NNC walaal somali culture is the guy working out and the girl taking care of her family and him making sure that he provides well. So you dont expect fathers when moving abroad to change their habit and way of life. Laakin, gradually the younger generation those in our age group are understanding that we sisters are pursuing higher education and have the right to choose to work. I am not sure about the statistics lol but I do know enough young couples who girls work and their husbands are supportive. And, am sure the numbers will increase along the path... salaam

NNC, could you ask the sister if she would consider marry a brother with a disability? lol koolkat ma maqashay habar fadhida lagdin la fudud none of us will ever know what this sister is going throu being disable and being judged because of that. tan kale if she married a disabled guy I think life would be difficult. Shes better off with a guy who doesnt have disability who has strong iman. I personally know a guy who is on wheelchair and his wife doesnt have any disability and she loves him n admires him. It is all about calaf... Amna ilaahay haku sahlo walaal. waxa aan dhoho ma garanayo ka aheen ilaahay haku cawiyo

^lol Faduma nakruma rocks walahi... soo tii tidhi caruurta cuntada sii oo sariirta ku tuur ana ladan baa iskulka igu so turasa markasu yidhi anuu shaah uun baan karin kara There is nothing wrong with sharing household chores with your spouse. But, it has be "shared".I dont agree with the guy staying home all day long..I find that a bit gayish lol.. salaam

Find me a Somali Man who loves his children that much. There are fathers out there who raised their kids when the circumstance asks for it who are good and loving and there is nothing wrong with that a father is a parent and he has the capability to love and raise his kids. But full time stay at home daddy? when the mom is there?...now that's asking too much. How about you both work different shifts and take turns? that sounds good enough. And, if he makes crazy money and you don't need that extra income then it wouldnt hurt to stay at home for the first few yrs of your children... again depends on your income and what type of career you are sacrificing. If you have a professional job it will be harder to stay at home with the kids and you might wanna send them to good private daycares....at the end of the day thou you need to know if it worth it?..like personally I HATE daycares....but when someone established a career that they spend so many years studying it might be hard to give up all that for kids....so maybe that's where it comes when the guy covers some of the day and helps you out. Otherwise, if you have a dead end job let the man work and you can take care of the kids. salaam

Somaliland attacked villages of Geeljire's with armorred vehicles, now even if they take the control of those areas, one does not see how does that add up anything to the equation of Somaliland. Utterly rediculous and war based on clan hate as it seems. Kuun-Kuun-Laminaa, Well put. This shows that they are only interested in the land not the people. And, obviously it's war based on qabiil. Will they kill their elders or pregnant woman in hargaisa, or burco?? Of course Not!!.. So much for democracy iyo qashin...who do they think buys that propaganda? the blind or the deaf! Duke adeer, I am glad you sided with me on this issue. Puntland needs new leaders if they want to play more important role in the ssc regions. Mr faroole failed......I also doubt cowke being a puntlander lol...bt this is nothing more than a forum and people's opinions. It doesn't matter... salaam

Yes when it comes discussing the well documented attempted genocide at the hands of the former regime against my region where my cities were leveled to the ground mind you many folks from the so call SSC partook in helping the regime carry out its plans. Clearly you dont know your history many of your so called somaliland leaders were part of Siyad barre's government. So, if you should be angry at anyone it should be them...waxba meshan ha ooying about the past when the same people who took part of that incident are your leaders today. Hedhe cuqdada iska saaar kulaha many folks of SSC took part. But what has somaliland done to you to cause this outburst of anger and hate on constant basis. It's time to quit playing the victim card it doesn't suit you. Las Anood is your city run by the locals. The governor, the police and pretty much all the important posts are by the locals. This hargeysa bogeyman does not exist. Somaliland invaded SSC regions if you are not aware of it. Mise you just like to talk just for the sake of talking instead of trying to make sense. Seriously don't butt in issues that do you not concern you. I do not even want to waste a minute trying to make you understand the current issues. Clearly you blind folded yourself and only want to see things in your own way. I'm very much aware of your political stand and the truth came out your third post on this thread...Trying to act all innocent and saying how this is btw politicians on yur 2nd post lol....Are you kidding Red Sea?..If anyone has obsession with politics even thou he's an average Farah in the states is You. Your comments are not needed here. so halka ku joogto...inakala wad. Loma baahna hadalo maanto dhan lugu so celceliyo. Have your political views, and I will have mine. End of Story!
