  2. Nina I pray with the Pakistanis or are they even pakistanis? i'm not really sure..they could be mixed of pakis/indians and afghanis lol... anyways, I prefer to pray with Somalis runtii..oo safku wax saxsanyahay..kuwan qofba meel bu daganyahay haday xita kuso ag istagaan ma fahmaan in yacni labada qof shoulder to shoulder la noqdo..oo diintu saas sheegtay!..laakin somali mosque waxaan ku necbahay their parking are usually really full..kuwan dumarkodu badana guryaha beey ku tukadaan baan isidhi lol..islamaha somaliyed laakin masajida bay buxiyaan mana xuma runti im just saying more space in the paki's mosques..inkasto alle yidhi masjid alle baa leh oo magacana luguma lifaqi karo i just mean the majority of the ppl that pray there are either pakistanis or somalis.. my 2 cents!
  3. ^ horta most of us are sadly nationalistic and prefer to stick with somalis..laakin waxaas wax diinta raacsan ma aha..diinteenu waxay na farasa in aan qof diin leh waxkasta ka horumarino. Marka gabadha guursatay nin cad oo muslim ah wax danbi ah oo ay gashay ma jirto marka edab yeelo oo afkaaga buqul u tolo..oo xita hadad aminsantahay to stick with somalis keep it to yourself! salaam
  4. personally anu shabab wax wacan kama maqlin oo aan ku ayido, laakin at the same time TFG yaguba they are far from perfect..laakin umadu in ay dhiga joojiso in ay daadiso oo nabad horta la helo aya waxkasta ka qiimo badan ayaan u maleenaya sida la dhoho dawlad xun aya dawlad la'aan ka wacan.. salaam
  5. alle baa og sida xamar u wacan, anuu waxaan ilaahay uga rajaynaya uun faraj wacan iyo in dhibta umada masaakinta 20 sano ka badan haysato ilaahay ka dul qaado insha'allah.. salaam
  6. I don't think it is right..at least I wouldn't go to my dad and say aabo I met this farah on facebook..cebey tacaal! sorry folks stick with the ppl u met face to face, that is initially met face to face as oppose to online ..bt if u wanna be friends with ppl over fb that's fine (even that you gotta be still cautious aduunka la jooga waxkasta ka fil).. salaam

  10. Abu Salman lol I guess he has..and it is the truth. Sad but the truth! even my ayeeyo once told me marka mi-dgan la guursanayo niman ma dhamadeen! I personally don't even know any mi-dgans or maybe I do I just never asked about their tribes! but the older people care about tribes so much! it is crazy! I don't think qabiil should be an issue when it comes to marriage.!.. and somalis populating certain parts of the city is again the sad reality!.. n the cousin thing is so true not as prevalent in Somalis though..even thou my mom couple times said inaderka yu ku dhafin..am like what? excuse me? and anyhow the other day this lady was talking to this other lady and she was like "ninkaagi horeba inadeerka buu aha ee ku xumeeye marka guuri sokeeye ma leh wa hog gacanta la galiyey" ..if that isn't the truth I don't know what is...LOL Anyways, love this shiekh. Love the way he preaches subhanalah it is heartfelt! alle khyr ha siiyo Muslim1st-Somali2nd wa iyaki!.. salaam

  15. I think you live in the past, none of that really exist nowadays... even back home many of my cousins only have four/three kids...khasab ma jiro! People choose to live their life how they want!. gudniinkana dadku hada way fahmeen in uu wacneen..ka sunaha ka sakow! As for a 7 years old wearing hijaab? so what? I left somalia much younger than that..and still wore my hijaab at 7. That has a lot to do with how the family wants to raise their kids up?...how come lugugaab yar ilmaha marka lo xidhi is freedom laakin hijaab ma aha freedom? both times you are teaching the child a code of dressing...so doesnt a parent has the right to instil in their child what they think is right? ofcourse 15 xijaab lugu khasbo ma aminsani anigu..laakin if u teach ur child the importance of hijaab at 7 theres more chance a girl by 15 yrs old would adjust to it and know her deen... waligay ma fahmo dadka dhaha gabadhahdeedu xijaab waxay xidhanasa high school markay gaadho...ma waxyi baa kusoo dagaya...just like we send our kids to school from young age...whatever is important to u u gotta teach them at that young age...bari is too damn late! With that been said, I think you should worry about the sad state somalia finds itself today..teh famine the civil war etc... salaam

  24. Nice article... unfortunately, it is human nature to judge one another based on looks... no guy looks at your eyes and goes..mashallah that's the door to your heart ..more like mashallah u look good ..and vice versa..but ofcourse personality also plays a huge role...bt usually its looks than personality!..thats just the way it is.. as for crying? everyone should have that soft side..of course women tend to be more emotional! thats true! I honestly cry watching movies forget wax kale waa isla yaaba sometimes LOL.. salaam
