^LOL Cara.. It is good to be on your own sometimes to reflect on life. But, lets not over do it with this "me time" lol.. I came from a large family and alhmadulilah I tend to enjoy the loud noise and I barely get time where I am alone..between family and friends. ilaahay cidlo nama dhigo..but i hear you that at times you need a break from everything and everyone and give yourself a break and do something on your own..not a bad idea! salaam p.s speaking abt movies couple of days ago I went to see Prince of Persia. Awesome movie. I recommend it.

I met my new replacement & I gotta say Wow she's beautiful in every way It almost made me wonder if i made a mistake I started to question like 'what if i'd stayed?' but it only took a few minutes of conversation to know i was right it all sounds familiar the same old lies and she wouldn't say she was miserable but i could tell by the tears in her eyes honestly i felt like... looking in the mirror seeing myself if we stayed together i'd be going through hell guess i dodged your bullets i missed a tragedy and all i keep thinking is it could have been me could of been me yea-aa could of been me yea-aa yea, all i keep thinking is it could have been me i guess i'm just a little disappointed i thought you would have grown up can't you see that shes hurting the same way i was but you were never really any good at being there for someone you were too into yourself to care about what i want if your treating her the way you treated me i understand those tears in her eyes honestly it feels like... looking in the mirror seeing myself if we stayed together i'd be going through hell guess i dodged your bullets i missed a tragedy and all i keep thinking is it could have been me could of been me yea-aa could of been me yea-aa yea, all i keep thinking is it could have been me she's a reflection of how it would be tears always falling and lies constantly the way you treat her is telling me i made the right decision cos this feels like...i'm looking in the mirror For some reason his songs come across as if he's gay lol...but seems he writes songs for female singers. Amazing song thou. Great msg. salaam

I visited Rinkeby before, it is full of Somalis. But think abt it, these dumb kids are fighting because they weren't allowed to a school dance. How s-tupid can they get...THEY BURNED DOWN THE SCHOOL??!!!!. I-diots!! In France there are riots because of unemployment and they are Moroccan and West African immigrant youth. If they seriously fight for that cause then they're smart...BUT THESE SOMALI KIDS burn a school and attacked a police station for being banned from a SCHOOL DANCE. You know I can confidently say that they were banned from the dance due to their volatile attitude. Walking embarrassment!!! ------------- qurba joog wadankeena qorshaha ku darsada

Google background images offer new styles for your homepage How to set your own – but is there any way to remove Google background images? Google background images took over the homepage today, but here's how to use your own pictures. By Chris Gaylord / June 10, 2010 Google background images have taken over. This new feature, introduced last week, allows users to set their own background picture for the Google homepage. To show off the new function, the search engine took the liberty of deciding for you – at least for today. How "Bing" of them. Skip to next paragraph "Whether you choose a photo of a loved one, a picture of your favorite vacation destination or even a design you created yourself, Google.com is now yours to customize," reads Google's official announcement. But if Thursday's default pick, glossy sculptures by Jeff Koons, don't fit your personal style, don't worry. Here's how to select your own picture. Step 1: Start off by thinking of a few pictures that you'd want staring back at you every time Google.com opens. Now go through a quick weeding-out process. A closeup of kids' faces might not be the best choice, because Google's logo and search bar might cover up their smiling mugs. Similarly, consider skipping images where all of the action takes place in the center of the shot. Landscapes work well – maybe a nice vacation shot? Once you've picked an excellent candidate, save that image to your desktop. Step 2: Head to Google.com and click on the "Change background image" link in the bottom-left corner. This will open a window with all of the Google background options. Hit "Browse" to find the image on your desktop – or, choose "Public gallery" and "Editor's picks" to select from Google's free image gallery. Step 3: When you're ready, hit "upload." (If you picked one of Google's suggestions, click on "select" instead.) And, presto! The image is now wallpapered on your Google homepage. If you don't want any background image, you'll probably need to wait until tomorrow. (We can't figure out a way to remove Google background images and revert back to basic white. Google keeps returning to Koons' artwork.) "For those of you outside of the U.S., you can expect to see this new feature in the coming days as we roll it out internationally to offer similar, consistent experiences globally," Google adds in its announcement. The company insists that these images will not slow down searches or loading times. However, some of us here at the Monitor wonder if this new feature will decrease the number of new Google doodles. From Pacman to a 9 year old's hand-drawn Doodle 4 Google, those specialty banners have been rolling out regularly over the past few weeks. Will background and doodles feel like overload? The Pacman doodle alone kinda destroyed office productivity.

lol actually this topic was about the fact that you guys were disrespecting the girl's hairdo..n that aint hijaab unless you folks see what I DON'T see.. btw I won't tell you how I wear my hijaab...waa diiday. That miskiin girl baaba amaan ka heli waydey. salaam
-
^^ You see how we fell into muraan? [big Grin] Bishaaro believs she is wearing a hijaab, adeer. What about you? Why are you embarrassed about the style you wear? [Razz] lol if the girl thinks she is wearing hijaab, then that is a whole different story. Even then I guess she is entitled to believe whatever.. n I am not embarrassed abt how I wear my hijaab don't twist it adeer. It is simply irrelevant

^adeer birshaaro xijaab ma xidhna horta okiyaalo so gado kow dheh...tan labaad xijaabka saan u xidho hadaan ku sheego laluush miyaad isiin ------------- qurba joog wadankeena qorshaha ku darsada

I shave it off all the time. Lakin lets leave my hair and talk about yours instead, adeer. What style do you wear your hijab on? (genuine question to keep the thread going). [big Grin] lol are you sure adeer in aadan bidaarta astureen Mzanzi doesn't wear hijaab last I knew she went through gender transformation..now she is a man. ..Anything is possible in SOL ------------- qurba joog wadankeena qorshaha ku darsada

How private is private? Will it be ok to comment on her dress sense as we sit at home watching Universal TV for example? [big Grin] private would mean email her or call her up and be like " hey girl I THINK your hairdo is odd"...marka arag haday wax ka maqasho ------------- qurba joog wadankeena qorshaha ku darsada

oh for goodness sake lol, hate maxaa keenay; one of those misused words. Like Blessed said I wouldn't let her appear like that in public if I knew her cause it just looks awful- the thing on her head whether it's a hijab or accessory or whatever. It's just bad style, it's ugly. I'd tell her if I cared and she'd decide to keep it that way or change it and that would be the end of it. Maybe it's the programme-makers requirement and not hers. Who cares if she's a nice person or pretty or related to someone here or a SOL member; none of that is relevant to her style sense on that show which is what I'm referring to. It's ugly and I'd describe it to her as a dead bird roosting on her head if I knew her. Cause that's what that sh*t looks like. [Embarrassed] Somalis' dress sense is as bad as their comprehension of what is in the written form. As Resistance said if you want to correct her and think she has a bad style do it privately. But at the end of the day everyone is entitled to dress however way they want..Laakin hadaan walaalo nahay ma xuma in nasixa la isa siiyo marka haday walaal dhab ka tahay gabadha u sheeg. N the thing on her head isn't that wig? why would any of you think that is hijaab is beyond me? This ethiopian girl I know has similar hair style.... With that been said, I personally don't see anything wrong with her hairdo...each on his/her own. salaam ------------- qurba joog wadankeena qorshaha ku darsada
