) salaam

why is it impossible? find a somali family and tell them you wanna learn about somali culture..it should not be so hard I assume!! anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
-
we have a beautiful culture... we got our own traditional clothings that if you saw us wearing it you would just sigh lol what else we got our own distinct dances, food, poetry... all I can say is few words wont do justice to sum up what our culture is...live with a somali family for a week (thats a somali family that practices their culture) and am sure yu will fall in love with it..or attend a somali wedding ... salaam

Your biggest mistake is assuming he has anything common with anyone else. Just take the time to find out. You don't even have to ask him. Somalis have a great extended network, ou can find out everything about him without asking him anything. Good Luck lol I disagree with that, okey listen to what others say about the person. But, don't believe everything you hear. Somalis have the tendency to change stories and sugar coat it. Before you know it theres a whole new story being told from one halimo to another. Get to know the person and let your own judgment rule you. forget the rest... Sabriya; there is no one better looking and as nice as our dear brothers. They rock [smile] am sure they are I was only teasing bal yeeysan igu cadhoon nimanka Sol salaam

just better looking and nicer. lol ibti oh really? sister100 as everyone repeatedly said treat him as an individual. Get to know him with an open mind, rather than having some preconceived notion. Don't expect nothing everyone comes with their own personality. salaam

am not sure you can generalize a whole ethnicity and put them under one category of personality. Everyone has their own personality regardless of where they came from. However, if you think he likes you and you'r serious about him I GUESS you can give him hints too that you like him without coming across direct. am sure many girls here will tell you go after what you like..bt i wont. give him hints though, nothing wrong with that. And, hopefully don't rush to marriage get to know him. Islamically that's like if u have to go out with him make sure its public place, take couple of your friends with you... Good luck with it.. salaam p.s WELCOME TO SOL

anytime supuu sis.... For me sabayad was always easier than laxoox/ canjeelo/canjeero, but at the end of the day once I got the hang of how to mix and make canjeelo I find it a whole lot easier both mixing and making it...unlike sabayad thats both time and energy consuming... salaam

Amina mashallah I second that too, your daughter is cute mashallah and so are your sons. Alhmadulilah. I always believed just like you that somali gene wasn't that strong, but apparently from ur kids its obvious that they'r mixed. I guess it all depends... salaam
