lol waxa nuune so qorayo miyadan arkeen (even thou im not sure if thats the borame lahjad)..But, I was told many times the difference between their dialect and the typical somali dialect (south vs north) is strong!....at least the southern and the northern dialects for the most part you can understand one another maybe at times u wouldnt but thats hardly communication gap.. salaam

I believe MMA is from there and should have known it lol..sadly the man was raised in hamar..so I guess he lost on the opportunity of knowing that unique dialect..... My dad actually worked in borame briefly and he would tell me few words that I cant even remember now that definitely sounded foreign to my ears lol... it is amazing how people who consider themselves somali would speak totally different lingo ( shows you how a language can evolve in time...interesting!!!)...and even dadka la dhoho barawani or somein reer hamarka cadcad..they also speak luqad aan ka yaabay lol.... Ula: Usha Lang: Ninka Goridaase: Taqaano ing: Ayaa loo Dhiibooy: Dhiibtaa loool trust Nuune to know everything. Waxana maxa ku baray...Ma O-gadenia kugu bareen LOL

Aaliyyah, it's a less hectic and much cheaper( 5* hotel weddings are not included) to marry locally, don't you think? I wasn't implying that we are better than tho in Africa, even though we are better off "financially" speaking, inta badan dadka Africa naga jooga. I am not too certain but I always had this idea that guys went back to Somalia for financial reasons (like they didnt want to have any wedding expenses)...Even, those I know who went back for a wife most of them leave them there (yago aminsan halkan hadaan keeno way iga walansa and also noting the huge age difference lol)...inta waxa u dheer that he will send her 200 or 500 dollars a month..much cheaper than the xalimo who wants over 1000 dollar rent ..or maybe others who want a house (like moi lol)...and not to mention the wedding expenses but even if the sister who lives locally says aroos sasa qaali ah ma rabo I am sure he will still spend couple of thousands...in Somalia I am assuming any relative house baa inti ehelka la isku yeedho shiekhana imanaya oo shaqada dhameestiraya lol...thats at least my understanding... Bilan I don't mind too much staying home if kids are involved. I would want to raise my kids and I have said tons of time that I hate day care system...However, with that been said if you dont have kids theres no reason to sit home and cook for him. On top of that if your kids reach school age you should also be able to work.... Nuune lol this is not about hating cooking or leaving someone starved? even thou is it my job to feed him nin weyn weeye muu si dabaro lol..I was just saying it shouldnt be my only job ( and also im sure its ideal if he cooks too..)...but basically what I meant was a man should encourage his wife to work especially like I said when theres no kids involved... Also, if there are kids involved. They could take turns to take care of the kids ..like say the wife cant work full time obviously and she could stay with them most of the day. But, it would be nice if he could let her hold part time job for her sanity...taking care of kids 24/7 can definitely take a toll on someone!!..And I am mainly talking abt when kids are really young and you are avoiding daycare!.. Zack lol who was your source? Seriously???..Next time before you announce someone's marriage confirm with them LMAO.. ANYHOW, I think ill stop trolling on MMA'S post =)... salaam

^^well I know the sharia should be applied to all..But, seriously ya ku dabaqaya odayaashana???..I honestly think by now they would have been killed with the way they exaggerate and give misconceptions about Islam... As for everyone being allowed to implement the shari3a I was not aware of that walaal. Can you please post some daliil? Jazakalah...Can I for instance be a killer and yet apply the sharica? isnt that contradiction??...

Darn, I was asking my self why would one go all the way to islii dhiiqo to find a qalanjo, while they are all over U S of A. Zack waa in maxkamad la saaraa! lol honestly I believe that someone has to find a person where they live (no need to go all the way back home whether it is somalia or nairobi)..However, if someone goes back home for vacation and finds someone they love..why not?? A friend of mine couple years back when she was like 19 went back for vacation and got married to some guy back there...same with a friend of another friend...many of us might say why the hell would young good looking sisters with bright future go back and marry someone there ...I think it all boils down to calaf! Nothing wrong with marrying ppl from back home...Of course its a whole lot better to marry someone who lives in the same city as you who knows nolosha qurbada who is educated and can provide a good life....bt yea it doesnt work like that all the time...and I personallity dislike the attitude that many of us have as if we are better from ppl back home..just over 20 years ago our families were back home...for others less than that...so cagaha dhulka aan dhigano ... btw from what I heard the education level in Kenya is suprior to here like a relative of mine took her duaghters ther who were in grade 11 and 12 I think she told us they put them both in grade 8 lol..and now they are back to Toronto they are like balaya mesha nugu celisa lol.....so yeah who knows a somali guy might find cultured religious and educated sister there...im a little hesitant for girls to marry someone from back home (especially because for many of us even thou we might be cultured would not want hard core cultured men)...I have met many somali guys who grew up back home who want their wives sitting home period..like theres no way around that lol...theres like no room for discussion guriga fadhi cashada dabka isaar...arghhhh.. salaam

waxa layidhi qofka walaalki ceebtiisa banaanka dhiga asna ilaahay ayaa humiliate gareenaya maalinta qiyaame..so think things through. Even thou you are justifying this by saying hey this stuff is already public..bt many of us dont follow such stories...many of these ppl I have neverseen their pics or heard what they did I am usually sensitive to these kinda stories ...I hate reading it...!!.. Anyhow, they are serving time behind bars for what they did, you dnt need to let the whole world know!....I dnt mean to preach just saying.. What you need to understand is that no community is perfect. No community has members where they don't commit crime. True said. I was watching last time a clip talking about many young somali guys who were killed in Alberta....deep in our heart we want to believe that our community those of us abroad came here for a better life and would never do such inhumane actions..sadly that is not the case.! we have our killers/murders/ and strayed beings.....alle hano sahlo! Btw if any of u wanna see it..this is the particular video im referring to...it is heart breaking! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2HZ4PDlPSw salaam
