lool women are your mothers, sisters, and daughters adeer...marka ka xishood.

lol no descrimination sis, I just meant tight clothings are wrong regardless of whether a sister has a hijaab on top of her head or not....I know sisters who dont wear hijaab but wear baggy clothes and those typa sisters I respect.. But a hijaabi with tight clothings..kuwaas are giving the wrong impression of islam so i just cant say I hold the same respect for them. But each on his own.. salaam

just noticed u asked me how i'm doing sorry abt that. I am doing good girl yourself?
-
Laychee lol ilaahay ima xidho tight jeans with a hijaab ..no offense to those who do it! but you gotta be one side (i honestly dont like confused ppl lol).. Anyhow, to answer your question I wear hijaab with a black abaya (so i guess that would put me in your full hijaabi category lol)..and I meant looking good not wearing high heels but just looking good ...wearing nice hijaab, nice jewelery basically fixing yourself so you can feel better..and you are right girls who wear tight clothes or high heels clearly are not doing it for themselves (high heels are clearly uncomfortable anu maba xidho unless aroos aado )..all that hassle for a guy? not worth it!! salaam
-
I dont know about other ppl but I dress up to look good for meeeeeeee and I am hijaabi (I feel better when I look better lol)...bt who knows maybe girls dress up to outdo one another and maybe they dress up to attract guys...everyone is unique and have their own reasons AND also if i take an example nothing to do with girls who dont wear hijaab, but generally when we are invited to only girls aroosyo (aroosyada lakala sooco) you would see that every girl put so much effort to look good (so who knows myabe they are trying to outdo one another ana ka quruxbadan yacni lol) Or, unless they want the ladies to notice their beauty and go (allah gabadhaada quruxbadna inankeeyga ku dar hehe) salaam
-
I gotta share them dee LOL

^I KNOW that hadith hun, but I assumed it was referring to a real human hair but now that u said Allah swt curses ladies who lengethen their hair artificially that probably means it doesnt make a different whether it is human hair or synthetic hair...but you know what qofku wixi ilaahay siiyay in uu iska aamino is good..alhamdulilah i will just stick to my hair ...(when i was getting the hair extentions for the first by this black lady I was neighbors with she was like you somalis have a soft hair and she was admiring my hair and i was like ma ana waalan mise tana waalan for everyone the grass is greener at the other side lool) Juxa lol@ madax adkahay more like tima adkahay laakin not too kinky..semi kinky . salaam

Ms Moon I think stoic gave you some legit answer. But, I personally never understood people who do nikaax and then have a wedding year later..it is like u got married a year ago maxaad isla dhibi oo aroos weyn ka dhigi..u either have a wedding right away or you forget abt it..bt thats my opinion so each on his own.. I careless about the dhaqan but hanging out with a guy for a long time is islamically not valid (even though I always say u need to date the dude a year before u marry him the truth is ..where a guy and a girl are alone the third is sheydan as the prophet csw said so it is better to get married sooner but then again u are taking a risk given that u dnt know him too well..hadana to be honest u never know anyone too well i know ppl who dated forever hadana wali guursaneen it becomes a way of life dating this farah and then moving on to another lmao..never ending cycle) my 2 cents! salaam

lol it was actually the arab girls from my uni who asked me that i guess they think most somalis got kinky hair ana halkana tima dheer oo mashallah ah isku dhajiyay ...(or maybe they were just asking for the sake of asking let me not make any assumptions) as for plucking your eyebrows I heard million times that it is haraam and I have never ever plucked my eyebrows i love them the way they are and I think there is one view on it just like attaching a human hair to ur real hair so it is haraam and there is no room for debate concerning that issue.. bt i think when it comes to synthetic hair theres different views so im looking for a precise hadith that bans such practice.. and im not after fuller hair but rather longer hair and im also growing my hair...i started from scratch so now a years growth is like a bit below my shoulder..i have tried every damn oil in the store and they look healthier so another year we will seee insha'allah...as for making it curly i do make it curly too..I do like curly hair (bt my hair is already naturally full i just do it cuz i like the look of it) salaam
