Ramadan Mubarak. Yet another chance to change for the better. Alhamdulilah I have so many ways that I plan to change for the better. More prayers/more reading quran etc. Inshallah lets take full advantage of this ramadan and inshallah may that change still continue within the year. Haatu no offense intended but you are not suppose to wake up late in Ramadan. You have to feel how that unfortunate feel. Waking up late kinda takes the whole purpose of the month out... Garoowe you are right life is too short. You see life passing you fast and you are not catching to it. At least that is how I feel every year where did the other year go ramadan was just now? Ilaahay ha aqbalo and I do think this Ramadan might be a bit more difficult due to this extra hot weather...but thats even better you get more ajar inshallah. Ramadan is not suppose to be easy... Doesn't really believe in religion anymore. The older I get the more I think this stuff is all made up. I think when u die you just die, there's no heaven and hell. I do believe in God, just not religion walaal that does not really add up.It is understandable for one to say hey I dont believe in God thus I am not accoutable to no one and I will die and thats it. Again I said it is understable not that its the right thing to say. However, your friend claims to believe in God yet not in religon. Obviously, if she believes in God then she has to understand that God did not just created us for the heck of it. But, rather that we are accoutable to our actions. Thats where religion comes in the picture, that we have to meet certain conditions and obligations in order to please the one and only Allah swt. I agree with NNC that how everyone conducts themselves is only between themselves and the one who careated them. But, they are giving bad impression of Islam, it would better if they dressed in western fashion if they want to dance in that manner. btw they dont seem to be dancing, but rather enacting an intimate yet inappropriate scene in front of everyone specially children. I think you watch far too many movies. LOL. Moving abroad is not a recipe for marital disaster no hun you misunderstood me. The key phrase here isnt moving abroad but whether she knows the guy well enough to make such a huge sacrifice. And, am not assuming anything but all I said was if she doesnt know him all that well she should think again about this. She shouldn't buy what he tells her solely she should get to know his family and whoever he deals with. Thats just my opinion and no I am not paranoid because I watch too much movies. Like Chubacka said make sure you know the guy through and through before you decide to move away from your family and live with him across seas. You should get to know his family, friends and people he usually mix with. That way you have more idea about him.. Other than that I hope he isn't some random guy you met who you dont have a clue abt or his family and only take his word..You shouldnt trust a man that easily.. All the best inshallah.. Take a chance, live a little. What's the worse that could happen? If she marries someone she barely knows who lives across seas? I think anything bad is a game....or maybe I am just "paranoid" and don't trust ppl dat easily. It was wrong when the England team was not allowed that score. And, that wasnt fair, they should have video tech at soccer games.I mean how do you expect a referee to detect every little thing. But, I remember them sayin that they will have at 2014 so inshallah such unfairness will not take place again. That been said, the English team cant use as an excuse the goal that was disallowed discouraged them from getting any other goals. This is Fifa world cup they still could have stepped up their game...but they didnt. And, the German team overall did much better than the English team and deserved their victory. salaam
