Also, in the Quran it says a person is not allowed to harm their body. So, we can safely say smoking is haraam. I honestly don't know why anyone smokes. Theres absolutely no advantage to it. Anyhow, may allah swt help those who are trying to quit such a dangerous habit. Not only is it bad for the smokers but it affects those who share their lives with them. Second hand smoking happens to be even worse than smoking. salaam
