^ You like that? Not for me, same with Jamaican accent, they sound too masculine for a woman to speak like that. For me, the Somali accent is xaax badanaa!!

LOL@Polska, that cracks me up, Norf. Besides, I thought it was supposed to be called Bulgaria now, I was hearing that all the Polacks made their money in England, and are now moving back to the real Polska. Anyone who wants a guided tour around Calgary, you know where to find me!!

^She might as well be, it's not like the Raptors are any good..... Anyways, I got this cute little card from my daughter Layla that she made in school. It says "Love Layla Happy Day Fathers" I think she got it backwards but it's the cutest thing in the world, and the front of the card is shaped like a suit and tie, although I've never worn a suit in my life It's going on the fridge!!

LOL So now I have to convert your height too.... Let's see here, 1 inch=2.54 cm, so you're 68 inches tall, and that is 5'8". At 176 lbs. you might be a little overweight.
-
How tall are you? Because if you're over 6'2", I don;t think 176 lbs. is enough I'm 6'0" and very big-boned, but I can only use that excuse up to a certain point, and I passed that point years ago
-
1 kg=2.2 lbs. So 80 kgs would be 176 lbs.

^ I remember you telling me "It's right there, look you can see the dome" so I said "Oh yeah, there it is", while I was thinking "Where? I don't see any dome" But yeah, definitely a nice walk in the park. Hopefully next time I'm in better shape for it.

One place I keep forgetting about that I went to was Regent's Park Mosque. Toure took me there for Asr prayer. Man, that place is awesome!! I think I keep forgetting about that place because I didn't take my camera with me that day, so I didn't get to take any pictures of it. My memory is terrible. Insha Allah when I come back next year, I'll be going there again. LOL and the walk through Regent's Park was long and winding. I kept asking Toure "how much longer? Huff....puff...."
-
I don't know which place is worst, but I can say this: Newham may look like a ghetto, but I like it Ask Northerner about the fight we saw at a bus station close to our hotel in Stratford, I don't remember much about it, I just kept my head down and kept walking

Hi Blessed. Are you back in Dubai now? You're joining us in January? By then hopefully I'm in much better shape than I am right now. I hit the treadmill for an hour today and according to the machine, I walked 2 1/2 miles and burned 730 calories. I hope that's accurate because I had steak and lasagna for breakfast.

I checked it out on Netscape 9.0 and I don't see any problems. I'm running XP Home edition, no idea what the resolution is.

^She knows Italian, saxib. I'm guessing "small" is "piccoli".

Scorpion_Sista, you didn't have to post your weight just because I did But anytime on Friday is fine.

Why don't you go now? I know it's only 7:00pm there, they're still open. I know how it's hard to go to the gym regularly, it seems once you fall out of the routine of going, you just don't want to go back. I stopped going to the gym for 1 1/2 years and only started going back 3 days ago, but I have to push myself for many reasons. My health, to look better, to find a wife because no one wants a fat guy , my kids won't have to grow up without a father because he died of a heart attack at a young age, etc. It's always good to look at the big picture.

It's been raining out here in Calgary for the last 2 weeks as if it was London, but the sky has cleared up and gotten warm just in time for Saturday!! Gonna go hit the gym, then probably take the kids swimming. I just have to get my a$$ off this chair.....

^LOL You mean hook up as in marry? Nah, that was only a vacation, besides immigration is too much of a hassle, and any woman in her right mind wouldn't leave London to move to redneckville Calgary. Besides, that's why I'm visiting Toronto in the next couple of months insha Allah be prepared. Although I have to admit I have lots of beautiful friends, each and every one of them...... I met quite a few current and ex-members of SOL, all of them great people with their own unique personalities, but I won't qarxis them here. And Brits are really not much different from us, at least from what I could tell. They were all friendly, or at least civil, except for the one Indian shop owner who was a real prick, and then there were the people who instantly thought I was American because of my accent. Other than that, and their different slang, which I already know anyways, they're not much different from Canadians. We're all subjects of the Queen anyways. And yes Kool Kat you're right, I didn't know when I was getting hot water, and the one day I had to take a cold bath *brrrrrr* The roads are absolutely tiny, and I wasn't even going to think about trying to drive on the left side of the road, it's just way too confusing. Not to mention that whenever I crossed the street, I was still in the habit of looking left first because that's the way I would look first in Canada, because we drive normally , that is on the right side of the road. I almost walked into oncoming traffic but Toure stopped me at the last second before I got hit  Yes, poor Northerner got arrested because of me(sorry about that ) He was helping me buy an Oyster card inside the Stratford Station, later when I got back to the hotel, he told me all about it. And we were waiting for that bloody parking spot for like 10 minutes, waiting for the people that were there already to finally move!! But apparently that wasn't an actual parking spot.

OK then, let's start this thing. I will be posting my progress weekly insha Allah. Been hitting the gym and eating better and less, and spending less time on the internet. Hopefully this pays off!! As of today, I am at 299 lbs., which means I've already lost 15 pounds, and plan to lose 90 more. Let's see where I am next Friday insha Allah.

Bro than can actually lead to negative effects. Your body needs constant supply of nutritious food to fuel the metabolism. If your metabolism is slow, the body stores whatever it can get as fat. It's like a survival mechanism, if you skip breakfast and don't eat till afternoon, your body will store most of that food as fat, because it doesn't know when the next supply of food is gonna come. So it will digest that food slowly. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it kick starts your metabolism, and the more regularly you eat, the higher the rate is gonna be, which would eventually lead to weight loss. I'm gonna keep doing my current routine but I'll post updates of my meals and work out routines. No weight update tho So basically it's better to eat in the morning rather than the nighttime? I'll need to remember that. Since I work during the evening, I usually eat right away when I come home at 11pm and then sleep a couple of hours later. Should I stop eating late like that? P.S. Isseh, continue your cantarabaqash I don't mind.

We are going to do a weekly weight loss report- we should weight ourselves at the beginning of each week and then at the end…We can start this Friday June 13, 2008 and we would report our weight loss accomplishment or lack of on Friday June 20, 2008 2. Abstain from Fast Food for one month 3. Exercise-this would depend on the individuals, some can go to gym, walking, sports, etc. 4. Meals: We can do 6 small meals or we can do smaller portions of whatever meals we have the time to eat…We should try to change our eating habit for this. I think this is a great idea knowing you have to report your weight for everyone definitely might help that “French-fries” loss its appeal Nephthys we ladies are definitely going to need your support during the “water retention” time, so better have those fingers ready to write words of inspiration to keep us from giving up when the weight isn’t dropping. Does this work for you guys? Does this work for you guys? Can make any suggestions or additions you want. Bee bye Geez, I'm the one who started the thread, and now I'm not even included in the group!! But seriously, I'm in, and that plan looks good to me. -We can report our weights every Friday, we should start a new thread for this and ask Admin to sticky it, cuz there's too much cantarabaqash in this one. -I want to abstain from fast food almost completely, that was one of my biggest problems, apart from eating chips. -for exercise, I've already started hitting the gym doing 1/2 hour to an hour on the treadmill and when I've lost enough weight, I'll start pumping some iron -I don't like the idea of eating 5-6 small meals, I prefer what I'm doing now, which is 2-3 big meals a day with more fruits and veggies.
