I read somewhere that DDR's Workout mode is better than Wii Fit. At least it's somewhat working for me, anyway.

^LOL@ wack wack They're in Anaheim man, you got the pitiful L.A. Kings to cheer for. Time to bring this thread back. Flames are on top of their division and kicked Ottawa's *** last night.

Vikings win the NFC North title for the first time since 2000 on a last-second field goal, so I'm sure our Minnesota friends are happy today.

This list must be only for Brits because honestly, I don't get most of those. Being 30 ain't so bad, of course when I was 20 I wouldn't have said that Being 40 is a different story.....

Emperor, you should've been out shopping today, that is if you don't mind brushing up against a few thousand other shoppers I sure as hell didn't mind, I got myself a PS2 for $88, which are on for $128 regular price. Boxing Day is christmas for me.

A thread full of women talking about marriage proposals, this shoiuld turn out to be interesting I'm guessing we might soon have to change the title to "unrealistic expectations" As for me, I don't remember how I proposed, but it wasn't like DD's experience, nor was it like Aaliyah's expectation(chuckle), but somewhere in the middle.

This car's nice, but only has room for 2 passengers. I need room for at least 6. I've fallen in with immigrants, remember.....

Actually, no one in my family went to Somalia, I mean the guys who were over at the house that day went to Somalia, at least I think they did. By the time the Canadian military went into Somalia, most of my military relatives were already out of the military, my dad included. But the Canadians were there as part of the UN peacekeeping operations I believe, they were based in Beledweyn, and finally pulled out in 1995.

I come from a somewhat military family, as my father, 2 aunts, 1 uncle, and both my awoowes served in the Canadian military, but I'd never join the military, I'm too lazy and not good at taking orders. This actually reminds me of a time when I was over at my aunt's house and she had some of her military co-workers over and we were watching Jeopardy on TV. There was one black contestant, and these guys were all laughing at him, calling him "nigger" and cracking watermelon jokes about him. I was only 15 back then and I was shocked, this was the first time I ever encountered racism like that, obviously not directed at me. Sadly as well, I think they all served in Somalia when the Canadian military was there in 1995.

That's what I was thinking, what exactly makes a hotel "Islamic" and "sharia-compliant"?

Originally posted by Haneefah: Allah Macakum. Surprisingly, it's not that terrible in the west. Still cold though, -24 with wind chill making it feel like -36 today. But at least we can feel better knowing we're not the only ones with horrible weather

As a mother, I'm sure KK will always be sympathetic to a woman in labour I've seen childbirth twice, so I would be the same way. Trust me Resistance, you can never say they're "only" contractions....

^Looks like we're the ones who are in for a brutal winter this year, it's -30 degrees today and I have to say I'm impressed, it usually doesn't get this cold until early February in Calgary, and it's gonna stay cold all week according to the weather channel.

Malaysia's too far away from me, but so far I've gotten invites to Australia, Minnesota, Toronto, and I have to visit UK and Montreal, so no shortage of places to go for me. -

It's good to see y'all are safe and hope you get over that flu quick, amiin. And I hope that the frostbite isn't very serious, because I've seen how that can be very bad....
